Sure, we all know that "Shallow" from
A Star is Born will probably be nominated and win, and I'm not mad at it.
There's also probably going to be a song from
Mary Poppins Returns nominated, but not a thing besides some trailers is out for that, so who knows.
But there are a few other songs we can imagine being nominated, so here we go.
Jacob Banks - In The Name of Love from The Equalizer 2
Now, I never saw any of
The Equalizer movies, so I'm not sure about the context this is used in. But from what I've read, it's a lot better than the movie it's featured in.
Other Possible Nominations: Probably nothing. Imagine if Denzel was nominated for this just to lose to an "alleged" abuser for the THIRD year in a row.
Lil Yachty - Go! Remix from Teen Titans Go! To The Movies
There's actually three versions of this song, two are played in the movie, but this is played in the credits. This movie has a lot of original music, and none of it is really
awful, but this is really catchy. I'm biased because I enjoyed this quite a lot.
If you think it can't win because it's a credits song, Coco's
Remember Me won last year with its credits version instead of the superior one.
Other Possible Nominations: Best Animated Feature, because that category is looking WEEEEAK af this year.
The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar - Pray For Me from Black Panther
There's a better chance that Disney is going to push another song on this list over this because I can't imagine a song with the lyrics "I fight God, just tell me, how many murders left?" being nominated. This plays during an undercover mission in a casino.
Other Possible Nominations: Disney is pushing for this in every category - Even
Infinity War is only getting a visual effects push - so who knows? Wouldn't Best Picture be awesome.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA - All The Stars from Black Panther
This is the end credit sequence, the only place where the song plays. Relatively bright and peppy compaired to Pray For Me.

Céline Dion - Ashes from Deadpool 2
Remember when the first movie was nominated for some Golden Globes? Perhaps it could happen again, and even go all the way to Oscar gold. This has the plus of being a ballad and the minus of being in a superhero movie, so we shall see.

Sade - Flower of The Universe from A Wrinkle In Time
This movie had a weird collection of music, peppered in the film as if it was a collection of music videos and not a cohesive film. I'm not sure if all of it was original, but I know this was. This plays...when the kids are walking up a staircase. I know, it's weird. But wouldn't it be nice to see Sade perform on the Oscar stage.
Other Possible Nominations: Getting an award for not being the worst movie to come out on March 9th.
