Both these women have broke boundaries during their time. They built their legacies selling out numerous performances and became icons for future entertainers.

“I was just a little girl in the body of a woman, dancing and being happy,” Chacón said. “But it was a difficult decade. Because in the decade of the 70’s women were still conservative in their dress, and men were authoritarian and machista. There had never been in Puerto Rico a Vedette [a French word meaning a multi-talented dancer] with my style.”


Hailing from Puerto Rico, she became known for her glamorous style, ample butt, and backup male dancers. Iris took the television world by storm. She found success in business accomplishments and has continued to perform for fans to this day.

The beautiful Cameron Russell announced via Instagram/her latest public appearence that she's expecting her first child with her boo.

She most recently spoke at the Glamour Women of the Year Summit, talking about her experience with sexual harassment, recounting a few of her painful experiences in an effort to inspire other women.

- A casting agent said he couldnt book her cause she was a virgin
- One told her he couldnt be sure she was right for the job unless he saw her naked first
- She ended her speech with: "We [women] are the majority, and although we don’t always have the titles or the résumés or the wealth, what we do have is of much greater value. We have the power to make a much more livable world."

'Emo Rapper' Lil Peep Dead at 21

Lil Peep, who had recently released his debut album "Come Over When You're Sober (Part One)", has reportedly been found dead at the age of 21. The cause of death has not been officially released, but it's rumoured that he died due to an overdose. He was set to finish his US "Come Over When You're Sober" tour on November 16th.

The rapper - real name Gustav Åhr - was considered a trailblazer in the emo/rap subgenre, and belonged to the GothBoiClique collective.

He had openly struggled with addiction and mental illness. In the 24 hours proceeding his death, he posted Instagram pictures of himself taking Xanax and captioned one image "When I die You'll love me".

- According to leaked data, JL's score was 48%. A certified rotten flop.
- Now that the show is out, the score is actually 43%that mostly belongs to Wonder Woman, lbr.

Fantastic Beasts sequel gets title

The 2nd film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise will "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald".


From Pottermore.com:
We also have fresh looks at the central cast, including Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) with a new haircut, Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol) and Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), who are all confirmed to return.

There are also some new characters: Newt’s older brother, Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner), and his fiancée, Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz), who was seen in a photo in the first film.

Credence, played by Ezra Miller, is also confirmed to return, and features in the ensemble photo next to a mysterious character played by Claudia Kim. The character is known as a ‘Maledictus’: someone who suffers from a ‘blood curse’ that turns them into a beast.

Other characters from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, such as MACUSA President Seraphina Picquery (Carmen Ejogo), will also be back for this second adventure.

As well as Grindelwald and Dumbledore, other familiar names to Harry Potter fans are set to appear in the new film too, including alchemist Nicolas Flamel – first mentioned in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Joss Whedon has liked several tweets criticizing Steppenwolf, the villain of the new 'Justice League' film that he took over from Zack Snyder. One tweet he liked came from 'Vanity Fair' and said "Steppenwolf is the worst comic book movie villain of all time and not even Malekith the Accursed (from Thor: The Dark World) comes close."

As a result he's gotten some flack from fans and the situation has been compared to Josh Trank tweeting out criticism of the 'Fantastic Four' film he directed before the movie came out.

pixar's coco is breaking box office records in mexico

+ Pixar's new animated film "Coco" has been released only in Mexico so far. It debuted on October 27th just in time for Dia de Muertos and has taken in 824 million pesos so far — or $43.1 million dollars.




+ In just 19 days it's expected to pass the mark of 827 million pesos grossed by “The Avengers” during its entire run in 2012. It also destroyed "Thor Ragnarok" in the box office battle and has held the #1 spot for three consecutive weeks.
+ "Coco" also broke two other records and it's now the #1 animated film in Mexican history ("Toy Story 3" held the record) and the movie with the most tickets sold overall with more than 17 million people in attendance ("Minions" was the former #1).


+ Additionally, director Lee Unkrich has stated that the film will be available with the original Mexican dub + English subtitles and English dub with Spanish subtitles in selected venues in the US.


+ The film is also retaining the Latin American dub for the release in Spain.




+ “Coco” opens Nov. 22 in the U.S., followed by China on Nov. 23, and Russia on Nov. 24. The film is currently rated at 96% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
