The wanted have revealed that viewers of their E! reality show The Wanted Life will be the first to hear a sneaky preview of their new single ‘We Own The Night’ during the series finale.

Confirming details for their next song the band tweeted on Friday “It's been a great season of #TheWantedLife & we wanted to make the finale extra special so watch to hear a preview #WeOwnTheNight." (sic)

But it will be US fans that get to hear it first when it airs tonight on American TV at 10pm EST. Fear not UK Wanted die hards, you’ll be able to see it tomorrow evening at 9pm.

Manager Scooter Braun, who also represents Justin Beiber, says the song is a party anthem telling E! “We just scheduled the music video to be shot next week. The new single is an anthem for every single house party, bar or great house party anyone has ever been to in their entire lives."

The band has made it big in America with a whole legion of US fans and even won a People’s Choice Award for Favourite Breakout Artist.

But England is where their hearts are with Max George dating TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh.

She recently told us “"It is very very early days. I'm going to keep it private until I know what's going to happen in the future."

We’re taking a look back at a number of celebrities who donned hoodies as a call for justice for Trayvon Martin.

Hoodies have become symbolic in the investigation of the unarmed boy’s death because the 17-year-old was wearing one when George Zimmerman found him “suspicious” and killed him in a Sanford, Fla., neighborhood.

Since then, social networks have been bombarded with pictures and trending topics calling for #JusticeForTrayvon and asking people to wear hoodies in his memory with the hastag #HoodiesForTrayvon or #MillionHoodies.

Entertainers, athletes and even members of Congress have all joined in the so-called million hoodies march.

THAT'S A "FIRST": Clear Channel's Pop station websites nationwide and iHeartRadio will host the exclusive world premiere of "First Time" by the Jonas Brothers on July 17, marking the launch of Clear Channel's new video initiative. The song, the lead track from the group's forthcoming fifth album, is being spearheaded at radio by Richard Palmese, Denise George and the In2une promo team—and is seeing more action at the format as an indie release (on Jonas Enterprises) than the band did as a major-label act. In fact, it's the fastest-breaking Jonas single ever, one of radio's most added tracks every week since its bow three weeks ago. The video, by the way, features footage of the brothers at the Miss USA competition.

House Knowles Post: Solange Holds Trayvon Rally + Bey In Houston

Beyonce stopped her concert for a moment of silence in the wake of George Zimmerman's not guilty verdict.

And now her sister Solange Knowles has used the message once spoken by human rights activist Malcolm X to express her outrage after Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.

With her miniature braids falling to her knees, the 27-year-old entertainer held the rally on Sunday at Borough Hall in Brooklyn, New York.

Solange held a plaque between her hands which quoted Malcolm X's words: 'I'm for truth, no matter who tells it. I'm for justice, no matter who it's for or against.'

She remained somber and calm while speaking in front of a crowd that numbered in the hundreds.

Solange wore cut-off denim shorts and a plain navy T-shirt, along with patterned oxfords and virtually no make-up.

'Seeing & gathering with people today/tonight all for the same fight helped to restore my faith in humanity...,' Solange tweeted.

Earlier in the evening, Solange gave out a big hug to all who showed up at the rally.

'Thank you to everyone who came out to support #Bklyn4trayvon rally! This was just a start to a long journey of Justice and Equality!' Solange wrote.

Beyonce deserved a little retail therapy after the busy week she had.

The 31-year-old singer, whose net worth is estimated to be $300 million, must have given shoppers quite the surprise when she breezed into Target department store in Houston, Texas a day ahead of her scheduled concert.

Beyonce must have a closet full of accessories, but was in the mood for more as she made a beeline for the hats.

The entertainer, who's been on a relentless pace for her Mrs. Carter Show world tour, was seen trying on a few selections including a couple of wide-brimmed versions.

Beyonce was no doubt in low-profile mode wearing dark shades, black mini-skirt and T-strap sandals.

Her fabulous golden-highlighted hair was loose and tousled around her shoulders, and she didn't seem to care if it got messy from the constant trying on of chapeaux.

Beyonce appeared to have a trolley that already had several items placed in it.

It's widely known that Target is one of Beyonce's favourite stores and has staged publicity events with the chain for previous albums.

Kris Jenner pulled out the big guns for her talk show premiere -- 'cause Kim Kardashian's baby North West will make its debut ... is what she wants you to believe -- BUT TMZ KNOWS IT'S NOT!

Kris' show posted a photo on Twitter and Facebook ... of herself cuddling an infant, with the message ... "You never know who will stop by our show today #WatchKris"

This would be the first public shot of North since her birth -- but we smelled a rat.  And guess what?  After some digging we found out the baby is owned by a hair and makeup person on the set.

Kanye West and Kim have been pretty clear about NOT wanting their baby in the spotlight.

Dave Matthews found stranded on side of road by fan

What would you say if you were driving to a Dave Matthews Band concert and saw Dave Matthews stranded on the side of the road?

That's just what happened to Emily Kraus and her boyfriend, who spotted Matthews as they were traveling to his concert in Hershey, Pa., on Saturday.

"We saw him on the other side of the road and we pulled my car in here," Kraus told CBS' WHP-TV affiliate. "And he picks up his bike and throws it up here."

Matthews was on a preshow bicycle ride when his bike broke down.

"I did not have a cell phone on the bicycle. So I thought, 'S---," Matthews told the audience later at Hersheypark Stadium. "And then a nice lady named Emily rode up in a red car with a bicycle rack on it and gave me a ride on to the gig."

Needless to say, the 7-minute ride to the show was a bit surreal for Kraus with, you know, Dave Matthews in the back seat.

"We didn't know how to make conversation with him in fact, so we were talking about his tour and where he had come from," Kraus said. "He had just been in Cincinnati and he said 'I'm taking a short break after this one because I have to drop my daughters off at camp.' He was just a very humble guy."

The 46-year-old Grammy-winning singer-songwriter invited the pair to dinner and gave them backstage passes and memories that will last a lifetime—or at least until they pick up another stranded rock star.

"My cheeks still hurt from smiling, giggling and laughing all night long," Kraus wrote on Facebook.

Matthews also signed their tickets with a note: "Thanks for the ride."

"I woke up this morning, and I rolled over and I said, 'OK, yeah that really happened yesterday," she said. "It was surreal. We couldn't believe it."

Claire Danes Covers 'Vogue' August 2013

Claire Danes rocks a trench coat on the cover of Vogue magazine’s August 2013 issue.

Here is what the 34-year-old Homeland actress, photographed alongside co-star Damian Lewis, had to share with the mag:

On attending the Golden Globes as a new mom:“I went on the red carpet, went upstairs, fed Cyrus. Went into the ceremony, got the award, went back to feed Cyrus, went out again. . . . Then it was ‘Now you meet the president.’ I had these new boobs; I’m wearing a big Jessica Rabbit dress, and I’d been living in sweat pants for so long. . . . It was strange. It was dreamy, surrounded by my parents and my husband. It was one of the best nights of my life because of this perfect mash-up.”

On today’s female movie stars:“I’m so impressed by Jennifer Lawrence and Carey Mulligan. They have this exquisite taste. They are very gifted in their ability to make great choices. I didn’t have that rudder. There’s the movie star that plays herself and the movie star like Meryl [Streep] that has this wonderful, glamorous persona intact and is undone every time she takes on a new character. I think I’m astounded and titillated by that.”

On not getting work after Temple Grandin:“I was stuck… It was confusing. I got a lot of plaudits, and it didn’t translate into more work. I was really, really struggling during that time. It was grim. I was very hurt. Two years of not working was brutal. And a point came where I thought, I really like interior design. Someone suggested, ‘Maybe your real success is in your personal life.’”

Last photo taken of Cory Monteith before his death

Cory Monteith dined at a Vancouver restaurant and was photographed during his meal, apparently relaxed and enjoying the company of others, just over 24 hours before he died.

Monteith had dinner at Vancouver’s East of Main Café with Maureen Webb, a British Columbia-based casting agent, and Elena Kirschner, his manager, during which a photo was posted on Twitter showing him in the shadows of the venue.

“Great meal with good friends,” Kirschner wrote as the caption for the photo. The Glee star later re-tweeted the missive and used the image as his post picture on his own Twitter page.

“We are deeply saddened by the unexpected death of our good friend, Cory Monteith,” Webb, the co-founder of Project Limelight Society, a Vancouver charity close to the actor’s heart, told RadarOnline.com.

“Cory was an amazing young man with a generous heart. Our heart goes out to his family, fans and close friends. Cory was a friend and will be dearly missed.”

During the dinner, Monteith “looked so good, so healthy,” Webb added. “I hadn’t seen him look that good in a long time.”

She said no one drank alcohol at the catch-up.

There were unconfirmed reports Monteith, 31, had partied at the Roxy Nightclub and The Queen’s Republic Nightclub in the hours before his death, however, both venues would not confirm to RadarOnline.com if was there.

Cops are investigating whether drugs were at the center of the tragic and sudden death and an autopsy will take place on Monday to determine the official cause and manner of death.

He died alone in the 21st floor room of the Vancouver Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel sometime in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Kirstie Alley 'Livid' With Leah Remini For Leaving Church Of Scientology

Actress and Church of Scientology member Kirstie Alley reportedly has it out for Leah Remini now that the former "King of Queens" star has severed ties with the Xenu institution.

Last week, news first broke that Remini quit Scientology following years of interrogations and thought modifications. The probing came after she allegedly questioned Scientology leader David Miscavige, the church's practices and the disappearance of Miscavige's wife, Shelly. The 43-year-old CBS star was one of Scientology's most famous members, having been involved with the group for some three decades and having defended it publicly on previous occasions.

Scientology journalist and former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega claims Alley was "livid" with Remini for leaving. He pinned multiple tweets posted by the "Manzanis" star to the issue.

"Our sources tell us that Alley worked the phones that day, raising a stink with the personnel at the Hollywood Celebrity Centre — what were church officials going to do about Remini’s defection?" Ortega wrote. "A meeting was called for Alley and other celebrities to get a briefing from church executives about what was going on and what they planned to do about it."

The meeting was allegedly held at the home of longtime Scientologist Melinda Brownstone, who was one of Remini's best friends until they had a falling out in 2008. Alley tweeted about being at Brownstone's house just days after the first report of Remini's exit surfaced.

Alley has been a staunch defender of Scientology and some of its high-profile members. Last year, she credited the religion with freeing her from cocaine addiction. She said she found Scientology through a friend who sent her the cornerstone book, Dianetics by founder L. Ron Hubbard, while she was battling drug abuse.

"Somehow I got through [the book], and I thought either [Scientology] is the world's biggest scam or I thought this is how I am going to get rid of this hideous compulsion," she told "Entertainment Tonight."

Confirming her decision to leave Scientology, Remini released a statement July 11 thanking fans and the media for their support.

'Veronica Mars' Gets Book Series Spin-Off

$

Rob Thomas will help develop a two-book "Veronica Mars" series that will pick up where the story of the forthcoming movie ends, with publication by Vintage set for spring 2014.

Vintage Books has signed Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas and Alloy Entertainment to a two-book deal to publish a new series of stories based on the adult life of the popular character.

The books will be an original mystery series featuring a grown-up Veronica Mars and characters from the series.

The plot will pick up where events of the forthcoming Veronica Mars movie, slated for a 2014 release, end. Publication of the first book will be timed to the release of the movie and will likely arrive in spring 2014. Thomas will develop and co-write the series.

“I started my career as a novelist. Veronica Mars was first imagined as a novel. I'm thrilled that I'm going to get the opportunity to continue telling Veronica Mars stories in a form I've loved and missed,” said the writer-director, whose other credits include cult hit Party Down and work on 90210 and Dawson's Creek.

The Veronica Mars movie drew widespread attention earlier this year when Thomas' Kickstarter campaign to raise seed money for a feature film version of the 2004-07 TV series raced past its original goal of $2 million in days, raising more than $5 million in total.

Thomas will work with Alloy Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. Television Group, on the books. Alloy is the company behind the development of such bestselling YA books series as Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

The Veronica Mars books represents something of an inversion of Alloy's usual process, which has been nurturing hit book series and helping turn them into popular TV shows.

The teaming of Thomas' creative flair, Alloy's expertise in developing YA series and Vintage's publishing strength is promising. The book series will stand on its own but will also help cross-promote the movie and could also serve as a bridge to a potential movie sequel.

Vintage editor Andrea Robinson expressed enthusiasm for the project: “Veronica Mars has always been a one-of-a-kind character, and, as a longtime fan of the series, I've always thought there is an immense amount of story left to be told. Our goal for the book series is to appeal to fans of the show, but also to appeal to mystery readers and lovers of series featuring strong, intriguing female protagonist. Veronica Mars is a contemporary update to the tradition of noir crime fiction that was established by Vintage’s Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler, so it's exciting that we'll also publish her here."

Jodi Reamer at Writer House negotiated the deal on behalf of Thomas and Alloy.

Robinson acquired the books for Vintage, an imprint of the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, which is a division of Penguin Random House, on the deal.

Comic-Con 2013: EXCLUSIVE! We Know Who Marvel Wants As ‘Doctor Strange’!

by El Mayimbe

Good morning everyone!

I’m getting out of Dodge and on my way to Comic Con this morning but before I leave town, how about a MASSIVE Marvel movie scoop!

Let’s get the Comic Con party officially poppin’ with the HOTTEST casting rumor going into the con!

You know, it’s funny. I seen all sorts of Doctor Strange casting stories around the net and they GOT THEM ALL WRONG!

Sorry kids, it ain’t gonna be John Harrison/Khan, Benedict whatever his name is. Hell no!

Latino-Review.com head honcho Kellvin Chavez went out and found out and according to trusted sources, the “rumor”, yes I said rumor going around Marvel Studios is that they want…

JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT!

Now at press time, we are not saying that an offer has been made, that talks have even engaged and who knows, Levitt and his team are probably unaware, BUT we are hearing that Marvel execs internally are discussing that Levitt is who they figure would be ideal.

Based upon what I know of the story details, an awesome choice. Levitt’s career is on absolute FIRE at the moment, his directorial debut Don Jon drops later this fall, and he is the right age (32). In the current draft of the script by Oppenheimer and Donnelly, the Sorcerer Supreme is written for someone in their early 30s. Levitt has both the charm and also the swagger the script currently demands. That and the fact that Levitt is one of the more likeable actors in town.

Again, an awesome casting choice, and in my book just the right pedigree of actor that Marvel usually goes for.

I hope Marvel gets him because that would indeed be very dope!

What do you think ONTD? Yes/no?

Rembrandt van Rijn Honored With Google Doodle

Google is celebrating the 407th birthday of artist Rembrandt van Rijn with a homepage doodle that pays homage to an oil on canvas painting from 1659.
Google.com today features a darkened background with Rembrandt's self portrait - known as "Self-Portrait with Beret and Turned-Up Collar" - in front of the logo.

According to the National Gallery of Art, which has housed the self portrait since 1937, Rembrandt painted this self portrait after he'd been forced to sell many of his possessions to pay off debts.

"Early descriptions of the painting therefore mentioned an aura of melancholy surrounding the artist, yet the removal of dark, discolored varnish in 1992 proved that interpreting paintings on the basis of an artist's chronological life story is dangerous: the cleaned portrait revealed a rich range of pinks and bright flesh tones, forcing a reassessment of Rembrandt's 'mood,'" according to the gallery. "Instead of sadness, the deep–set eyes that bore into those of the viewer seem to express inner strength and dignity."

Rembrandt's self portrait was reportedly inspired by a Raphael portrait he saw at a 1639 auction in Amsterdam.
The artist was born in 1606 and relocated to Amsterdam in 1631, where he set up a studio in the office of art dealer Hendrick van Uylenburgh, according to a biography from the Getty Museum. He became well-known for his portraits. "The core of Rembrandt's oeuvre, however, consists of biblical and—to a much lesser extent—historical, mythological, and allegorical "history pieces," all of which he painted, etched, or sketched in pen and ink or chalk," according to Encyclopedia Britannica.

Later in life, Rembrandt ran into financial troubles, but he was still a sought-after artist. He died in 1669.

Kim Kardashian Ripped For Saying ‘No Justice’ In Trayvon Martin Trial: ‘Your Dad Was OJ’s Lawyer’

Kim Kardashian is under attack for weighing in on the controversial Travyon Martin murder case verdict with many people outraged that she tweeted “no justice” as a hash tag when her father helped O.J. Simpson get acquitted in his criminal trial for double murder.

George Zimmeran was found not guilty of all charges in the killing of Martin and while that verdict generated outrage there was also some spillover to Kim because of her comment.

“My heart goes out to Trayvon Martin’s family & loved ones. Thought & prayers being sent their way. #nojustice,´ the 32-year-old reality star wrote on Twitter shortly after the verdict.

However, the backlash was swift with people slamming her own father, Robert Kardashian, for his part as the defense team that helped get OJ Simpson acquitted of the murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1995.

“Kim Kardashian tweeted earlier “#nojustice” about the Trayvon case, but her dad was one of the attorneys that got OJ acquitted of murder,” one person pointed out on Twitter.

Robert was part of the “Dream Team” that helped OJ win a not guilty verdict in the trial, but years later even he questioned his client’s innocence.

“I have doubts,” Robert told ABC News. : “The blood evidence is the biggest thorn in my side.”

The attacks continued against Kim for her dad’s participation in the polarizing trial.

“Kim Kardashian tweets in support of Trayvon when her own father helped get OJ Simpson acquitted. This country is full of so many idiots,” another person slammed.

News Outlets Swarm Kate's Hospital

Ask television news executives how long they have been planning for the royal baby’s arrival, and they’re liable to answer with a joke: nearly as long as Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have been.

Thanks to their plans, the birth, whenever it happens — any day now, if the tabloids are to be believed — will be a spectacle unlike any other in the modern media age, complete with sweeping helicopter shots of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, and Buckingham Palace.“This is probably the most anticipated birth since the dawn of Twitter,” said Jon Williams, the foreign editor for ABC News.

When Prince William and his brother Harry were born in the 1980s, tweets were just sounds made by birds and 24-hour news channels were a novelty. In the 30 years since, media companies have become much better at preparing for big events — sports matches, murder trials, elections, even fashion shows — and capitalizing on them through wall-to-wall coverage on television, commemorative editions of newspapers and magazines, and advertiser-supported special sections on Web sites.

Now, with Prince William’s child on the way, scores of reporters and photographers are on standby in London. ABC News has a whole royal baby section of its site sponsored by Nestlé, plus an online guest book for visitors to sign. NBC News has a site called RoyalBabyGuess.com, asking for predictions about name, birth time and weight. To make it more fun, the people whose guesses come closest might be mentioned on the “Today” show. “We’re going to do our best not to intrude and to be respectful, but also to cover it for people who are really interested,” said Mark Lukasiewicz, the senior vice president for NBC News Specials.

While news organizations will undoubtedly be criticized for spending too much time covering a famous childbirth, executives say there is ample public interest in what will most likely be the quintessential “good news” story, a reprieve of sorts after weeks of stories about the George Zimmerman trial in the United States and uprisings overseas. Not only will the birth be historically consequential, Mr. Williams said, it will also be inherently relatable because “the birth of a baby is something that every family can identify with.”

Including the long wait.

“The big news is still that there is no news,” Tom Sykes of The Daily Beast wrote on the site’s “Royal Baby Watch” live blog on Sunday. For days now, Mr. Sykes and others have been swatting away rumors about the duchess, formerly known as Kate Middleton, checking into the hospital and being in labor.

News executives say they expect to be notified when she does actually arrive, most likely through a side entrance, at the hospital. The main vantage point for camera crews is along a narrow street outside the main entrance to the private wing where the duchess will be— “a typically charming, difficult London street” as Mr. Lukasiewicz described it. With so many foreign broadcasters, including those from throughout the Commonwealth, jockeying for positions there, each news outlet has only a couple of feet of space. “So we’re going to have a narrow correspondent at that spot,” he joked.

More rumors will surely zip across social networks once the duchess is in labor, and news organizations will have to exercise caution. “We will wait for the Palace to confirm,” said Paddy Feeny, a spokesman for BBC News. “This is one announcement where guessing won’t do.”

The birth’s confirmation process is rooted in tradition, but it will be televised in high-definition, which was something else that didn’t exist the last time there was a royal baby. The duchess’s doctors will sign a birth notice. The notice will be hand-carried to a car. The car will be driven to Buckingham Palace. Then the notice will be placed on an easel in the forecourt of the palace, informing the world of the baby’s birth and possibly his or her name.

All the while, a news helicopter belonging to the British broadcaster Sky News, whose pictures will be shared with every network, will be hovering overhead, almost as if covering a slow-speed car chase. But that’s assuming the helicopter, stationed south of the city, can get there in time. News executives expect to get five to 10 minutes notice, at most, before the car starts on its short journey. A Sky News spokeswoman, aware that the world’s news media are counting on its coverage, said she anticipates that the crew will have “enough time to get airborne.”

Sky News and the BBC will also have cameras at the palace to take close-ups of the birth notice. “We are praying for good visibility and no rain,” Mr. Feeny said.

News producers have been holding meetings with palace officials about the staging of the announcement for the last several months. “It’s gotten down to the level of detail that three minutes after the notice has been put on the easel, they’ll cut off the signal,” said one producer involved in the planning, who insisted on anonymity to protect important relationships with the palace.

That producer and several others said they had been assured that the baby’s birth would be announced only between 8 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. in London, or between 3 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in New York. Sometime later, photographers will have their chance to see the family as they leave the hospital.

Some news organizations, of course, are almost shrugging off the baby drama. CBS News, which has sought a reputation as the most serious American network news division, will depend on its reporters already in London to cover the news, a spokeswoman said.

NBC and ABC, on the other hand, are sending over anchors. The “Today” news reader Natalie Morales flew to London on Sunday. The “Good Morning America” weekend anchor Bianna Golodryga has been there for nearly a week, and she will be joined sometime soon by a regular on the weekday edition, Amy Robach. Mr. Williams said Ms. Robach will board a plane bound for London “as soon as Kate goes into the hospital.”
