ITV2 premiered a cheeky new dating show that transports some sexy couples back to roman times called Bromans. On the show dude-bros and their girlfriends live together in a house acting like ancient Romans while competing for £10,000.

The New Romantic sounds like it'll be a comedy about a girl who ends up being a sugar baby. The lead actress is Jessica Barden (The Lobster, Penny Dreadful), and it looks like the film will also star Brett Dier (Jane the Virgin), Camila Mendez (Riverdale), Hayley Law (Riverdale), Avan Jogia (Victorious, Twisted), and Timm Sharp (Enlightened)
Written and directed by Carly Stone and based off this short film she also directed and wrote which was part of TIFFxInstagram Shorts Festival: That awkward moment when you wake up as... a sugar baby: GIRL WOMAN 👧🏼👩🏼 is an excellent comedic short from Writer/Director Carly Stone (@ceestones). Says Stone, "as a filmmaker, I'm inspired to tell stories about girls who can mess up without being a mess. With the rising cost of tuition, Sugar Babies are becoming more popular as ambitious students seek out ways to support themselves as they pursue their goals."

'American Horror Story: Cult' triggers little-known phobia
Promotions for AHS: Cult are triggering people with trypophobia, a fear of holes and clusters. Some of the posters for example utilize imagery similar to honeycomb or lotus flowers.
"I was having a full-blown panic attack," says one person after seeing a billboard for the show. "My pulse was racing. I was so nauseous... It's like anything else people can get upset about. People are scared of spiders, heights, clowns, and I'm scared of this. It's an actual phobia. It's real. It's definitely not a joke."
"With the media exposure from 'American Horror Story,' it's going to get worse, and people are going to try to trigger us," says another.

Venture Bros. Season 7 Premiere Promised Before Eventual Heat Death of Universe
A bumper aired out of the blue on [adult swim] last night indicating that the next season of VB will air in 422 days (November 2018).
Additionally, what many of us suspected is true: due to some kind of mix-up at the channel, the underwhelming "Red Means Stop" was not the episode Doc and Jackson intended to be the finale and that the real conclusion to the arcs in Season 6 is coming. There also won't be an in-between-seasons treat episode as in past years (the Halloween episode, All This and Gargantua-2, etc) because they wanted to pour all their efforts into making Season

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries News
- There's a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a Miss Fisher movie. The original goal was AU$ 250,000 and it was achieved on the first day. Right now they are at AU$ 351,186 and there are 27 more days to go, so the movie is definitely going to happen!
- The script has already been written. The movie will be called Miss Fisher & the Crypt of Tears and it's about Phryne going on a global adventure with "romantic wayside stops in the Far East, glamorous sojourns in the mansions of London, and a battle to survive the rolling sands of the Arabian Desert long enough to find the missing treasure, solve numerous murders and break all aviation records as she wings her way home again!"
- The production starts in mid-2018, so the movie will probably be out in late 2018 or 2019.
- They're still planning a prequel tv show.

The lack of diversity at the Oscars is because of the Industry. Studio executives need to get more interesting in young minority filmmakers getting their films out. (ex : Moonlight)
He was offered recently the lead role in an action film, and thought he was not the right guy for this part. They should have offered this part to Idris Elba. There’s no reason why this character can’t be black.
The star system has changed, people dont come to see the movie for the lead actor. Studio should take risks, have more imagination. (ex Idris Elba as James Bond)
It took him years to tackle race because he had yet to find the right project. He would rather see more minority filmmakers work their way into the industry.
He acknowledged the need for stronger female-centric projects. The business is run by a group of people who can’t see putting a 45-year-old woman as a romantic lead. They dont see them as still sexy.
He’s not hopeful about the prospects of a diverse Oscar season after the "Moonlight" win.
