Taking a break from her busy schedule, Lea Michele soaked up the spotlight by covering the January 2013 issue of Flare magazine.
Adorning her hand with a massive Stephen Webster ring, the 26-year-old actress looked picture perfect for the Max Abadian shot front page while opening up about everything from her upcoming album to being "glee-fully" happy with her beau Cory Monteith.

On her personal sense of style:
"I’m very simple with clothes and I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup. I really feel like I’m the only girl who will do a photo shoot and want to take all the hair and makeup off. ‘Cause I like to let my skin breathe and you know, I’m pretty minimal in my wardrobe. "
On how many tattoo's she has:
"I think about 12. But they’re all very very very little. I have a butterfly with my mom that we got together. This heart on my finger that I got with [my] cousins, that I’m actually in the process of removing, ‘cause it didn’t take well to the red."
On her Canadian boyfriend, Cory Monteith:
"Canada makes some great dudes, and he’s definitely one of them—just the nicest, sweetest guy in the world. And it’s really great that I’ve gotten to go to Victoria and Vancouver a lot—it’s so beautiful."
On working on her first album:
"I’m beginning the process of it. I’m working with some really great writers. I definitely think that it’s a long process. You know, I don’t know when exactly that will happen, but it’s a goal of mine for sure. I want to make sure that it gets a lot of attention. But I’m beginning a very slow process."
Chris Colfer on Lea Michele from Flare Magazine:
“Usually when Lea is parodied, Rachel Berry is the one being impersonated. They have similarities, but Lea and Rachel are very different people. They just look alike.”
Lucky for him, Michele is a skilled cook; in fact, Colfer says that if she weren’t an actress, she’d be a chef. “The way she describes food is like a romance novel. The details turn you on. You forget she’s describing hummus.”
Lea Michele & Cory Monteith: Weekend in Whistler
Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are all smiles as they arrive at Vancouver International Airport on Sunday evening (November 25) in British Columbia, Canada.
The on-and-off-screen Glee couple spent the long holiday weekend in Whistler, a popular ski town.
“I’m on the fourth season of my television show which is probably the most near and dear [to me],” Lea recently shared in an interview with WWD.
She added, “I’m so happy on the show. I love it so much. The fact that we are going into a fourth season so strong is really awesome. I really think that it’s been such a blessing to be on a TV show that portrays inner beauty as well as external beauty.”

Michele dishes to the late night talk show host about a few of her favorite things.
In her own words, Glee star Lea Michele has finally made it. What pushed the singing sensation over the top? She’s had a fake pregnancy rumor.
“I really felt like I finally made it. Having your first fake pregnancy rumor. It was really awesome,” Michele told Jay Leno on Monday night. “I feel like it’s part of what happens in this business, but that’s a real one. That’s a cool one to get. You’re in.”
The native New Yorker also talked about her love of food and cooking. Michele, an avid cook, admitted her obsession with the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. “It’s like porno. It’s food porno,” Michele said.
“That’s going to be the next rumor. Lea’s obsessed with porno.”
Perhaps the highlight of the interview was a story Michele told about a recent spray tanning mishap involving a manager’s dog.
After getting a spray tan, (because “the sun’s bad, apparently”) the native New Yorker went into the studio to work on her upcoming solo album (her first). During a break, a manager’s dog jumped onto her lap and it went downhill after that.
“[The manager] went over to pick up the dog and the dog peed all over me, which wouldn’t have been so bad,” Michele said. “Because I didn’t wipe off the spray tan yet it left pee streaks all over my legs for days. I had these zebra stripe pee marks on my legs.”
“That’s so much better than going out in the sun for 20 minutes,” Leno joked.
