The Avengers:Age of Ultron Comic-Con Announcement is now online in HQ

One of the great moments at San Diego Comic-Con this year was the very end of the Marvel Studios panel when Kevin Feige surprised the audience by bringing out Joss Whedon. Whedon had something to show us, and the video was an exciting reveal of the title to his May 1, 2015 sequel to The Avengers. By now we know, of course, that it’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.

What many of you who weren’t in the room don’t know is what the video looked like, at least not in high-res official form. The Iron Man 3 Jarvis App has now revealed that footage, which can be viewed online. We have it below, along with a plot synopsis that was uploaded to IMDB. It’s likely unofficial but interesting none the less.

First up, thanks to MoviePilot for the heads up on this video. According to their site, you can access it via the Jarvis iPhone App but I couldn’t get it to work. None the less, here’s the video.

What an exciting reveal that was.

Since that moment, fans have been discussing exactly how Ultron, who’ll be played by James Spader, would fit in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, we might (stress “might”) have an idea. A plot synopsis has been uploaded to the Internet Movie Database that’s slightly different from what we’ve heard. Disney tells us it’s not official, but that doesn’t mean there’s zero truth to it. Here it is.

As the US Government create a force, known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer. But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it’s time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever.

That, oddly, makes a bunch of sense. We know from various Marvel properties that humanity was frightened by the Battle of New York and the super heroes known as The Avengers. Maybe the government uses some of Tony Stark’s tech to create Ultron as a more suitable replacement, until that goes wrong. Again – totally hypothetical and Disney tells us it’s not official, but it could work.

Thoughts on the video and rumored plot synopsis?

Law & Order: UK Renewed for Season 8

U.K. TV giant ITV said Thursday it has ordered season eight of Law & Order: UK, starring Bradley Walsh, Georgia Taylor, Paterson Joseph and Dominic Rowan.

The show from the Kudos banner of 21st Century Fox's Elisabeth Murdoch-led Shine Group is based on the U.S. hit franchise from Dick Wolf.

Filming of the latest eight-episode series will begin in London next month and air on ITV next year.

Law & Order has been one of the most successful brands in U.S. primetime TV "and has become a firm favorite with the ITV audience since first broadcasting in 2009," ITV highlighted.

Season seven aired earlier this year and won its time slot on every occasion. It beat out BBC/Starz period drama The White Queen. The season reached an average audience of 5.4 million viewers and a share of 21.3 percent of the U.K. TV audience watching at the time. That was an increase over the previous season, according to ITV.

Walsh plays Detective Sergeant Ronnie Brooks in the ITV hit, while Rowan plays Chief Prosecutor Jacob Thorne. Taylor (Coronation Street) and Joseph (Peep Show) joined the cast last season as a prosecutor and police officer, respectively.

They will be joined in the new season by new colleague Detective Sergeant Joe Hawkins played by Ben Bailey Smith (Derek).

The new season will be produced by Jane Dauncey (Stella, Casualty), and Alison Jackson and Jane Featherstone will executive produce for Kudos.

Said ITV head of drama series Jane Hudson: "It’s a much loved drama amongst our audience, and they certainly won’t be disappointed by what’s in store for them this series.”

Fashion, Put It All On Me

Designer Peggy Noland is making a big name for herself in the fashion world. She customized a pair of Air Jordans for Miley Cyrus to wear in her “23″ video, and she designed an exclusive collection of rompers for Rihanna to rock on her Diamonds World Tour. But, her latest celebrity-themed project has a lot of people asking, “What the hell were you thinking?” — and not in a good way.
Noland recently unveiled a new line of t-shirts and dresses featuring Oprah’s head photoshopped onto a variety of nude bodies. We’re sure this Kansas City native had good intentions for shock value when she created these designs, but unfortunately for her, she failed to think twice about racial implications and the backlash she would receive for using a Black women’s body as an object. (Has she not read a single history book or listened to stories about women of color being exploited and put on display for profit?)

The fashion designer discussed her not-so intelligent explanation for the dresses during an interview with New York Magazine.
“This is a collaboration with designer [and Misbehave creative director] Sally Thurer. She’s the one who made the graphic. For me, it originated as kind of the age old [red] carpet question: Who are you wearing? And this clearly is: You’re wearing Oprah instead of a designer,” she said. “Sally mentioned from the onset of this collaboration that one of Oprah’s most effective qualities is that she’s a placeholder, she’s a stand-in for you with her foibles and her failures — especially with her public weight issues. I’m interested and sensitive to this increased access that we have to celebrities and to all of their ups and downs, for better or worse. I feel like it’s kind of my own personal exploration and exploitation of just that.”
Noland — who admitted that she’s inspired by eccentric, rich French women, R. Kelly and small-town meth addicts —went on to say that this line has “some really meaningful philosophical layers.” (Who knew?!)
“We feel very protective of our public figures. We don’t want them to be exposed that way, but we feel like they’re ours, too,” she told the magazine. “The simpler, more lighthearted idea is that it’s like one of those bikini-printed beach shirts. I think there are some really meaningful philosophical layers. I can’t believe I just said ‘philosophical’ when talking about a dress. We share a humorous underpinning to all our work. That’s why there’s naked Oprah with a KISS face. It can nod to how ridiculous the fashion industry is at times.”

And to add icing on the cake, Noland acknowledged that Mrs. Winfrey herself will most likely not be a fan of her work. “Surely Oprah personally would not be excited about having our version of her nude body splashed on a dress for other people to wear, but I think it’s an interesting conversation to have about our access and our interest in people that we don’t know,” she explained. “I would just encourage people to just be bold with it. If they’re going to buy it and wear it, just wear it. I would say leave your jacket at home, you know? Or try the T-shirt version, then you have the familiarity of pants to help you.”
Epic fail. But, honestly, what more should we expect from a person who describes her work as the place where “white trash meets high class?”

Jean-Claude Van Damme's epic split stunt goes viral

"Epic" is the word being used to describe a new Jean-Claude Van Damme video.

"Mind-blowing" is another.

The action star does the splits between two Volvo trucks in a new ad that went up on YouTube on Wednesday and already has been viewed more than 6 million times.

"I've had my ups and downs. My fair share of bumpy roads and heavy winds. That's what made me what I am today," says Van Damme, 53, in a voice-over at the start of the video. "Now I stand here before you. What you see is a body crafted to perfection."

As the camera pulls back, Van Damme is seen standing on the rear-view mirrors of two side-by-side trucks. The trucks are moving backward on an empty chunk of highway.

Van Damme says he has "a pair of legs engineered to defy the laws of physics, and a mind-set to master the most epic of splits."

And then the two trucks slowly move apart as they travel in reverse, with Van Damme's legs spreading with them. This continues until Van Damme is in a complete split.

The film was designed to show the stability of Volvo steering, explains Jan-Inge Svensson, the engineer behind the development of the system's software at Volvo Trucks, on the Volvo website. "The stability and control are so good that you can reverse a truck over a long distance with very high precision, which is exactly what we've had to do in this film. It had to be perfect — right down to the last centimeter."

Bobbie Brown, "Cherry Pie" Video Star, Talks Leonardo DiCaprio One-Night Stand In New Memoir

Revisiting the past! Bobbie Brown -- the blonde bombshell best known for her starring turn in Warrant's 1990 music video "Cherry Pie" -- is cleaning out her closest. To top it off, she's also airing out Leonardo DiCaprio's dirty sheets! The former video vixen, now 44, is opening up in a new memoir about an alleged one-night stand with the A-list actor back in the day.

"One night [out in Hollywood] I ran into Leonardo DiCaprio, a baby-faced 21-year-old actor who'd just had a hit with The Basketball Diaries," Brown reveals in her new book. "I knew him from the clubs, he was always coming up to me saying, 'You're going to be my girlfriend one day.' But I was with Tommy [Lee], and he was just way too young for me. I was five years his senior."

At the time, Brown and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee were living together in a Studio City condo with Taylar, her daughter (now 21) with ex-husband and Warrant frontman Jani Lane. Brown and Lane (who died in 2011) divorced in 1993 after two years together, and Brown commenced a romance with Lee following her own rehab stint for cocaine abuse.

Though Brown described sex with Lee as "mind-blowing," the relationship eventually ended after the rocker allegedly choked her. And with one rocky romance ending, a very lucky DiCaprio was about to get his wish. "After the breakup, I was hate-f-cking whoever out of anger," Brown explained of sleeping with the Great Gatsby star after the split.

"We went back to his place that night. Leo had barrettes pulling back his dirty blond hair," Brown said. But before the two got intimate? "He turned on some music and started singing the TLC song 'Waterfalls' to me. It was weird -- I wasn't into it at all," she admitted of the smash 1995 R&B hit.

The singing may have been a bit awkward, but Brown, then 26, brightened up soon enough. "When I pulled his pants down I was like, 'Holy sh-t.' I'd just been with Tommy Lee, but Leo looked huge," she exclaimed. "But the whole thing was awkward, and we didn't hang out much after that."

And too bad! Just two years after their tryst, DiCaprio would officially become a Hollywood A-lister when he won the role of Jack Dawson in James Cameron's Titanic in 1997.

Brown's new memoir about her former Hollywood flings, Dirty Rocker Boys, comes out Nov. 26.
