been visiting the Australian mogul in New York City,
taking pains to keep her visits secret

Is Miranda Kerr telling a “Packer” lies? [journo should hang head in shame]
The supermodel recently dismissed reports that she’s dating Australian billionaire James Packer following her split last October from Orlando Bloom.
But Confidenti@l has learned that Kerr has been stealthily visiting Packer at his New York City hotel, even going to the trouble of changing cars en route to throw paparazzi off her trail.
“She’s being very discreet,” says our source, “What she’ll do is go to (Upper West Side hotel) the Mandarin Oriental in an Uber (car service), hang out for like 15 minutes and then take a different Uber out so that she can sneak by the paps. Then she’ll stop along the way to make sure she wasn’t being followed.”
While the Victoria’s Secret stunner has been pictured all over town in the past week, she has also kept her visits to the Greenwich Hotel under wraps. Confidenti@l is told that the model was spotted leaving the swanky downtown hotel — where Packer has been seen several times in the past week — on Friday morning and returning that evening.
Reports first surfaced in Australia in December that Kerr and Packer, a pal of Tom Cruise and other celebs including Bloom, were dating. Later that month Kerr reportedly spent several days on Packer’s superyacht, the Arctic P, off Cyprus.
It's no surprise that the supermodel, who has a son, Flynn, with Bloom, is trying to stay on the DL — both she and Packer have complicated personal lives. He recently described his as a “disaster.”
The media and hotel magnate, worth around $6 billion, was married to bikini model Jodhi Meares from 1999 until 2002; his second marriage, to model Erica Baxter, ended last September. In May, he was involved in a street brawl with former friend and fellow mogul David Gyngell, reportedly over Packer’s relationship with Kerr.
Also in May, Kerr brushed off reports that the two were an item. “(Packer’s) been a friend for many years,” she told news.com.au. “I’m not looking for anything too serious or to be in a relationship .”
Then, in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald published on July 7, she addressed the relationship again. “(Rumors) happen all the time with me,” Kerr told the newspaper. “It happens to Orlando (too). As long as we both know (the truth), then it doesn’t really matter what people think. ”
In the same interview, speaking of the attention she gets from photographers, she said: “Of course it’s frustrating and especially when I have a day off.”
A rep for Kerr declined to comment. A rep for Packer couldn’t be reached.
