I don't mean to step on the toes of klutzy_girl or babarsuhail but I just finished the 300th episode and I'm bursting to talk about it!!!


A hacker compromises the hospital’s computer system, causing monitors, phones, labs and patient files to all go down. As technology fails them, Bailey attempts to keep the peace but chaos erupts and the doctors are forced to get creative in their methods to treat the patients

Opinions on the 300th episode? I thought the music was a great tribute to songs from important Grey's moments over the seasons. I got a bit choked up at the very end with that cameo in the gallery. There are a lot of problems I have, making DeLuca the new McDreamy isn't one of them...I'd love more of him! How qt was adolescent Zola?! And her Maggie interaction ♥ . I even kind of liked George, Cristina and Izzie 2.0, it was a nice tribute. The thing that bugged me the most was...Meredith winning the Harper Avery. It was a nice full circle moment...but didn't Cristina leave because she couldn't win a Harper Avery at an Avery funded hospital!? Now they don't care anymore??? Or because Harper is dead Catherine can award it to them without conflict of interest? Idgi and ugh. Also while I don't mind DeLuca becoming more prominent idc about new interns. I just hope they were there for this ep to show how far Mer/Alex have come. BUT I LOVED Bailey calling out Ben for his commitment issues. He's a grown up. Get it fucking together mate.

Grazia UK edited photos of Lupita to remove and smooth out her natural hair. The actress took to Instagram to call them out for perpetuating white eurocentric beauty standards and stand up for herself and for black women who are constantly made to feel they aren't beautiful because of their hair styles,  texture, and complexion. She shared original photos from the shoot to show the drastic differences that were made to her appearance without her consent.

The magazine claims the photographer edited the photo without any direction from Grazia, but nonetheless apologized for overlooking the error.

In my case, and in the Harvey Weinstein victims’ cases, their influence is beyond the company. It’s industry-wide. If they want to sink you, you will be sunk.”

“Early on in my tenure at Fox when I was being harassed by Ailes, I didn’t know a lot of people,” she said. “I didn’t have a lot of female friends like I did 13 years later. I did have a couple and so I would sort of stick the toe in the water with the women I knew because [Ailes] was the king. • "Run For Cover" was originally written for their third album "Day & Age" in 2008.

• Brandon wasn't happy with the second verse and couldn't get it right. So they put it aside.

• They revisited the track again but still couldn't get the lyrics right. Brandon contemplated pulling a "Mr. Brightside" and repeating the verse twice but opted to wait.

• Brandon's brother would often e-mail him to remind him about the song because he loved it that much he felt it needed to be completed and heard.

• Aussie singer Alex Cameron would be the one to finally help Brandon get "Run For Cover" right.

• The song is one (if not the first) to feature "Fake News" in its lyrics.

- Just in the last two months, over half a million Rohingya people fled their homes, had their land destroyed, and were tortured and/or raped while trying to escape
- The Rohingya are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group, and though they've lived in Myanmar's Rakhine state for centures, they've been refused citizenship and increasingly their access and rights have been restricted
- The letter is calling on world leaders gathering at the Asean summit this Friday to discuss the Rohingya crisis and what diplomatic efforts can be done to protect the Rohingya and restore their rights

Gossip Cop fact-checked a story that claimed popstar Katy Perry admitted to cannibalism in an interview on French radio:
“There is a group of old Hollywood guys who have an annual dinner party where the main dish is human… Each year a new host is selected for the following year by drawing straws.”

“It is the new host’s responsibility to provide the main course, and it has to be human. If he can’t find a suitable person to serve as the meal… the host will be eaten instead!”

Gossip Cop did a thorough investigation and they couldn't find any evidence of this interview existing on the internet.
