Only a week after Examiner's interview with "Glee" star Chris Colfer in July, we told you the star was working on a second novel, later revealed to be “Struck by Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal." E! Online on Wednesday exclusively released the book cover.
On the cover, in front of a lined-notebook-paper background, the star and young author is seen sitting on a stool and holding a journal. Above his head, a broken pencil in the shape of a lightning bolt is place in front of the book's title.
“Struck by Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal” is a book adaption of Colfer's first self-written starring role in a feature film. The “Struck by Lightning” novel will hit shelves November 20, approximately one month before the film enters theaters.
"I got a bunch of stories in me. I feel like I was born with, like, a major to-do list of stories to tell," Colfer told Examiner in July. "I’ll have a new story to tell as long as people want to listen to me."
The 22-year-old's first novel, the New York Times Bestseller "The Land Of Stories: The Wishing Spell," hit shelves only two months ago. The second installment in the series will be available next year.
Colfer is also developing a second self-written movie, which is rumored to have been filmed this summer despite the star's busy schedule.
