Amanda Bynes will return to acting in 2018

  • After staying out of the spotlight since 2013, Amanda Bynes plans to return to acting this upcoming year.

  • Her lawyer says, "In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback."

  • She says, "I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on a show that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of in the future."

  • She has been sober for 3 years, and she has been taking classes at L.A.’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

  • Her first interview in 4 years was on Good Morning America this summer, and she said that she's "doing great" and has been spending her time hiking, taking spinning classes, feeding the homeless, and feeling a desire to return to TV. (Interview at the source.)

Showtime releases next episode of Shameless early

-So the show wouldn't be on a two week hiatus for the holidays, Showtime has released the next episode of Shameless via their app a few days before it will premiere on its regular time on 12/31.
-8.08 titled "Frank's Northern Southern Express" was directed by series star Emmy Rossum.
-Showtime will also have a marathon of the entire show for the weekend.

  • Diane Kruger recently opened up about her past relationships, saying she "made a lot of compromises."

  • She said, "There are certain things I won't accept anymore. I think when you're in a long-term relationship, you start making excuses, and you're making a lot of compromises - which obviously you need to make to make things work - but I think there are certain things that I've learned I don't want to accept anymore ... The older I get, it's about focusing on the people that I have left: my mom, my brother, my grandfather and my boyfriend. I just want to be present in my life and not try to project so much into the future."

  • Last year, she split from Joshua Jackson after 10 years together. She is currently dating Norman Reedus.

  • She says, "Being too comfortable freaks me out, so I like the idea of doing new things ... Is Pauley Perrette leaving ‘NCIS’ because of Mark Harmon's dog?

Rumor has it that Pauley Perrette, who will be leaving NCIS in May decided to do so because of Mark Harmon's dog.
Harmon rescued a pitbull a few years ago and frequently brings him on set.
The pitbull attached a crew member last year which resulted in him getting 16 stitches, but in the end the crew member was blamed for "playing rough" with the dog.
Perrerre felt that after the incident, someone else might get hurt by the dog and shared her concerned with the show bosses, but they sided with Harmon, who is also a producer on the show. So she decided to leave the show.
Perrette said her statement when her leaving the show was announced that she decided to leave the show last year, which fits with the timeline of the dog attack.
Perrette would have left last season if producers didn't agree to her terms. She told her bosses that she wouldn't be on set with the dog around since she felt anxious around it around so they separated her and Harmon. They haven't shared a single scene this entire season so far and haven't been on set at the same time.

Mayim Bialik opened up about her experience with a mother’s support group following the birth of her first child, revealing she left the meeting in tears.

“When I was a new mom, 13 years ago, I went to a ‘mom’s group’ at a local retail store. I instantly felt out of place. I used cloth diapers. I didn’t use pacifiers or bottles. I didn’t have fancy clothes and neither did my baby. I didn’t have a manicure. I mean, I barely had time to shower. How was I gonna have time to get a manicure?
Everything was a competition. These were not my people. I left in tears. Moms are so competitive! Why is that? Is it because we’re just catty and combative by nature? Is it because we’re bored and we have nothing better to do?
I think that competition comes about because we are the first generation of women who were raised after the revolutionary turmoil of the women’s movement and were the first generation who was constitutionally raised to believe that we can and should do it all.
Let's get back to a model of camaraderie that reduces competition, fosters friendship and empathy and increases the success of a society that is built on the foundation principles of woman-to-woman support, which has sustained our species for so long, so well. We can only do this together."

T-Pain posted a "remix" version of Post Malone's hit song, "Rock Star," and then clarified on twitter that it's actually the original track.




Joey Bada$$ chimed in to confirm he ghost wrote the track.










The song still sucks but I thought this was interesting given how often ghostwriting is seen as controversial in hip hop. Favourite Joey Badass song?

-Police were called, Lu hit and kicked the officers before allegedly telling them I'm going to fucking kill all of you to which lead to charges of battery of an officer.

It's December which means it's IJGB (I Just Got Back) season so Lagos is full of your favourite Nigerian, British-Nigerian & American-Nigerian celebs and Atlanta strippers.


John Boyega made a surprise appearance at Christmas Day screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi at a Lagos cinema.


Then spent the rest of his week living his best life in true Faaji style, joined by Gbenga Akinnagbe and Hunger Game's Dayo Okeniyi.

Wizkid held a number of concerts over the festive period inluding Wiz on The Beach and The 'Homecoming' in Lagos where he brought out a bunch of of special guests including Tekno, Wande Cole, Burna Boy, Maleek Berry & Skepta. He ended the show by bringing out Davido, officially ending their years long feud.

Drake also tried to get into the IJGB action, teaming up with Tekno in the studio. How long do you think until Drake does a show in Lagos?


Also special mention to Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua who while not being in Lagos this year, managed to make opening a bottle of Supermalt with your teeth look sexy?

Call of Duty fans stay trash, get an innocent man killed

A 28-year old man from Witchita, Kansas is dead today after a "swatting" prank brought on by two childish Call of Duty fans.

"Swatting" is the act of calling 911 into sending police to another persons address where they assume crimes are occuring. Anything from murder to bomb threats have been used and many of the most famous cases over the past several years are due to video games. Cases of swatting can be tried as federal crimes.

In this case, police were notified of a murder and hostage situation occuring at the man's home. When he opened his front door to see why cops had his house surrounded, an officer shot him. The man did not have a gun on him, did not have a criminal record, or even played video games according to his family. He later died at the hospital.

The incident occured after two fueding CoD fans got into it after one lost a bet against the other. Threats were made and one player gave the other a false address.

The officer is on administative leave and police are still investigating the case.

Activision, CoD's publisher, has yet to comment.
