Taylor Swift's Reputation tour set to be one of the biggest tours of all time

Taylor's people want you to know that the reports about her lack of sellouts are misleading as these tickets designed not to sell out quickly and her tour sales are going extraordinarily well.

She sold $180 million worth of tickets in the first week and is set to sell between $390 million and $510 million tickets overall.

Instead of selling out in seconds like the 1989 tour did, Taylor is embracing a "slow-ticketing" model intended to capture the profits previously lost to scalpers and shift them back to Taylor by pricing tickets higher and having available tickets on the primary market all the way up until she starts her show.

WME exec Marc Geiger explained that they are stopping the socialist pricing scheme which previously allowed people who bought their tickets on Ticketmaster for cheaper than a reseller to have a first class experience with an economy ticket.

-Britney's commemorative 250th Piece of Me show on New Year's Eve grossed $1,172,000. The 4,600 person venue was sold out with the average ticket costing about $250.
-According to the Las Vegas Journal this now gives Brit the honour of having the "highest reported take for a single show in a theater residency ever in Las Vegas."
-According to Vegas insiders the NYE show was (unsurprisingly) the hottest ticket of Piece of Me's entire 4-year run.

Hoda Kotb makes $18 million less than Matt Lauer after replacing him

  • Hoda Kotb officially replaced Matt Lauer as permant co-anchor of the Today show on January 2nd

  • Both she and co-anchor Savannah Guthrie reportedly will make $7 million a year each

  • Their combined salaries are still less than Matt Lauer's deal

  • A source says the wage gap reflected that Lauer had been at NBC for 25 years, meanwhile Kotb has been working for NBC as a correspondant for 20 years and as a co-host for the 4th hour of the Today show for 10 years

  • Megyn Kelly is now the highest paid anchor on NBC with a deal from anywhere between $15-20 million

  • Lauer was fired in November after reports that he had been using his position on the Today show to pressure co-workers into sexual relationships as well as accusations of sexual harassment and rape

Jesse Williams is suing his ex-wife for joint physical custody of their kids, claiming she did not allow him to see the kids on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

But don't worry - he didn't spend the holidays home alone, waiting for the phone to ring to talk to his kids. The actor spent his winter break on a trip to Brazil, where it's high summer, living it up in Pernambuco, chilling on paradisiac beaches, riding jet skis, and partying at a SEVEN-DAY New Year's bash with models and friends, which only ended on January 2nd.

Jesse travelled on a private jet to Brazil and according to Brazilian media arrived on 26 December. (Some fan sites claim he arrived on the 30th but OP could not verify). Then he reportedly took a private helicopter to Carneiros, a trendy beach spot in Pernambuco. The actor rented a house with friends. That, plus the fact that Americans need a visa to #cometobrazil, points to this trip being planned for a long time.

Other celebs who spent the holiday in Carneiros to go the same New Year's extravaganza as Jesse include Victoria's Secret models Toni Garrn (Leo's ex), Bruna Lírio, Gizele Oliveira, Mariane Fonseca, plus Grace Mahary, Imann Hamman, Melodie Monrose, Svvetlana Zarkhrova, and Sofia Resing.

On 2nd January, the actor left Pernambuco and went to Rio de Janeiro.He went to the beach and today had lunch at the exclusive Fasano restaurant. He's still in Brazil.

After debuting on Channel 4, comedy 'The End of The F**king World' is out this Friday January 5th on Netflix.

It stars Alex Lawther (Black Mirror) and Jessica Barden (The Lobster) as the heroes, with Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones) and Wunmi Mosaku (Damilola Our Loved Boy) as detectives chasing them. Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks sat down with the New York Times to promote their new movie “The Post.”

During the interview, Meryl Streep was asked how she felt about people expecting a response from her about the Harvey Weinstein accusations.

Meryl Streep said, “I don’t have a Twitter thing or – handle, whatever. And I don’t have Facebook. I really had to think. Because it really underlined my own sense of cluelessness, and also how evil, deeply evil, and duplicitous, a person he was, yet such a champion of really great work.”

She also thinks that people should be asking Ivanka and Melania Trump why they have remained silent, saying “I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump. I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say.”

-Once again these two very different, independent women are lumped together as a package deal because Betty & Veronica is a classic duo yadda yadda, OP is shocked they even got individual covers
-They mostly talk sex because it's Cosmo of course
-Cami doesn't like when people equate sex with giving someone "everything" because sex isn't everything, love and intimacy are more important and harder to give away (ia tbh)
-In regards to their characters:

CAMILA: “I want to see [Veronica] challenged—I want to see her at her breaking point… I love strong characters and they’re fun to play, but I think we’ve seen a lot of strong Veronica. It would be interesting to see her in a different light. I want to see her weak and defeated. I want to see her fail.”



LILI: “I want to see [Betty] have a good time. Maybe not having phone calls on the reg with a serial killer, you know? I want her to let her hair down—and not just as a reaction to being depressed and stressed out. Betty didn’t even do [Riverdale’s fictional party drug] Jingle Jangle… I also want to see her explore her sexuality. She never gets to—she’s always stressed! Poor girl.”
