Although Warner Bros. have yet to announce solid plans for a Justice League movie, countless rumors seemingly indicate that the flick is definitely in the works, low key. And now endorsing speculation that started with the closing sequence of director Christopher Nolan's epic Batman conclusion, The Dark Knight Rises, the folks from HitFix seem to know who'll take up Christian Bale's ‘Batman’ mantle in the DC superhero team-up movie. And if true, it's no big surprise.

While this claim should be added to the pile of rumors that already exist, the site further claims that Warner Bros. are currently “solidifying deals for Gordon-Levitt and another actor from the trilogy. If true, however, the Justice League film will definitely be in continuity with Nolan's trilogy. And Gordon-Levitt would considerably be reprising his role from the The Dark Knight Rises, in which his character's true identity was revealed to be Robin. And that evidently means Justice League's Dark Knight won't be using the respective alias “Bruce Wayne.”
It is also worth noting that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was asked last month whether there were plans of what's being reported now. While denying there was anything underway at that moment, he did add, “If the script inspires me and if there's a filmmaker that I respect and connect to...I'd consider anything.”
Anyhow, with Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall reportedly penning the film's screenplay, Justice League is said to follow next year's Man of Steel, and is scheduled for release in 2015.
