  • In the October 2017 issue of Cosmopolitan, one of Kate Hudson's answers to a survey has landed her in hot water with readers. One question asked what was the laziest thing she had ever done. Hudson's answer: "Have a C-section!" Kate is referring to her 13-year old son Ryder, who was born via Cesarean.

  • The response to Kate's answer has been mixed. On her Instagram, a lot of followers defended her while others were upset with the idea that having a C-section can be considered lazy. Many twitter users are not happy with Kate either.

The Murder of Laci Peterson on A&E

$

- This episode was the verdict.
- In 2004 Scott Peterson was found guilty of first degree murder of his wife, Laci Peterson, and second degree murder of their unborn child.
- He was sentenced to death by lethal injection (he's scheduled to be executed by the end of 2021)
- He says he wasn't given a fair trial because the media frenzy affected the jury.
- Next week is the final episode.

Is anyone watching this? It feels kinda one sided, like it was funded by Scott Peterson himself.

Tinashe post! New hair for NYFW + turned away from Rihanna's event + new song coming.

Tinashe is serving looks during the NYFW.

Later, she revealed a drastic change cutting her hair short and dying it blond.

Unfortunately (for me), it was just a wig.

Tinashe turned away from Rihanna's PumaxFenty event?

But here's what actually happened:

but everybody wants drama and women to hate each other so I'm sure most will ignore this.

Anyways, during one of the interviews Tinashe gave at the NYFW, she said a new song is coming and that it's "muted" and "very sexy".

Video Director Joseph Kahn Can't Stop Talking About Taylor Swift

$

Kahn on Swift:"The biggest insult anyone throws at her is that she’s manipulative. What does that mean? As an artist, because you know what clothes you want to wear, you know what edits you want to make, you know what the set-ups are, you know what the theme of every idea is, you know what your lyrics are. Is that manipulative or is that just being smart?”

About the Taylor/Beyoncé "Lemonade" joke he made:"In a world over earthquakes, and hurricanes, and possible nuclear war...a joke about crop tops is the most dominant thing in media for the last couple days. That's a little insane don't you think? And also the other thing is when people are saying the video copies "Lemonade" and then I make a joke back that well there's a crop top in "Bad Blood," um, "Lemonade" is copying "Bad Blood." Do I really care about crop tops or am I making a joke about the obsession with this sort of celebrity warfare? You make your decision."

Kahn goes on to say that Taylor is Taylor and is consistent with who she is.

• "Bottom line, great person, smart, an artist."

Has heard the entire album "Reputation" but cannot go into details. But says it is "spectacular" and "a monster."

Given the success of the film adaptation, I thought it'd be interesting to look up what the child actors from the miniseries are doing now.

Again, this is just the kid actors.

1. Jonathan Brandis as Bill
itcast

Unfortunately, Brandis took his own life back in 2003 at the age of 27.

After IT (where he was 14 at the time), Brandis went on to have bit roles here and there (like a voice acting role in the animated Aladdin series and a starring role in NeverEnding Story II) until he finally landed a recurring role in SeaQuest 2032 at the age of 17. After that was cancelled, he got the occasional movie though nothing very large (his role in Hart's War was minor and most of it ended up on the cutting room floor).

2. Emily Perkins as Bev
itcast3

Since starring in IT at 13, Perkins has continued to appear regularly in several films/tv shows including Ginger Snaps, Da Vinci's Inquest, She's the Man, Juno, and Supernatural. Her last film was in 2014, but she still makes regular appearances at conventions.

She's currently married to film professor Ernest Mathjis, who also writes books about cult films

3. Brandon Crane as Ben
itcast4

Crane's other most notable role was as Doug Porter on The Wonder Years. Otherwise, he hasn't really acted much which is fine since he seems to be doing quite well building websites for companies. He's built sites for Horizon Growers Pistachios, Sandisk, and Penguin Random House among others. He's also pretty active on twitter

He and his wife currently run the design agency Solid Fuel Creative

4. Marlon Taylor as Mike Hanlon
itcast5

Taylor was in the short lived series "You Take the Kids" and had minor roles on other shows like Sister, Sister in 1994. According to IMDB, he didn't have any roles from then until the movie Know Thy Enemy in 2009. He still didn't get too many roles afterwards, but his next role will be as a zombie on Z-Nation.

According to his twitter account, he lives in Seattle and is an "Actor, father, family man, creative old soul, poet, husband, lover, the good the bad and the ugly."

5. Seth Green as Richie
itcast2

Does it really have to be said? The most well known of the child cast who is still working in Hollywood whether it's acting or producing. His directorial debut, Changeland, is currently in post-production

6. Adam Faraizl as Eddie
itcast6

Last acting credit was in 1992 with a sequel to Where the Red Fern Grows. He went to college and graduated with a degree in Pacific & Asian Studies from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.

He currently works in the restaurant service industry as a bar manager in Seattle.

7. Ben Heller as Stanley
itcast7

IT was the only thing Heller acted in. He's participating in a documentary about IT, but otherwise, he's off the grid.

The View chats with the Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton

The rightful President of the United States of America Hillary Rodham Clinton has started the press tour for her book What Happened. She graces the panel of the View to talk about the election and the book.

Lessons from Hillary:

- Don't listen to Sarah Huckabee Sanders who said that Hillary is spending her last bit of public life talking about something so sad and running one of the most negative presidential campaigns.
- If you are disagreeing with what you've heard about the book, PLEASE FUCKING READ THE BOOK.
- HRC calls out that Russia is still undermining our democracy.
- She brings up voter suppression on African American and young voters.
- They bring up former FBI director James Comey's letter.
- She blames herself for the loss but shares her reasoning in regards to putting some blame onto Bernie.
- They talk about James Comey firing and Mueller investigation. TOO MANY CONNECTIONS for it not to be real.
- Sara Haines brings up if they will have 4 years of Trump.

I'm still amused that ONTD has no Clinton tag.

Amber Tamblyn Writes Open Letter to James Woods

In a follow-up to this post, Amber Tamblyn has responded to James Woods' accusations that Amber Tamblyn lied about James Woods trying to pick her up when she was just 16. She warned him:

In her letter, she says, "Since you've now called me a liar, I will now call you a silencer. I see your gaslight and now will raise you a scorched earth."

Below the cut, check out a screencap of texts w/ Amber's friend who was present during the event as well as an excerpt from her letter. I encourage you to click through to the source and read the whole letter though. She gives more details on the event and notes that she was not famous at the time, having only appeared in a few soap opera spots. If you check out Amber's twitter, she has retweeted other women who have come forward about James Woods' predatory behavior and notes that she must assume she and her friend surely aren't some exception -- that Woods must have preyed on other young girls and women and used the same lines and tricks.

The saddest part of this story doesn't even concern me but concerns the universal woman's story. The nation's harmful narrative of disbelieving women first, above all else. Asking them to first corroborate or first give proof or first make sure we're not misremembering or first consider the consequences of speaking out or first let men give their side or first just let your sanity come last.

So it is with hope, Mr. Woods, that I ask you to go inward now and ask yourself the hard stuff. The ominous unconscious stuff. The archetypal masculinity stuff. The power-play stuff. The perversion persuasion stuff. The secretive stuff. The id's most cherished stuff.

Only you and your darkness know who you are. Only you and your actions know what you've done. That means you and only you have the power to change your behavior.

Comic Book Post: Mr. Oz is revealed to be....

$

The wait is finally over. After being introduced over 3 years ago, readers finally know who DC's mysterious Mr. Oz really is and just why he has a strange obsession with Superman. Those who speculated since Rebirth that he was Watchmen's Ozymandias should be in for quite a surprise.

Oz is Superman's father Jor-El.

Oz is fed up with humanity. He doesn't think Earth deserves Superman or his family and puts plans into motion that cause chaos around the globe that Supes isn't fast enough to completely stop (chaos which included Superman saving undocumented immigrants from white supremacists).

When Superman angrily shouts why people would do this to each other, Oz appears, stating he gave humanity a choice and they choose mayhem and destruction. He then states he regrets sending Superman to a cesspool of a planet before revealing himself.

The next issue of Action Comics, scheduled for release in two weeks, will dive into the origin of how Jor-El became Mr. Oz. Whether that includes his connection to Dr. Manhattan remains to be seen, but this 5-issue story is set to wrap two weeks before Doomsday Clock.
