The Miseducation of Cameron Post written and directed by Desiree Akhavan and starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Sasha Lane took the top honours. The film is an adaptation of a novel of the same name and is about a young teen played by Moretz sent to a gay conversion therapy center.
Emmy winning Handmaid's Tale directed Reed Morano also took home a prize.
