Mister Rogers' NeighborhoodThe "Conflict" episodesIn November 1983, the show aired five episodes devoted to topics related to war. This response to the Invasion of Grenada, and the 1983 Beirut barracks bombings covered bombs and the arms race. The episodes were re-aired for the last time in 1996, and now the third, fourth, and fifth episodes are considered lost.

TaleSpinThe "explosive" series finaleThe final episode, aired in August of 1991, concerned a bomb being delivered to a high marshal. This made viewers think of
Ted Kaczynski (also known as the Unabomber).

Tiny Toon AdventuresThe beer episodeIn one of the three segments depicted in "Elephant Issues" (1991), three characters drink a beer they find in the fridge. Eventually, they get drunk and drive off a cliff. The episode did not air in reruns again until 2013.

Hawaii Five-OThe suicide episodeThe original
Hawaii Five-O had a season two episode, "Bored, She Hung Herself," where a woman in hangs herself while doing yoga. The scenes of the victim hanging were deemed too graphic for audiences. When a viewer tried to reenact the fatal position, they ended up dying, too. The episode has not been reaired in syndicated reruns, and it has been exlcuded from the DVD releases. The Twilight ZoneThe George Takei episodeIn "The Encounter," George Takei plays a nisei (second generation) Japanese-American that is trapped in an attic with a war vet. Takei's character's father was said to be a spy for the Japanese navy during the Pearl Harbor attack. This is inaccurate as there are no reports of Japanese-American disloyalty in that war. Viewers complained after the notably racist episode aired, causing it to be removed from many syndication runs. It is, however, available on the DVD and Blu-ray releases.
