During a first listen on its Facebook page, stars Darren Criss, Kevin McHale and Chord Overstreet previewed five songs that will be featured in the first two episodes of the Fox dramedy's upcoming fourth season.

With Glee returning next week, the Fox dramedy offered loyal fans a first listen to the music from its fourth season premiere via Facebook on Wednesday.

In addition to the previously reported cover of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," the Glee gang will take on songs by Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears, among others.

The so-called Glee Listening Party, hosted by Kevin McHale (Artie) and Darren Criss (Blaine) offered a look at 5 songs from the first two episodes.

In the premiere, Kate Hudson will take on a mashup of Lady Gaga's "Americano" and Jennifer Lopez's "Dance Again." "It works really well, it's fun," Hudson, who plays Rachel's tough NYADA dance teacher Cassandra July, says of the track. "It's got fun and levity and you see a different side of her. … This character actually has some depth."

Criss, meanwhile, will take on Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons' "It's Time."

During each song, a slideshow played that featured a handful of new images from Glee's fourth season as well as the previously released cast photos teasing New Directions' new beginnings as well as new actors joining the series including Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist.

McHale and Criss will duet on another mashup -- of Jusin Bieber's "Boyfriend" and Britney Spears' "Boys" in the second episode of the season, the Spears tribute "Britney 2.0."  "When you see it on the episode, we were told to make it as cheesy and as boybandy as possible," Criss said of the track, with the duo joking that choreographer Zach Woodlee taught them a "boy band face."

Chord Overstreet (Sam) previewed Heather Morris' (Brittany) cover of Spears' "Gimmie More," which she'll perform in the second episode with the rest of New Directions dancing to support the track.

Lastly, McHale introduced "Call Me Maybe," which featured standout vocals from Alex Glee Project season one winner Alex Newell (Unique) and Criss.
