Donya Fiorentino Is (Rightfully) Not Happy With Gary Oldman's Oscar Win

  • Fiorentino was this piece of shit's third wife from 1997 to 2001.

  • She has recalled his extreme emotional and physical abuse of her during their marriage.

  • Notoriously, he beat her with a telephone receiver when she attempted to call the police in front of their children (and many people - naturally - don't believe her since Oldman was rewarded custody of their kids).

  • Oldman (of course) denies the allegations, claiming he ''accidentally'' hit her as they both reached for the phone. Sure.

  • Fiorentino also (rightfully) calls out Kobe Bryant who was charged with sexual assault in 2003.

  • She says: “Congratulations, Gary and congratulations to the Academy for awarding not one, but two abusers with Oscars. I thought we had evolved. What happened to the #MeToo movement?”

  • Now, many people (that aren't ONTD) can defend their favourite actor against domestically abusing a woman the world doesn't care about, HOWEVER, here's a friendly reminder he's also an extreme racist and nobody can deny that.

  • In conclusion, people are so willing to excuse men and Oldman ain't shit.

Star Wars: Rebels Comes to a Close and Promises Things To Come

– Star Wars: Rebels fourth and last season aired its series finale tonight as the battle for Ezra's homeworld Lothal against Admiral Thrawn, the Emperor, and the Empire itself came to a a close.
– The last few weeks contained a number of revelations and farewells, and tonight was no different. Beware of spoilers:
Ezra and crew staged one last attempt to reclaim Lothal without the help of the Rebel Alliance. After a long battle, Thrawn presented Ezra with a choice – either continue to fight and he would destroy the city of Lothal, or completely surrender himself to him without a fight. Ezra surrended himself, but when it became clear Thrawn wasn't being truthful about his side of the bargain, he staged a back up plan. First, Hera, Sabine, Rex, Callus, Gregor, Zeb and others went further into the Imperial Base to activate the shields. Greg dies during the battle and Rex says farewell. Come face to face with the Emperor, Ezra is given the choice to use the Jedi temple to go back to his parents, but knows that he has to let them go and destorys the temple. Ezra then brought back the Purrgil, the space whales from earlier in the series, to destroy the Imperial blockade surrounding Lothal. With the Purrgil wrapping their tentacles tight around Thrawn, and Ezra commanding the Imperial ship on the bridge, they leapt to Hyperspace towards an unknown destination as he said goodbye to his new family, only explaining in a message left behind on the Ghost ship that "it's something Kanan taught me." Hera and crew destroy the Imperial base as Lothal takes back the rest of the planet.
– Tonight also contained hints stories that are to come and how Rebels connects to the original trilogy:The show flashes forward past Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Lothal has been safe, and the Ghost crew's victory against the Empire caused them to never try to retake the planet. Some years have passed, and Sabine looks different with shorter hair. Zeb and Callus returned to Zeb's new homeworld with his people. Hera had a child of Kanan's named Jason, and fought in numerous battles, including the Battle of Endor. Rex did too. Sabine promised to not let Ezra down before he disappeared, watching over Lothal for him, but she didn't fully understand what he meant for a long time. Ezra has still not returned from his jump to Hyperspace. Sabine then decides that she has to go find him and turns to see an older Ahsoka greeting her. The two of them set off to bring back Ezra.
– This raises many questions, including some for the next animated series:
After years of questions about what would happen to these characters if they weren't around during the original trilogy... most of them were. Ezra has been missing the whole time, but Ahsoka, pupil of Darth Vader, father of heroes Luke and Leia Skywalker, has (apparently) been around this entire time. But where did Ezra disappear to? What trick did Kanan teach him? Where is Rex? Will Ahsoka ever meet the original trilogy characters, and what has she been up to this whole time? Will she and others be main characters in the next animated series? Or will this story be wrapped up somewhere else? Will any of this connect to the sequel trilogy? And most importantly... does this mean Ahsoka is finally in the clear to get her own movie?
– A very important character from the EU was namedropped in the finale by Thrawn: Gillad Pellaeon. Gillad is a close ally of Thrawn's and essentially his star commander and right hand man in some cases. After the Empire fell and became the Imperial Remnant in the far reaches of space in the EU, Gilad became its leader. It could just be a name drop that canonizes the character, but it could be hinting at a future appearance in something, series, book, or not.
– Fans got to go to Lucasfilm last week and see some of the last episodes of Rebels.
– Lucasfilm's next animated series is said to be set after Return of the Jedi.

ONTD, what did you think of the finale? What do you think the next series will be like?

Youtuber Christine Sydelko calls out her former vlogging partner Elijah Daniel for scamming fans

Youtuber and enemy of Halsey, Christine Sydelko split with her vlogging partner Elijah at the beginning of the year. Elijah has been insisting that the split was mutual and that he needed more creative space to pursue his music, but Christine has made it clear that it was her decision.

She recently announced her upcoming merch launch on twitter and some of her fans were concerned about problems with order fulfillment they'd had when ordering merch from Christine and Elijah in the past. Christine responded to one of the fans.

Elijah explained that most of the orders were fulfilled and only a couple hundred people didn't receive any of their items so the thousands of dollars of ordered and ultimately unreceived merchandise isn't a major problem.

Wendy from K-Pop group Red Velvet imitates white and black women for the 2nd time

$

In another news from KKK-pop, Canadian and US educated member Wendy from K-Pop girl group Red Velvet showcasted her "talent" for imitating white and black races. It's not the first time Miss Wendy does this. In 2014, she imitated black men and claimed "For black men, because they're like gangsters, they're like…," (before mimicking black guys' ghetto stereotype moves).

Here's she goes again in 2018 imitating white girls' valley accent and black women's "sassy and aggressive attitude".

The translation goes like this: The MC asks Wendy who lived in the US if it's true that, like the regional dialects in Korea, there's a difference in how different races speak English and she says yes... And says if you're a popular white girl you speak like this, and if you're a popular black girl you speak like this, saying their (black people) expressions are like this (the pursed lips thing), and they use their bodies a lot like this (the finger and body wave thing).

The male MC says he notices how they (black people) use their bodies a lot when talking, and that they don't avoid eyes when confronting you (the subtitle while he's talking says "white English is more 'prim'", to top it off). Then the MC asks them to go at it together in English, with the guy imitating a black man and her imitating a white girl. (Thanks jasmineakaiumi for the translation)

– Walmart asked directorsDee Rees (Pariah, Mudbound), Melissa McCarthy(Mike & Molly), and Nancy Meyers (The Parent Trap, Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday), to direct three short films for them revolving around the concept of a Walmart box.
– The three short films aired last night. Rees and Meyer's were just one minute, while McCarthy's ran longer and was edited down for time.
– This is the second year of short films aired during the Oscars, as Walmart asked Antoine Fuqua, Marc Foster, and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldeberg. The definition of an upgrade as Walmart was forced to hike its minimum wage last month, but not without layoffs.
– The other talent: Dee Rees worked with Mary J. Blige and her trail-blazing cinematographer Rachel Morrison and features professional boxer Claressa Shields from Flint, Michigan. McCarthy's stars Tony-award nominated Keala Settle. Meyer's film features composer Hans Zimmer and P.J. Byrne.

ONTD, what do you think of them? And do you want to see Dee Rees direct a big budget sci-fi/fantasy film someday?
