DINA DRUNK DIALED THERAPY SESSION

Lindsay Lohan's mother has been banned from participating in her rehab treatment after a drunken phone call a few weeks ago ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us shortly before Lindsay's birthday, July 2, Cliffside rehab facility got Dina on the phone -- so LiLo could have a conversation with her.

But we're told the person from the clinic who spoke to Dina believed she was hammered, and quickly nixed the idea of letting her speak to Lindsay.

Furthermore, we're told the rehab team felt it would be best for LiLo's treatment if she stopped talking to Dina altogether for the rest of her stay.

Good luck, Oprah.

Attempts to reach Dina were unsuccessful.

The best thing that could happen to Lindsay's recovery would be for this worthless pretender of a mother to choke on her own vomit.

"Glee" star: Why I'll Miss Mr. Cool, Cory Monteith
By Charice, special to CNN

(CNN) -- Friendship is not defined by the length of time two people share together. One defining moment is all it takes for two individuals to call each other friends.

Cory Monteith's life, short as it was, taught me that lesson. His death, sudden as it was, taught me that lesson.

The defining moment of our friendship happened the third time I joined the cast of "Glee" for yet another memorable shooting experience as Sunshine Corazon. At the set, Cory was cool. Like his character Finn Hudson, Cory was so cool that everything seemed alright with him.

I was a tad emotional when the clock struck 12 midnight -- not because I was tired -- but because May 10 was my birthday. And I, a girl from the barrio of Gulod in the far-flung Philippines, was alone in America. I remember the last time I shot for "Glee," it was May 9, 2011. It was a long shooting day that swelled into the wee hours of the following morning.

My family was not there, my friends were not there, I didn't have my loved ones there to celebrate my birthday. It didn't help that we all still had a long way to go on that day at the set of "Glee."

But Cory came to the rescue, just in time, with his sweet greeting: "Happy birthday, Charice!" A big smile crossed his handsome face. There was sincerity in his tone as he gave me a tight hug. He became family to me at that moment.

In the remaining hours of our shoot, Cory told me he had Googled me and found my date of my birth. Cool Cory's act of kindness. He told other members of the "Glee" cast that it was my birthday and I was floored at how many of them greeted me with their warm birthday wishes.

My body felt cold when I learned about his death. Too soon, too early, too young. I never thanked Cory enough for that one moment in time when he made me feel like family. I never thanked him enough for making me happy on that lonely day.

Cory has many fans in the Philippines. In my silence, I mourn with so many of them.

Finn was big in my country because "Glee" was big among the many young people in the Philippines. The Filipino people love him because we are a musically-inclined nation and we know how to appreciate real talent. We know how to love real talent.

Many of my Filipino friends ask me what will happen to "Glee" now that Finn is gone. I have no answer to their query. But I lovingly ask them to pray for him -- for his peaceful passing.

I am confident he's singing with the angels now. I am more than confident that his suave style, his cool attitude about everything will endear him more to his new-found winged friends in the afterlife.

To his fans around the world who mourn his passing, I am with you. I know how it feels. Let's hold each other's hand. Let's remember Cory and continue to celebrate his music, his craft, his life. He will forever be in our hearts.

I wish I could also embrace Cory's loved ones -- his family and friends, his girlfriend Lea Michele. I will pray for all of you, too.

Thank you, Mr. Cool. My grateful heart will always miss you -- especially so on my birthday.

Thank you.

Spanish clothing brand Mango have released a brand new image of model Miranda Kerr from their forthcoming Autumn Winter 2013 campaign.

Looking as chic as ever the new campaign shot sees Miranda seated, showing off a more relaxed style – miles away from her usually perfectly polished appearance. The model mum is seen styling a checked shirt over a classic white T-shirt with ripped jeans and flatform loafers. We’re lusting after the chic navy blazer which complements Miranda’s casual look.

The image follows on from Miranda’s most recent summer campaign, in which she wowed in a range of cute dresses and holiday wear. This is Miranda’s second season modeling for Mango, following in the footsteps of fellow model Kate Moss and actress Penelope Cruz.

If this is a taster of what we can expect from Mango this winter, we can’t wait to see more!

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus call off divorce for the second time

Miley Cyrus' parents Billy Ray and Tish have called off their divorce. Maybe his Achy Breaky Heart was too much for her, who knows.

Tish had filed papers asking for a legal separation in June citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split, but now the couple have decided to save their marriage after dealing with their issues in couples therapy. Tish revealed she and Billy Ray are giving their relationship another chance to E!'s Ken Baker, who revealed: 'I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realized they love each other and decided they want to stay together. They recently went into couples therapy, something they hadn't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought them closer together and really opened up their communication in amazing ways.'

Tish has been 'energized' by the therapy sessions and is delighted she and Billy Ray - who have been married for 19 years - are staying together and are not going to become another casualty couple. Ken added: 'She also said marriage can be really hard ... and admitted they've had rough times. But they both realized they didn't want to be another statistic and want to make it work. They went into the therapy with the goal of divorcing in a way that was healthy for the children, but ended up coming out of it with the realization that they in fact want to stay together. Tish sounds happy and energized about having this fresh start.'

This is the second time the couple have called off a divorce. In March 2011, Billy Ray filed for a legal separation but changed his mind after deciding he didn't want to break up his family. His reason at the time was that Miley's fame had put too much stress on the family.

Box office disappointments have industry worried about future of blockbusters

$

The heat has been turned up on Hollywood studios this summer.
gipsy danger

After several high-profile tentpole movies in a row — “White House Down,” “The Lone Ranger” and “Pacific Rim” — tanked at the box office, industry watchers are nervous that the blockbuster model is nearing a tipping point.

“These are films are fall into formulas that have been successful in other iterations,” says Ira Deutchman, chair of the film program at Columbia University.

“I think that it is a sign that the formula that Hollywood thought was going to always work for them is reaching its limitations.

“Too many studios, too many filmmakers are chasing the same audience with same formula — tons of effects and explosions — and people are getting burned out.”

This summer has also been chock full of movies that critics and moviegoers have agreed are not worth the price of the popcorn.

Take “The Lone Ranger,” a $200 million adaptation of a Western character last relevant in pop culture in the ‘50s from the television series starring Clayton Moore.

“Even before ‘The Lone Ranger’ came out, it's not exactly like the entire culture has been clamoring for a new ‘Lone Ranger’ movie,” says Robert Thompson, director of Syracuse University’s Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture. “ I'm 54 and Lone Ranger seems stodgy to me . I don't know that we should draw too many conclusions from these particular failures.”

But what’s particularly damning is that the three straight busts over the past three weeks were all non-sequels, including attempts to startnew franchises with “original” stories with “Lone Ranger” and “Pacific Rim.”

“What high profile failures do is chip away at the confidence of studios,” says Paul Dergarabedian, box office analyst for Hollywood.com.

“Every summer people decry the fact that there are too many sequels, when Hollywood tried to go the original route, it came back to bite them.”

Part of the problem is that its been a “traffic jam,” in Dergarabedian’s words, at the multiplex this summer. In May, “The Hangover Part III,” finished a distant second behind “Fast & Furious 6” — a box office battle between two movies that were chasing more or less the same demographic.

Had the R-rated comedy opened on a less crowded weekend, it likely would have enjoyed the same No. 1 bragging rights as the two previous installments in the franchise.

But during the 18-week summer season that kicked off with “Iron Man 3,” there weren’t any open slots. This Friday, Warner Brothers’ scarer “The Conjuring” is opening against Summit’s “Red 2” and Universal’s big budget “R.I.P.D.” — and a fourth major film, the animated feature “Turbo,” debuted two days earlier. There isn’t enough ticket money to go around and the $130 million “R.I.P.D.” looks to be dead on arrival, according to tracking data from Hollywood.com.

“It's one thing to budget for a blockbuster, it's another thing to market for it, and its another thing to actually bust the block,” says Thompson. “It’s not science, it’s showbiz.”

Hollywood studios, however, are not likely to panic just yet. Even though “The Lone Ranger” will end up costing Disney a projected $100 to $200 in losses, the studio is still basking in the glow of “The Avengers,” which earned $1.5 billion worldwide last year. “Iron Man 3,” which opened in May, has already added $1.2 billion in global box office to the studio coffers.

“From the first weekend in May through this past Sunday, the box office is at 12.95% ahead of last year.” says Dergarabedian. “That's the irony in all this, emotionally it feels like this summer is a bust, but on paper its not bad at all.”

Considering I've been to the movies every weekend this summer and only three have entertained me fully, yeah...I think hollywood needs to rethink their strategy.

Kim Kardashian & Kris Jenner wants to put an end to 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' reality show

Kim and Kris reportedly want to end the show

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are reportedly keen to end Keeping Up with the Kardashians on a "high note" soon.

The hugely successful reality TV series follows the lives of the Kardashian and Jenner clan, including sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, and has spawned spin-off shows including Kourtney & Kim Take New York and Khloé & Lamar.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians is now in its eighth season and according to reports, family matriarch Kris and daughter Kim are keen to end the show while it's still popular.

“It has been the biggest reality franchise of all-time. Both Kim and Kris want to make sure they end on a high note, leaving fans wanting more, rather than try and stretch the show on for another few seasons and watch it die a death,” a source told Naughty But Nice Rob. “Plus, they are now moving on in their lives… exploring new options and opportunities."

Kim and beau Kanye West recently welcomed daughter North into the world. The source added that brunette beauty Kim is eager to change up her lifestyle now she's a mother.
“Kim wants to be with her daughter and Kanye, while Kris wants to focus on being a talk show host and maybe start producing movies. She’s telling everyone that one day she will have an Oscar,” the source continued.

The Kardashian/Jenner clan have amassed significant fame and wealth from their TV series. The insider revealed that they have all made so much money "that they never need to work again."

“They want a break from the cameras — that shouldn’t be too surprising,” the source explained.

Kim has previously been vague about the show's future. The 32-year-old star addressed the subject on her blog earlier this year.

“The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey," she said.

Meanwhile, Kris was seen feuding with step-son Brody Jenner in the latest episode of the show broadcast in the US.

The star and husband Bruce were caught up in a war of words after Kris didn’t invite Brody on the family vacation to Greece.

She later made plans for her husband's son to join, explaining: "I’m not the evil stepmonster you think I am. I just want a little bit of credit."

Brody was caught on camera saying: “To hear that everyone else was invited and I wasn’t included hurt,” before asking his dad where his call was.

Bruce was seen confronting his wife about the situation, to which she retorted: “He’s busy or he flakes. I always feel like Brody’s so busy he doesn’t have time for us.”

Bruce - who is currently trying to mend the strained relationship with his son - snapped back: “Your job is to invite him.”

HuffPost TV can exclusively reveal that the actor, who spent the majority of the '90s doing sketch comedy on "Kenan and Kel" and "All That," will be back on Nickelodeon this fall on the network's new hit series "Sam and Cat."

On a fall episode of "Sam and Cat" -- which stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, respectively, as the titular characters -- Mitchell will play Peezy B, a huge rap star who hires Sam to be his assistant. But the gig causes problems for Cat, who finds babysitting much more challenging without Sam around to help.

Mitchell, who taped his episode last week, tweeted at McCurdy and Grande.

The actor has been doing a lot of voice work as of late, lending his voice to characters on Nicktoons' "Wild Grinders" and Disney XD's "Motorcity." Mitchell also recently popped up on an episode of "Good Luck Charlie" on Disney Channel.

Watch "Sam and Cat" on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon and look for Mitchell's appearance this fall.

Vampire Diaries Cast Interview at Comic Con

Kris Jenner BRIBES a TV critic with Tiffany pen.

She'd been hoping to make a name for herself as the next Oprah Winfrey until her self-titled chat show was panned by critics.

But Kris Jenner went to somewhat extreme lengths in the hope of keeping one television critic sweet.

The Kardashian matriarch shamelessly attempted to bribe New York Post reporter Linda Stasi into writing a positive review of Kris by sending her a sterling silver Tiffany pen - retailing at a price of £275 - and cupcakes.

However, unfortunately for the 57-year-old reality star, the columnist outed her sneaky move on Twitter.

Kris wrote: 'Dear Linda, Sorry you didn't like the show. I'm still a huge fan of your column. Love and blessings, Kris.'
She added: 'P.S. When you think I've improved, maybe you will write a better review with this.'

Slamming the attempted bribe as 'shockingly wrong', Linda then took to her Twitter page to spill the secret.

She tweeted: 'Does this bribe make me look fat? Kris Jenner just sent me a Tiffany pen with which to write her a better review next time! Shockingly wrong!'

'She has as much right having a talk show as her dopey daughter [Khloe Kardashian] with no talent had being a host of the X Factor,' the critic said in the video

'Horrible, horrible, boring self-involved. I couldn't bear it.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the fame-hungry matriarch's inaugural broadcast on Monday beat out Katie, Steve Harvey, and Dr. Phil in Los Angeles. In Dallas, her Fox talk show topped Ellen, Dr. Oz. and Dr. Phil.

However, Fox's The Real beat Jenner's show in the ratings for New York and Philadelphia.

The mother-of-six kicked off her new talk show with controversy as she passed off her stylist's baby for granddaughter North West in order to drum up ratings.

Remember when Bar Refaeli made out with "Walter" during the Super Bowl? [Insert gratuitous spit-swapping sound effects here.] Well, sometimes she kisses people who are not the prototypical recipient of high school bullying:

Instagram commenters were quick to break out the "lesbian" hashtag (really, people?), but we don't think that's necessary. Love is love, and we're happy to watch Bar play tongue hockey with whomever she wants.
