Mickey Milkovich Gone for Good, Noel Fisher Signs On To An Inevitably Unpicked Up Pilot for NBC

Last year, the best actor on TV, Noel Fisher, left the greatest role of his career. He left behind the gay thug life of Mickey Milkovich on the woefully underrated Shameless to be a CGI turtle who plays second fiddle to Megan Fox's incredible rack in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Who the Fuck Cares. Now, over a year after departing the show that made us realize Emmy Rossum is queen, he is starring in a pilot for that network people used to watch in the 90s. He will be joined by the boring girl from The Real World: San Diego and the chick from from High School Musical who isn't Vanessa Hudgens or the blonde one or Zackiesha Efron.

"Miranda’s Rights" is one-hour legal soap about an idealistic group of lawyers who not only work together but live together at their start-up firm, for NBC.

It is unknown if Fisher will keep his terrifying Casper the Ghost blonde hair, his natural ging, or come to his senses and go back to hair as black as my heart.

Kesha talks about her history with the LGBT community, and the importance of loving every part of yourself just as you are.

Kesha posted this selfie on her instagram captioned with "Thank you @humanrightscampaign for having me tonight and for my visibility award. Tonight was incredibly special to be awarded for something I care so deeply about. I will fight for equal human rights till the day I die. Love always wins!"

Finally could there be a collab with Zedd on the future? Zedd previously tweeted this in support of Kesha

And he revealed to ET that her team has gotten back to him, saying "Her team actually hit us back confirming that I was serious about it, which is really cool. I'm obviously very serious about it, so maybe something will happen. Maybe there's something I can do. Maybe we can do some music. Nothing I can say right now, but it would be cool."

Years & Years release statement for LGBT-centered Desire video

$

In an open letter Years and Years frontman Olly Alexander has explained his thinking behind the bands newly released Desire video which features various queer makeouts. I know that #ONTDdoesntread so I only included the parts of his statement that were really important but you should read the whole thing as it's quite powerful and refreshing coming from an out and proud gay artist who isnt afraid to express and show queer sexuality.

"Most of the pop videos I’ve seen that have any male and female interaction are usually centred around a romance, and that’s great, I am all for romance, but let’s face it there are a lot of other sexualities and identities that are well deserving of some shiny pop video love.
I’ve been wanting to make a video with some of my queer family for a long time and ‘Desire’ felt like the right time to do it.
Every Y&Y video has some similar elements that run through it: magical worlds, symbolism, pretty lights and this time I wanted sex added into that mixture.
I wanted the video to feel sexy. Everyone has a different definition of what they find sexy, so why do we so often get given one version of what sexy is time and time again? Is there a rulebook for men and women on how to feel sexy or what sexy is? For me, whoever it is, two women, two men, a group of gender-queer people, it’s all cute. It can all be a positive and a joyful expression of sexiness and sexuality, you don’t have to be a specific gender to enjoy it.

I LOVE POP (obviously) so, why is it that in 2016, a Pop video featuring people expressing their sexuality who aren’t cis-gendered or heterosexual, feel at all unusual or progressive? Well for a lot of people, it doesn’t- they live and think outside of the societal binary most of us are used to, but for a lot of other people, myself included, it does. It shouldn’t, but it does. I am an openly gay male singer, in a band called Years & Years, we make pop music. We’re not the only queer-frontman-led acts nor am I the only openly gay male singer but all that being said there aren’t that many of us and at times I’ve felt real pressure to hide or to limit my sexuality. Some of that pressure has come from myself and my own internal struggles and some of it has come from the wider world. Most often I see the following kind of attitude - we don’t mind if you’re gay, just don’t be too gay or that’s a bit much; a bit camp; a bit weird; don’t shove it in our faces etc. Well, if "shoving it in your face” essentially refers to the way that lots of straight pop stars get to assert their sexuality then I’ll be damned if I’m not gonna shove it in your face if I want to.

So yeah, gay people have sex, and it’s not just gay people, it’s all kinds of people! All these non-straight people, they’re out there, having sex! Sex, between two consenting adults, can be a healthy, positive, safe and enjoyable thing! Hopefully most of you know this and you don’t need me to give you a sex ed lesson (I didn’t have any sex ed at school so I’d probably be bad at it) and to be fair, not everybody wants to hear me bang on about my sex life. But here’s the thing, I like having sex, being able to assert myself and talk about my sexuality is an empowering thing for me. It’s a difficult road from shame to acceptance and part of making that journey easier is owning and embracing it all. As a teenager I was inspired by stars who I felt were doing just that. They were almost exclusively women; Madonna, Destiny’s Child, Alanis Morisette, Britney and Whitney - they asserted or acknowledged their sexuality in varying and different ways and to me they were ways that felt powerful. They were singing about men and I wanted to sing about men. They were seductive and sensual in their videos - I wanted to be seductive and sensual in my videos (and believe me I made a lot of these kind of home videos). They were so much more interesting to me than the majority of male musicians whose Type A macho masculinity felt completely un-relatable. Now, I feel like it’s important to state here that I will never be Beyonce, I am a white male and that is an extremely large privilege, I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman. I can talk about sexuality all I want but I will never know what it’s like to be a woman. Women in Pop music are expected to be sexy, most of the time they don’t have any choice - I have the privilege of choice. I chose to make this video about sex, to portray myself as a sexual character. I choose this because I do not want to hide or limit my sexuality, I want to make videos and songs and art that celebrate all different kinds of sexuality and queer identities.
What do we expect from pop music? From our pop stars? What do we expect from the ones that are gay? I don’t know the answers to these questions but I for one don’t want to see a narrow representation of gender and identity on our screens or in our music. I want diversity. We shouldn’t have to feel scared about putting our sexualities and identities on display in all their beautiful, interlocking, multi-layered multi-coloured glory. I want to be proud. Proud to shove it in people’s faces if I want to."

CONSPIRACY: Have the Milwaukee Brewers replaced Hank the Ballpark Pup with a NEW dog?

$

In 2014 a stray dog made his way into the Milwaukee Brewers training camp, and the team loved him so much that they decided to adopt him as their unofficial mascot. They named him Hank the Ballpark Pup after Hank Aaron.

When the season was over, Hank was adopted by a Brewers executive's family.

But now a conspiracy theory, alleging that the REAL Hank is DEAD and that the dog fans fell in love with is a FAKE, has started gaining traction. Fans and bloggers have started comparing photos of the "original" Hank and his "replacement."

When asked if Hank has always been the same dog, the Brewers had this to say: "The 'real' Hank? What is real and what is an impostor? Is the Tooth Fairy the next target? Santa Claus? The Great Pumpkin?"

The Brewers held a press conference denying the allegations.

Counting Eggs Before They Hatch: Assassin's Creed Sequel Planned for 2019

Producers are really pleased with their final product and want to make more movies with Fassbender as original character Callum Lynch.

That's a lot of confidence for a movie coming out in a crowded market this December. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will have premiered the week before, and it will also be going up against the sci-fi epic Passengers starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as well as the animated family comedy Sing.

This is being pegged as a hopeful future franchise with a reported 125 million dollar budget for this first movie.

As for the plot, Callum Lynch uses a machine to tap into his ancestor's memories only to find that his ancestor was part of a secret assassin society that parkours everywhere and jumps off of high ass buildings into convenient bales of hay. He bounces between 15th Century Spain and current day to take on the Knights Templar in the present and probably fails if they want to make more sequels so get ready for that cliffhanger hook. The movie comes out December 21.

Omid Abtahi talks about playing the Antichrist's pal on 'Damien'

'Damien' is a televison show starring Merlin's Bradley James about the titular character from the movie"The Omen," now grown up and unaware that he is the Antichrist. Omid Abtahi plays Amani Golkar, Damien's best friend and a fellow war photographer.

“I haven’t done the horror genre and while ‘Damien’ to me was never really a horror show, it was amazing how much of a good time you could have doing this dark and scary stuff that’s not scary at all when you’re shooting. You’re laughing between takes and then they call, ‘Action!’ I fell in love with this cast and crew and I hope we can keep producing more seasons of it.”

Abtahi says playing Salim on the second season of Showtime's 'Sleeper Cell' has been his favorite role so far. “It was the most challenging role I’ve had to play: an Iraqi, British, Muslim, gay terrorist, a walking contradiction. It pushed me beyond my comfort zone and I grew so much as an actor in that one season.”

On being in the final "Hunger Games" movie, Abtahi said it was like being the new kid at school when everybody else already knows eachother, "but everyone was so friendly, you were partying with them that first night.”  He enjoyed "getting to experience what these big-budget films are like, showing up to work and thousands of fans screaming – not for me but for Jennifer Lawrence and Liam [Hemsworth] – just to see what that Beatles-like fandom is like."

'Damien' premieres tonight at 10 on A&E, following the season premiere of 'Bates Motel.'

GLAMOUR: What was your audition to play Wonder Woman like?
GG: I was in this weird career phase, going back and forth from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles for auditions. I kept getting pretty far—multiple callbacks, camera tests—then it would be a no. Over and over. I was like, “God, Yaron, maybe I should quit.” Then my agent called and said Warner Brothers wanted to audition me for something.

GLAMOUR: When did you learn it was for Batman v Superman?
GG: Zack [Snyder, the director] called before I met with Ben Affleck. He said, “I don’t know if you have this in Tel Aviv, but…have you ever heard of Wonder Woman?” My jaw dropped. I tried to sound nonchalant, like, “Oh yeah, Wonder Woman, sure.” [Laughs.]

GLAMOUR: Were there certain things that you felt were particularly important in portraying Wonder Woman?
GG: For BvS it was important for me that we show how independent she is. She is not relying on a man, and she’s not there because of a love story. She’s not there to serve someone else.

GLAMOUR: It’s pretty clear she doesn’t need help from anybody!
GG: She has so many strengths and powers, but at the end of the day she’s a woman with a lot of emotional intelligence. She’s loving.

GLAMOUR: We don’t really tend to think about superheroes’ hearts.
GG: And it’s all her heart—that’s her strength. I think women are amazing for being able to show what they feel. I admire women who do. I think it’s a mistake when women cover their emotions to look tough. I say let’s own who we are and use it as a strength.

Björk Working On Next Album With Arca

In an interview with Julia Davis for AnOther mag, Björk opens up more about Vulnicura, her creative process, and what lies ahead.

"I’m writing my next thing. I’m still allowing myself to be a submarine; I don’t totally have the view of it yet. It’s funny, each album is different for me. Like, what comes first? With this one it’s maybe the melodies. This is very abstract, but the melodies have a similar kind of shape. But it’s really early on, and I don’t even know if I should say, but I have got three songs down with Alejandro [Ghersi, AKA Arca], who I worked with on the last album [Vulnicura]. The last album, we sort of call it “hell” – it was like divorce! So we are doing paradise now. Utopia. We have done hell, we have earned some points."

Full interview here. Worth a read tbh.
