- When he's not busy laughing at bodies of someone who committed suicide, Logan Paul continues to prove why his mother should have swallowed.
- On the latest episode of his podcast Impaulsive, Logan made the declaration that for his New Years Resolution, he was dedicating each month to doing something he had never done before.
- For January, he is currently eating vegan and sober. For February, he's going ~Fatal~ by eating only steak and consuming copious amounts of alcohol.
- For the month of March however, Paul has decided that he wants to "go gay" for 30 days in an effort to be Male-Only March.
- Of course, this is sparking a lot of backlash and may accusing Paul of, rightfully, being homophobic and mocking the LGBTQ+ community.

Next week on SVU, Stone gets the spotlight again, as he tries to catch a rapist his father tried to convict a few decades ago on a much better show. I'm so bored I can't even find a way to make this funny. It'll probably be sleep-inducing and, if we watch it, we will regret wasting 40 minutes of our life.
So see you all in next week's post!
ONTD, did you watch last night's ~risque~ episode? Were you bored because it was predictable af? But did you also kinda like it, because you've always had a weird crush on Mark Feuerstein? (wait no that's just me) And do you want Carisi to woo you with champagne and candles like the basic bro he has apparently become? Or do you want him to bring you coffee, just how you like it, like the sweetheart he still is deep down? Lastly, I MISSED YOU! I did not miss SVU, but if that's what I have to endure to enjoy these posts, then so be it, because y'all are worth it!
Breaking: Netflix hit with trademark lawsuit over "Choose Your Own Adventure." The book publisher holding rights claims "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" confuses viewers with false association. https://t.co/yGCfhcdvhY— Eriq Gardner (@eriqgardner) January 11, 2019
Gorl, The Netflix is getting sued. Yes, the creators of the classic "Choose Your Own Adventure" books is suing The Netflix over the Black Mirror film Bandersnatch where viewers could make interactive choices to unfold different plots and endings. Filed in a Vermont court, Chooseco, LLC says that they were in negotiations for licensing, but ultimately that Netflix did not receive a license to use the association. Chooseco, LLC sent Netflix a cease and desist to not use "Choose Your Own Adventure" in the film and that the book publisher did not their brand associated with the film and in the marketing.
Chooseco, LLC is seeking $25 million in damages. (get money bish!). Chooseco has been active in protecting who tries to use "Choose Your Own Adventure" over the years.
His direct quotes on the issue:
“It’s wild because he feels like he’s being attacked. He is right to feel the way he feels … You react the way you feel. He feels he’s being attacked. But the truth is, he’s not. The truth is, Kevin, you’re not being attacked. You have to acknowledge what went on and acknowledge the pain of other people. That’s all anybody’s asking for. That’s it."
And on how he deals with arguments:
“People do make you feel that way … then all of a sudden you can get hardened. But the hard part is when you put down the defences and you say, ‘Wait a minute, I’m not listening.’ Even if you don’t agree, you have to respect and know what another person is feeling is different.”
Comedian Janeane Garofalo has just about hit iT with everyone coming for serial sexual harasser Louis CK.
Janeane Garofalo: "Leave Louis C.K. alone. Enough with that" https://t.co/9uUh4hJm8K— Vulture (@vulture) January 11, 2019
As a guest on Bust's Poptarts podcast, Garofalo claims that it's okay to question the source when it comes to Me Too as anyone could be accused of anything. She explained she could accuse the hosts of having pictures of them molesting children and no one could say anything to question it.
She says Louis is her friend and he has suffered and we should all think about his daughters in this situation. The hosts pushed back and Garafalo got pissed, saying how unfair it is that she constantly gets it from people when discussing Louis' situation. She even mentions Israel like that's supposed to be an apt comparison.
Garafalo then says so much offensive material is presented at the Comedy Cellar and if you don't like it, then leave.
The Green Book challenge: How do you disappear someone from an awards campaign when he's been front and center for months? https://t.co/j0QDOUHfgs— Matthew Belloni (@THRMattBelloni) January 11, 2019
Despite the fact that writer/producer Nick Vallelonga (son of the real-life inspiration of 'Green Book's lead Viggo Mortensen's character), apologized for his stupid shitty comment against Muslim people (a tweet to Trump, no less), the studio behind the movie aren't fucking around when it comes to this stupid movie's awards chances.
So now, Participant Media, the studio behind 'Green Book', has benched Vallelonga from appearing at any awards ceremony - starting with this weekend's Critics' Choice Awards where he is nominated, and leading up to the Oscars on February 24th. Somehow they think this'll help their awards chances. Their statement:
"We find Mr Vallelonga's Twitter post offensive, dangerous, and antithetical to Participant Media's values. We reject it in no uncertain terms."
"Freddy Returns" - After learning that Clem doesn’t plan to invite her father to the wedding, Nick’s parents encourage her to ask him over to their home for dinner to help repair their relationship. Also, Nick tries to teach Shannon to be more responsible at home, on FAM, Thursday, January 17th on CBS.
Nina Dobrev is back on TV! What did you think of the pilot ONTD?
Actress Lana Condor made her late night talk show debut last night. Unfortunately it had to be on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During her interview, the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress reveals that before filming the first movie, she and her co-star Noah Centineo made a “no dating in real life” pact.
Condor explains, “I did [set early boundaries with Noah]. We had just come back from a hot yoga class and went to his apartment, and we ordered pizza, and it’s kind of like, ooh, hot yoga, pizza, what’s happening? It was right before we shot the movie, just getting to know each other. And I felt something. And then so we went like this, and I looked at him and I went, ‘Noah, it’s not going to happen between us.’ Yeah, because I felt, for the show to do well, we had to be best-friend professionals. And so I was like, ‘it’s just not going to happen.’ And he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s not going to happen.’ And I was like, ‘Great!’ So we kind of did what we did in To All the Boys the movie, we kind of made a contract and set boundaries and then I’m so happy that we did that because the movie turned out great and now we’re doing a sequel. So I have to work with him again so imagine!”
“So you still might have that spark?” asks Fallon.
“We still have the spark, yeah, absolutely,” confirms Lana. “We were just on the phone the other day, just talking about the sequel. Okaaay!”
Fallon further pushes it by suggesting that after filming all three films, the two could then fall in love afterwards. Condor simply laughs it off with no further comment.
Someone should remind Jimmy that Lana Condor is currently in a relationship with long time boyfriend Anthony De La Torre.

R. Kelly is starting to feel the pressure from Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly.
- According to TMZ, the singer has been experiencing panic attacks so severe that "he's had to seek medical attention at a hospital". The first signs of distress occurred during the days leading up to the premiere of the documentary.
- Doctors have made several house calls days after the documentary premiered and he saw the backlash on social media and from fellow celebrities.
- Kelly still believes he did nothing wrong and doesn't want to look guilty by hiding, which is why he's been doing club appearances.
One year after posting a video of what appeared to be a dead body after an apparent suicide, Logan Paul has sparked backlash again, this time for saying he will "go gay" for a month. https://t.co/swVjDXOgkN— E! News (@enews) January 11, 2019

Jillian Michaels has ruffled a few feathers by slamming the Keto diet, infuriating a few celebs who follow the fat-based diet.

. @Postmates you have the worst customer service of all time. Have been a great customer for years, and hoped as a company you’d realize the real need to better the quality of your services as a whole.— Gigi Hadid (@GiGiHadid) January 11, 2019
(cont) you have heard from enough people whose time and money you’ve wasted to act like you don’t know what’s going on- it takes away from the hardworking Postmates you do have. Just do better.— Gigi Hadid (@GiGiHadid) January 11, 2019
Gigi Hadid is fed up with the popular courier service Postmates. The app delivers foods & goods locally. The model took to Twitter to directly slam the company saying they have the worst customer service and that her food comes either damaged, taken, or doesn’t come correctly. The company responded acknowledging her frustration and asked her to reply to their DM’s but Hadid refused to privately message them back because she doesn’t want any “special treatment.”
No I don’t want to DM and it’s not just a personal issue that has been going on countless times for a long time. I don’t want special treatment, I want every one of your customers to be treated better when they use your app. https://t.co/EsS5bzQQBq— Gigi Hadid (@GiGiHadid) January 11, 2019
I’m not saying postmates is the biggest world issue. (Pinned tweet on my profile for inspired gifts by UNICEF for kids in need worldwide) But a lot of people have been ripped off for a while now..& at the end of the day this oftentimes leads to wasted food. So it’s an issue. https://t.co/CsGbBUQ6Ac— Gigi Hadid (@GiGiHadid) January 11, 2019

To save his daughter, he'll go anywhere—and any-when…

Stranded in suburban San Francisco since the 1990s after a botched mission, Kin has kept his past hidden from everyone around him, despite the increasing blackouts and memory loss affecting his time-traveler's brain. Until one afternoon, his “rescue” team arrives—eighteen years too late.
Their mission: return Kin to 2142 where he's only been gone weeks, not years, and where another family is waiting for him. A family he can’t remember.
Torn between two lives, Kin is desperate for a way to stay connected to both. But when his best efforts threaten to destroy the agency and even history itself, his daughter’s very existence is at risk. It'll take one final trip across time to save Miranda—even if it means breaking all the rules of time travel in the process.

We Hunt the Flame
by Hafsah Faizal (May 14)
Zafira is the Hunter, disguising herself as a man when she braves the cursed forest of the Arz to feed her people. Nasir is the Prince of Death, assassinating those foolish enough to defy his autocratic father, the king. If Zafira was exposed as a girl, all of her achievements would be rejected; if Nasir displayed his compassion, his father would punish him in the most brutal of ways.
Both are legends in the kingdom of Arawiya—but neither wants to be.
War is brewing, and the Arz sweeps closer with each passing day, engulfing the land in shadow. When Zafira embarks on a quest to uncover a lost artifact that can restore magic to her suffering world and stop the Arz, Nasir is sent by the king on a similar mission: retrieve the artifact and kill the Hunter. But an ancient evil stirs as their journey unfolds—and the prize they seek may pose a threat greater than either can imagine.

He’s proved right when the wizard conjures a legion of Taboos—feral godling-child hybrids—to seize Lagos for himself. She packs up her sword, her shoes, and her dirty magazines, and prepares to launch her daring escape. But her childhood nemesis won't set her free without a service.
Harrowhark Nonagesimus, Reverend Daughter of the Ninth House and bone witch extraordinaire, has been summoned into action. If Harrowhark succeeds she will be become an immortal, all-powerful servant of the Resurrection, but no necromancer can ascend without their cavalier. Without Gideon's sword, Harrow will fail, and the Ninth House will die.
Of course, some things are better left dead.
I need to spend less time posting about books and more time actually reading. How's your book pile looking, ONTD?
Follow-up to this post
On January 8, Marie Kondo had a Q&A via translator at 92Y and was asked about the fierce debate happening on twitter involving getting rid of books.
The question is asked at around 40:15 in the video
"I love that actually because the point of the KonMari method is to figure out your sense of value. 'What do you hold most important?' So if you're angered -- if your action is anger that you have to let go of books then that's great because that means for you books are invaluable.
The idea is that if it sparks joy in you, you must keep it. Even if I go over to your home, and I say, 'Do you really want to keep this book?' If it sparks joy for you, keep it with confidence.
But in terms of the difference in reaction between Japan and the West, in Japan when I was tidying with my clients, some clients who had a LOT of books -- of course in Japan there's a lot more moisture, it's a very moist climate, the books would be really really harmed physically by the dampness -- so I think climate has a lot to do with my approach."
-"Tidying is not about looking for things to discard. But rather about things you want to keep in your life. Things that you want to cherish. Things that you love. Those are the things that I should be selecting."
-She lives in the US now which they joke about being more cluttered because "Americans houses are so big". Also talks about cultural differences in that her suggested method of thanking items for their use is accepted as natural whereas Westerners think that's odd.
-Watched Queer Eye in preparation for her show in order to sort of recreate the lessons she passed on to clients
-In regards to tidying things that belonged to a loved one that's passed away. "Belongings of our loved ones are so important to us. If you're not ready in your heart, then my suggestion is that you're not ready yet to start tidying yet. There's no need. It's important to focus on your own belongings and and organize your heart and organize your thoughts first and then consider how you'd like to proceed with your life. There will be a day where you're ready to tidy their things. "
