Steven Bauer, an actor best known for his role in the 1983 film "Scarface," was arrested in the Miami area for driving with a suspended license.
The 52-year-old actor, whose real name is Steven Ernest Echevarria, was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail early morning on Tuesday, December 18, according to The Associated Press. Bauer was stopped in Sweetwater for an improper left turn late at night on December 17.
The actor was given a warning but when the officer ran his driver's license, he found an open 12-year-old warrant, the wire service reports.
Bauer played the role of Manny Ribera in the 1983 movie "Scarface" starring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. The actor also starred on the bilingual PBS show "Que Pasa, USA,""Primal Fear,""Traffic" and had a recurring role on "Breaking Bad."
Bauer was previously married to actress Melanie Griffith from 1982 to 1987. The two have a 27-year-old son together named Alexander Bauer. Bauer was then married to Ingrid Anderson from 1989 to 1991. Bauer and Anderson also have a son, named Dylan, born in 1990.
