A new official photo of Ben Affleck as Batman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was just released by DC Comics. To celebrate Batman’s 75th anniversary there’s a big Batman montage wall made up of old and new photos. In this case… brand new!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice photographer Clay Enos took the shot above with a Nikon D4, and the end result is completely Photoshop-free! Ben Affleck’s cape and cowl are on display at San Diego Comic-Con… so who knows what other surprises Warner Bros./DC will have for us this weekend!

SDCC: WARNER BROS. SHARES AFFLECK’S BATMAN COWL WITH FANS!!!
Fans worldwide received their first glimpse of Ben Affleck’s costume from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in May, but this week at Comic-Con International, attendees can get an up-close look at the cape and cowl.
Displayed by DC Entertainment alongside other Batman movie costumes as part of the character’s 75th anniversary celebration, the elements perhaps offer a better idea than the moody promotional photo did of director Zack Snyder’s vision for the Dark Knight. The cape and cowl are indeed black, not the steely gray of The Dark Knight Returns. The rest of the costume, which isn’t part of the exhibit, is said to be gray and black.
Opening May 6, 2016, “Batman v Superman, Dawn of Justice” also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
