TDE managed to remember they have more than one talented artist long enough to release "Love Galore", from SZA's forthcoming debut CTRL (coming 20??).

A very strange visual was also released for the song. Check it out below:

Are you an underappreciated talent, ONTD?

On a recent appearance on What What Happens Live!, fashion icon André Leon Talley was asked to choose between Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks. The former America's Next top Model judge made it clear he and his former boss did not keep in touch. “I don’t see Tyra. I think she’s in Norway?... Did she have a baby? Someone tell me?” (Tyra’s baby, York, was born January 27, 2016. That was 452 days ago.) “I’m up to speed with Naomi,” Talley continued. “She’s coming in from Dubai.”

The Gong Show revival on ABC premieres on June 22 and is set to be hosted by "legendary British comic Tommy Maitland" - but if you've never heard of him, it's probably because he doesn't appear to actually exist.

Maitland has an extensive online biography provided by ABC (it says he hosted game shows in the UK and Australia and appeared in a few James Bond knockoff films) and a Twitter account that coincidentally just started sending out tweets today.

Gong Show executive producer Will Arnett says he has been a fan of Maitland's comedy since he was a teenager, and Maitland himself issued a statement saying "When Will Arnett came to me and asked me to host The Gong Show, I said, ‘I'm honoured at the request, but I'm retired. Then he told me how much I was being paid, in U.S. dollars, and I said, ‘I'm still honoured, but no longer retired.'"

So why has no one ever heard of him? Neither ABC nor Arnett will admit it, but according to E!, it appears that Maitland is none other than a heavily disguised Mike Meyers

Ja Rule's disastrous Fyre Fest has been keeping us all entertained the past two days, but it's also overshadowed some other musician drama that has been making the rounds on music blogs recently. Check out 5 stories below:

    1. R. Kelly Is Being Sued For Being A Homewrecker

-A Sheriff's deputy from Mississippi is suing R.Kelly for allegedly carrying on an affair with his wife that caused the end of his marriage.
-The lawsuit was filed last week and apparently contains images of text messages sent between his wife and R. Kelly.
-Apparently the woman previously had a relationship with R.Kelly.
-Mississippi is 1 of only 5 states that allows a partner to sue their spouse for the breakup of their marriage.
-No word yet from R.Kelly on the matter.

    2. The Cranberries Disastrous TV Performance
-Straight from the 90s, the Cranberries are back and lead singer Dolores O’Riordan sounded like shit on a recent live television performance in the UK.

-There also seems to be some chatter on twitter about the EU flags appearing in the background of their performance.

    3. Julian Assange Supporters

-Blogs are reporting that last year (June 2016), several musicians spoke at conventions in support of Julian Assange that were set up by FreeAssangeNow.com
-Assange, who is dodging a sexual assault case in Sweden, has recently been accused of helping Russia meddle with the US election and has also had a meeting with British politician Nigel Farage (of Brexit fame!).
-Who's involved? Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and Brian Eno, of course! (Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, and Vivienne Westwood were also reportedly there).

    4. Chinese Ad Rips Off Tame Impala

-Kevin Parker took to instagram to call out a Chinese commercial for blatantly ripping off their hit song "The Less I Know The Better".
-He also included the hashtag #nowitsmyturn - possibly in reference to the fact that the band were previously sued by funk band Skull Snaps for allegedly ripping off their 1973 track "It's A New Day".
    -Comparison video at the source.

    5. Adele/Damon Albarn/ Noel & Liam Gallagher

-This one is a bit of a doozy (but not surprising given 3 of the people involved have been feuding with other celebrities on and off for 20 fucking years!).

-Damon Albarn has recently stated he will never work with Adele again.

-Although Damon denies any sort of bad blood between the two - Damon has recently said the following while talking about the new Gorillaz album:
"It wasn't quite Adele but I will never be Adele . . . or ever work with her!"

-A little background: Adele and Damon got together to write music while Adele was working on 25. The sessions didn't produce anything that could be used but did lead Adele to state the following about working with Damon:
"It ended up being one of those 'don't meet your idol' moments. And the saddest thing was that I was such a big Blur fan growing up. But it was sad, and I regret hanging out with him."

-Damon has since gone on to call Adele's music "middle of the road" and has labeled the singer herself as being "insecure".

-Meanwhile, Damon and Noel Gallagher (feuding enemies of the 90s) got together to work on a Gorillaz track titled "We Got The Power". Noel plays guitar and does backing vocals on the track. During an interview, both Damon and Noel mentioned Liam (they started it!):

    Damon:
"Of course, no one's asked Liam what he thinks about the song yet. No doubt he'd have a fantastic one-liner about what a bunch of fucking knob heads we are."

    Noel:
"Listen, nobody gives a fuck what Liam thinks about anything."

Liam, of course, took to twitter to respond:

The (warranted, if you ask me) backlash and criticism to 13 Reasons Why has made its way to Selena Gomez, who was asked about it recently and said the following:
    selena-gomez-at-we-day-california-in-los-angeles-04-27-2017-1_thumbnail

"We stayed very true to the book and that’s initially what [author] Jay Asher created was a beautifully tragic, complicated yet suspenseful story and I think that’s what we wanted to do. We wanted to do it justice and, yeah, [the backlash is] gonna come no matter what. It’s not an easy subject to talk about, but I’m very fortunate with how it’s doing. I just wanted it to come across in a way that kids would be frightened, but confused, and in a way that they would talk about it because it’s something that’s happening all the time.”
She also sorta confirmed Season 2 with her red carpet reaction at We Day.

A hacker says he has stolen all episode of OITNB's 5th season and is demanding to be paid to keep it off the internet. To prove so, he has uploaded the first episode online.

Netflix is aware of the situation, and it's been investigating.

He also claims to have other shows from other studios.

Moments. They happen. Today was and is a moment. What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES. Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting. As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial. Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me. So with a heart that is certainly lighter, I wait. In the meantime, decisions. Reconstruction which is several surgeries. Decision on taking a pill for the next five years that comes with its own set of problems and side effects. I am blessed, I know that. But for now.... remission. I'm going to just breathe. #cancerslayer

    - Says that if young people don't vote, they will lose out.
    - Thinks that the voting ages should be lowered to 16; the last time he saw young people excited about politics was during the Scottish Independence referendum as they felt truly involved in a fundamentally important decision in their country's future.
    - He says that if young people are looking for a reason to make any kind of difference they must try and register to vote in order to minimize an impending Tory majority.
    - He wants to live in a Britain that has a fully functioning democracy and finds Theresa May's of handling Parliament's disagreement on Brexit policies to be worrying.
    - Says that he will at some point return to television satire, perhaps in Britain (please gawd give us a Thick of It special I can't cope with just the reruns rn)
