Congratulations, Mario! The “Saved by the Bell” star is now a married man, having wed singer-dancer Courtney Mazza in a made-for-TV ceremony in Punta Mita, Mexico, on Saturday.

Lopez – a television host for entertainment show Extra and popular singing competition “The X Factor” – tied the knot with his fiancée over the weekend, nearly one year after popping the question while on vacation in Mexico on December, 31, 2011.

The beachside ceremony took place on the beach, reports Extra, and the couple’s two-year-old daughter Gia, walked down the aisle as the flower girl. The event was attended by family and friends, including Eva Longoria who brought her mother as her wedding date.

Lopez and Mazza first met in 2006 as cast members of “A Chorus Line” on Broadway and began dating in 2008.

The wedding was taped for a television special scheduled to air on December 8 on TLC. “Mario & Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta” will feature not only the happy couple’s nuptials, but also share wedding planning highlights.

“She’s the quarterback of the team,” Lopez, told Us Weekly of his letting his fiancée head up the wedding preparations. “It’s her day, so I’m cool with what she wants.”

But if there’s one thing that Lopez has been vocal about, it’s his desire to expand his family with his Italian-American bride, telling PEOPLE magazine he hopes to have more children soon.

“Right after the wedding,” Lopez told the celebrity news magazine. “We’ll wait for the guests to leave and then we’re getting right on that!”

It’s the first marriage for Mazza, who plans to take her new husband’s last name. Lopez, 39, has been married once before, to actress Ali Landry.
