-For those who don't know, the surprise announcement on the otherwise boring finale of The Bachelor (Chris picked the girl ready to pop out babies, not the girl who didn't even know if she loved him) was that there will be two Bachelorettes this season: Britt and Kaitlyn. The announcement was met with awkward silence from the audience, who had just clearly shown support for Kaitlyn over Britt. Chris Harrison tried to save face but nobody was having it.
-Chris H. claimed that the ~Bachelor nation~ was torn between the two girls but in reality, most people wanted Kaitlyn
-Kaitlyn was giving Britt the stink eye the whole time and was a constant source of Canadian polite shade ("well, it's not ideal")
-they did this once before on The Bachelor (season 6)
-fans are now pissed and threatening to boycott
-people are pointing out how sexist it is to have 25 guys choose who they want to "date" (lbr, fuck) The Bachelorette is now "25 bachelors choose a Bachelorette."
