Sarah Jones, 27, a camera assistant, was killed in 2014 during the filming of a dream sequence in the Gregg Allman biopic “Midnight Rider”.
Jurors determined that railways company CSX Transportation bore the largest part of the responsibility.
Director Randall Miller served a year in jail after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespassing.

The jury unanimously awarded Jones’ family $1,992,083 for pain and suffering, and $9,229,416 for the full value of Sarah’s life. They assigned 35 percent of the fault to CSX, 28 percent to Miller and 18 percent to Rayonier Performance Fibers, which owns the property around the tracks. The rest was divided among members of production company Film Allman.

-A judge in Spain previously granted permission to exhume Dali's body to resolve an ongoing paternity dispute, despite the artist's estate opposing the decision. The body is being exhumed tonight.

-The woman claiming that Dali is her father, Pilar Abel, is a Tarot card reader who alleges that her mother had an affair with Dali while he was married to another woman.

-If the paternity test shows that Abel is in fact the daughter of Dali, then she would have legal grounds to pursue rights over Dali's work and property.

The long-awaited Freddie Mercury biopic directed by Brian Singer and starring Rami Malek will not address the AIDS crisis and will focus on his years with Queen. Freddie Mercury died in 1991 due to complications from AIDS.

It's been reported Brian May and Roger Taylor are executive producers of the film and clashed with Sacha Baron Cohen during pre-production over May and Taylor wanting to ignore Mercury's personal life in the film and instead focus on Queen. Cohen later left the project, accusing the surviving members of Queen were trying to clean up the film and take focus away from Mercury.

Cohen claimed (quoted for full WTF):

“[After] my first meeting, I should never have carried on, after a member of the band said ‘this is such a great movie because such an amazing thing happens in the middle of the movie’. “I ask what happens in the middle of the movie, and he says ‘Freddie dies’

“I go, ‘So you mean, it’s a bit like Pulp Fiction, the end is the middle and the middle is the end? That’s wild, that’s interesting.’ He goes ‘no no, normal movie’, so I said ‘wait a minute, what happens in the second half of the movie?’

“And he said, ‘Well, we see how the band carries on from strength to strength’… I said, ‘Listen, not one person is going to see a movie where the lead character dies from AIDS, and then you carry on to see the band carry on!’.”

It's Thursday. The View talks about Trump criticizing AG Sessions about his ties to Russia. How he would have not hired the guy if he had to recuse himself from the investigation? He also criticizes Senator Heller from Nevada who voted against AHCA. Whoopi talks about how this guy can't get away with bullying this people and is still stuck in the mentality that he can fire Senators.

They also talk about Senator McCain's diagnosis of having brain cancer. They show the clip of McCain standing up to an old white lady in regards to her comments about President Obama during the 2008 campaign trail. Joy thinks that his type of Senator is a dying breed. They still don't understand how after Trump made comments how McCain is not a hero because he was POW. He still got elected.

Season 8 premieres Oct. 22.

The premiere will be the show's 100th episode.

AMC is expected to release a trailer of the upcoming season at Comic Con.

New poster is revealed at the source.

Comparing TWD's S7 and GoT's S7 season premieres, TWD has a slight edge over the HBO fantasy show.

After TWD's S7 premiere however, they began to lose viewers, 5 million of them. They haven't gotten them back since.

TWD's overnight ratings are misleading, though. They have 15.5 with DVR and live viewings combined.

Nevertheless, still less than GoT.

FTWD is third in the most watch series. A far third.
