The singer is due to perform her latest track Sight Of You on the semi-final results show this weekend - the day before the album is released.
But while the record is not expected to reach the top five of the album charts, insiders working with the singer have expressed fears that her performance could actually damage sales, rather than give them a boost.

'We're not thinking it will be number one - that's never going to happen,' a source told The Sun.
'It won't be top five in a million years. But hopefully it will make the top ten.
'The X Factor thing is a risk as it might not translate into sales and everyone will just slag off her performance if it's anything less than brilliant.'
Tulisa's chart fortunes have been mixed, with her debut single Young - which she performed live on Britain's Got Talent - reaching number one, but the follow-up Live It Up only peaked at number 11.
The show has provided a welcome sales boost for many acts who have appeared on the results show on Sunday nights.
Bruno Mars saw sales of his track Locked Out Of Heaven rise by 67 per cent - sending him up the charts to number two - following last Sunday's show, while Rihanna's recent chart-topper Diamonds soared back up to number three after she also appeared last Sunday.
More recently Labrinth and Emeli Sande hit number one in the singles charts the week after performing Beneath Your Beautiful on the show.
Sunday's show will also feature the first ever X Factor UK appearance from US singer Pink, who will perform her new single Try.
