  • Little Mix's set at Radio 1's Big Weekend got cut from BBC iPlayer after Perrie Edwards swore live while performing Down & Dirty.

  • Matt Edmondson, who was MCing the live coverage on both Radio 1 show and on the BBC iPlayer, had to apologized to offended listeners and played a Justin Bieber song instead of Little Mix's set.

  • The curse word, which is fuck, is part of the song, and they have been singing it on tour, but apparently no one told them that they couldn't say it during this event.




In other news, POWER feat. Stormzy is finally out, and the video, in which the AAA Girls make a guest appearance, is coming out soon. Because of this, Willam did some promo for the song on Instagram. And we also got some behind the scenes pictures.

After today's performance, fans are starting to worry about the girls' vocals because they have been touring pretty much since the year started and they will keep touring until November, so their voices are starting to sound strained, especially Perrie's, and they think that they're being overworked. Also, they're supposed to release a new album by the end of the year, so the few weeks off that they're supposed to have between their tours, they're going to be in the studio recording their fifth album. Now that One Direction disappeared, they're the only ones making Syco some money in the UK, and they're starting to treat them like they treated the boys at their peak.

Lana took us back to 2012 for a moment with her televised performance @ Radio 1's Big Weekend Festival in England. Despite some technical difficulties with her mic pitched too low in the first songs, Lana came thru singing her new song Cherry, the single version of Lust for Life, Cruel World, and Video Games before wrapping her set up with the timeless bop that is Off to the Races. Lana's Lust for Life is set to be released on July 21.





In a post-performance interview Lana also confirmed that the album will have 18 tracks! #doublealbumQueen

Britney's Glory to be re-released

Pop Princess Britney Jean Spears has another surprise for her Asian fans as before she embarks on her sold-out tour of the continent she will be re-releasing her critically acclaimed album Glory on May 31st. The two-disc album features new artwork, the Japanese-only but single worthy bonus track Mood Ring and a second disc which "reproduces an almost exact setlist from her latest tour". It is unclear if the album will include the tour remixes or the regular versions but here's another opportunity to make one of the best albums of 2016 yours #buyGloryoniTunes.

-Finn Jones announced at the Puerto Rico Comic Con this past weekend that a season two renewal for Iron Flop is coming soon despite it being a critical bomb.
-The Defenders series will take place over 48 hours, which accounts for its shorter season (it'll have 8 eps as opposed to the 12 every other Netflix Marvel show has).

"I can’t explain what we’re doing right now, but we’re very much into disco-y things, whatever this next album may or may not turn out to be (…) But I’m very much referencing ABBA a lot, and the Bee Gees, all of that stuff. It’s fun to dig into oldies and see what you can celebrate about it, like a good movie or good song — to take your favourite pieces of something and add some new stuff to create something different"

So one year later, the post finally makes it’s debut! This beloved sitcom turned movie turned sitcom star shows us that Gemini’s CAN BE non-problematic. After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 29, he became a heavy drinker for about seven years before coming to terms with his disease, getting sober, and setting up the Micheal J. Fox Foundation which has allowed him to become a huge advocate for health, particularly in the treatment and cure of his own affliction.

Kendrick Lamar - June 17th

Kendrick delivers on Gemini’s best talents-- calling out controversy & heavy topics with fast talking, irony, and world class wit. He’s been robbed twice for the Album of the Year grammy, but he’s handled it with surprising grace considering how messy and petty we expect Gemini’s to be. There’s little doubt that this rapper will be off his game anytime soon and hopefully one day, he’ll finally get that AotY!

This former Tom Cruise prisoner turned Scientology escapee was everyone’s fave at point and has blessed us with staying out of the problematic column… unless you choose some of her rather problematic career choices.

She wasn’t always a fave, but like a lot of Gemini’s, they get increasingly better with age. Angie definitely pulled a 180 on our asses, going from Billy Bob’s blood carrier to world humanitarian. Although it hasn’t been a mess-free ride. Somewhere someone is still wearing their “Team Angelina” shirt from her epic swooping of Brad Pitt.

Setting the bar so high for Gemini’s that we’ll never be able to live up to the hype. He’s a hero to many after coming out in 1988 and remaining a strong LGBT advocate and was knighted by the Queen in 1991 for his contributions to the arts. Gemini’s are not worthy tbh!

This is the scariest, smartest horror movie on Netflix right now

Filmmaker Babak Anvari thanked GQ magazine for naming his debut film, Under the Shadow, as the best horror film on Netflix right now.

Under the Shadow is about a mother and daughter in war-torn Iran. Sideh's husband is deployed, leaving her to protect their young daughter Dorsa alone. During an air raid, a missile crashes, but doesn't explode, in their apartment building. The missile has brought something with it - a djinn, or a supernatural being.

GQ writes that it's "an effective character-driven film" and "a fascinating look at the kind of everyday Muslim lives that we rarely see in our own media" while "exploring universal fears."

The film currently has a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Tiger Shroff, son of veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has been cast in the titular role.
Shooting is set to begin in February of next year for a late 2018 release.
Sylvester Stallone has given the the film his blessing.
