The director of 'The Great Wall', Zhang Yimou, stated the following concerning Matt Damon as being the lead of 'The Great Wall'.

"Matt Damon is not playing a role that was originally conceived for a Chinese actor. The arrival of his character in our story is an important plot point. There are five major heroes in our story and he is one of them — the other four are all Chinese. The collective struggle and sacrifice of these heroes are the emotional heart of our film. As the director of over 20 Chinese language films and the Beijing Olympics, I have not and will not cast a film in a way that was untrue to my artistic vision. I hope when everyone sees the film and is armed with the facts they will agree."

Yes, tattooed. The "18"-year-old actress used a technique called microblading to have her eyebrows tattooed on her face.

Bella even documented the process on Snapchat for her followers:

Microblading is semi-permanent process in which pigment is deposited beneath the surface of the skin using disposable needles. The pigment can be used in such a way that it resembles strands of hair, making eyebrows look heavier.

The process was once a little-known way to regain thicker, fuller brows for sufferers of trichotillomania (a hair-pulling compulsion), victims of cancer, or just over-pluckers in general. Now, thanks to Instagram's widespread sharing of brow-shaping techniques, microblading has entered the mainstream and is becoming ever more popular among young women and beauty gurus.

She also revealed a bit about her upcoming iHeart performance, saying that it's going to be "cool" and "awesome".

Normani has been attacked so much by harmonizers this past week, especially the last 48 hours, that she has decided to take a break from Twitter.

If you didn't know, apparently she was "shady" towards bandmate Camila the other day, so her fans have been attacking Normani since then, even though she already said that she never shaded her.

~~The mamba gang~~ Camila stans started showing how racist they really are and were photoshopping Normani's face onto pictures of slaves and lynched bodies and were tweeting more racist things to her.

-Per PostTrak: he combination of African American and Hispanic moviegoers made up a huge 41% of the audience with both audiences giving the film a whopping 81% positive score.
-Suicide Squad also brought in a 42% of women, (compared to BvS' 31%)
-According to PostTrak, only 4% of people polled were affected by the shitty reviews..

Did Apple Music Inflate Drake's Album Streams?

All data reflected here is based solely on the US

* This article challenges the validity of Drake's Apple streaming numbers.
* The author uses statistics from both Spotify (w/ 100M monthly listeners and 30M paid subscribers) and Apple Music (15M subscribers). Youtube is not included; while it is the largest streaming platform, Nielsen, and therefore Billboard, doesn't include it in its streaming plus sales total. Ripple, Napster, Dreezer and etc make up such a small market share that their numbers do not impact the data collected. Pandora does not count towards streaming.
* During Views' first week of availability (only on Apple Music), the album was streamed 245M times. This broke the previous record held by ~~Beyonce~~Justin Bieber, which was around 100M streams (1) . 23M of these came from Apple Music while another 77M came from Spotify. This somewhat correlates to the market share between the two services. How did Views manage to beat JB's streaming record two times over when it was only availabile on one platform?

* Between 5/13 (date Views was added to Spotify) and 7/28,Views has been streamed 1.3B times in the US. Spotify reported that during this time period Views had been streamed 645M times. Meaning another 655M streams would have basically come from Apple Music. This should be impossible since does not correlate to Apple Music's market share, Apple Music did not see a drastic increase of subscribers between this period, and Youtube's streams does not count towards the BB200.
* The author poses many scenarios about how this could have (check the source), but the most likely is that Apple Music has inflated the number of streams for Views.

(1): Beyonce had actually broken Justin Bieber's streaming record with Lemonade's 115M streams first week. The author has receipts at the source of outlet's not intially reporting this, and he guesses it's because Tidal (where Lemonade was an exclusive) is a joke.

The VMA-nominated super group continues it travels around the world as the opening act for Selena Gomez, with The Revival Tour taking them to Japan for a few shows this past week. Along with two performances at the Tokyo Forum, DNCE also had a private show at Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo; and made stops on several local tv programs.......
