During yesterday's presser, deputy White House press secretary was interruped by the Montgomery Country Sentinel executive editor about Sanders spouting how there is always a "constant barrage of fake news" targeting 45. Brian Karem has stated that she is failing to meet the standard and that is being honest. Sunny wanted somebody else to follow up and stand up to the administration.

They also talk about the the fake Time magazine covers at the 45 golf courses. The View provides some alternatives that he can show instead.

New Promo Images and Info on Season Three of 'Killjoys'

With Killjoys season three premiering just around the corner some new information has been coming out about the season. TV, eh? recently sat down with series creator Michelle Lovretta to talk about the show. In the interview Lovretta revealed that some time will have taken place between seasons two and three, allowing for the events of the finale to sink in with the characters. While previously the role of a Killjoy had been to take no sides they are gearing up to fight against Aneela and we'll see them training others to do just that. Aneela won't be the only foe that they are facing as Lovretta described her as the "architect" of many of the challenges "colluding from afar".

"One of the things we're exploring this season is that it's about loyalties and about your self-definition," Lovretta stated. "I love to live in the grey, not because I don't [think] there is evil and good because I do, but that it's contextual in a lot of ways. there are people who are very good to their loved ones and those loved ones never know how savage they are."

We'll also be delving deeper into Pree's history, particularly that of his past as a warlord early in the season. Also, from the mouth of the showrunner herself, "We have more Fancy, we have more Alvis, we have some surprise people that you may not be expecting." Which could possibly be hinting at the return of fan favorite Delle Seyah Kendry who appeared to be fatally shot by Johnny in the season two finale.

She also went on to confirm that we will be seeing the day that Johnny and Dutch met during this season as well.

The Cubs are going to the White House! Again!

- The Cubs made their first, televised visit with Obama, who remarked that"Throughout our history, sports has had this power to bring us together even when the country is divided," back in January, way quicker turn-around than is usual for these kinds of visits.

- They're going to the White House again today for a closed door meeting with Trump organized by Ted Cruz's doppelganger, Todd Ricketts, who said this will be more low-key than the previous, "super-awesome" visit. Republican Governor Pete Ricketts, who missed the January meeting for some reason, will also attend. Laura Ricketts, who has a new baby, will not.


- The Sun-Times polled the locker room on Tuesday, and of the 22 players they spoke to, 12 said they would be going, and 10 said they would decline the opportunity to hear about the electoral college.

- Joe Maddon said that the trip was "absolutely voluntary," and that he would be going because that's what you do when you're invited to the White House, this is not a political statement, he is doing it out of respect for the office and the Cubs' owners, other systems of government are much worse, he doesn't care what the players do as long as they're good on the field, and he's happy he doesn't have to wear a suit. Everything's cool.

- First baseman Anthony Rizzo will be going, saying “I’m going because it’s the United States of America and I’d rather not (be) anywhere else but this country. There’s no political ties. It’s the White House.”

- Pitcher Pedro Strop: “I just didn’t feel like I want to go.”

  • On why he decided to pose nude:"I just feel like in our culture it's so taboo for a guy to show their bodies but it's ok for a woman to do it. I just kinda want to break that. I think I have a nice body and I think it's art and I just think that it should be celebrated like they celebrate women's bodies. So you know, I could be a guy and be gay and be black and be artistic and be artistic in a nude fashion shoot in the same way that anybody else could. I want that 'break the internet' moment. I want people to look at this and be like, 'Oh, wow, it's ok.' This guy is a musician, he's on TV. He's doing this, he's doing that but it's ok."

  • He's openly gay and thinks not many male african-americans are comfortable being out of the closet. He can only think on 5 on top his head when there's millions.

  • Remembers that the BET Awards didn't invite him to do anything despite him having a big moment in his career.

Anita's Sarkeesian discusses harassment at Vidcon

- At Vidcon, Anita Sarkeesian (of Feminist Frequency) was speaking on a panel about the lives of women online.
- As a response to the first question asking about why feminism is worthy of discussion, Anita immediately called out a fellow YouTuber and one of her longest harassers, Carl Benjamin, who was seated in the front row, saying:
""If you Google my name on YouTube you get shitheads like this dude who are making these dumb-assed videos," she says. "They just say the same shit over and over again. I hate to give you attention because you're a garbage human. These dudes just making endless videos that go after every feminist over and over again is a part of the issue of why we have to have these conversations.
- Carl Benjamin has dedicated his entire YouTube career to tearing down women like Anita, and specifically targets her in his videos. He and fellow GamerGate allies, who also refer to themselves as "shitlords" had gathered to purposely take up the first three rows of the panel and silently record the panel on their phones in an effort to intimidate Sarkeesian.
- Carl Benjamin and his fans are now claiming that Sarkeesian is the one who is harassing others for calling him out and namecalling when he was just an innocent bystander silently watching the panel. That is, until one of his allies spoke to Polygon and confirmed that their intentions being there were not innocent.
- "We carefully organized this so that on one side of the audience we would all make up the top three rows. We would all be sitting there filming it. Anita spoke. And they were asking about why is it important to still have women talking about sexism or some victim bullshit in video games...We had a blast with this. It was such an adrenaline high to be there in the situation, to shit-post, in this trolling kind of way."
- The article highlights the harassment that Sarkeesian has faced over the years, and chats with her about why she continues to speak and not debate with these trolls that clearly have no interest in what she wants to say.
- She highlights that sometimes understanding feminism or racism takes education, and reading, and peeling back layers, whereas denying that these things exist is easy cause they can just jump right to the denial.
