The Force Awakens adding a new character



Ken Leung (hey it's that guy!)
He's apparently some sort of military character who's working for the Rebellion Resistance going by his costume description.

a brownish uniform with reddish belt and has a rank insignia that looks similar to this:


The costume designer mentioned “The Rebels [in TFA] are in khakis and olives and some oranges—warmer colors.”

so duh

SDCC Toy Packaging Reveals The Force Awakens First Order Origins




A brief description of how the iconic Stormtrooper changed with time, and it reveals an interesting tidbit: the First Order isn’t necessarily The Empire.

From the description, it looks like the Empire was in disarray after the destruction of the Second Death Star, and it appears that they’ve reconfigured into a new, brutal regime.
