Tonight, One Direction performed 6 songs on a lame awards show here in Mexico called Premios Telehit that literally no one would have watched if the lads hadn't been invited, and once again they, minus Liam, disappointed me with their struggling vocals.
They performed: Drag Me Down, Perfect, Little Things, A.M., Infinity, and Story Of My Life.
This mini-concert confirms that Harry's voice is gone and he will probably need surgery soon because he can't sing anymore. He sounded kind of decent on the ballads, but not that great. Liam sounded great as usual. Niall and Louis were there.
After the lads performed, it was Simple Plan's turn, and once they finished 4/5 of Fifth Harmony took the stage. Normani didn't come to Mexico because a family member died.
Fifth Harmony performed 3 songs: I'm In Love With A Monster, Sledgehammer, and Worth It.
They sounded good during the first song, were kind of a mess during the second, and let's not even talk about the last one.
Too much lip syncing and too much freestyle dancing and too much Camila trying to make runs on every single verse she sings and Lauren trying to sing Normani's part during Worth It but having her mic too low and then messing up the choreography a little bit after that.
It wasn't pretty to watch. This isn't the same Fifth Harmony I was rooting for during their Better Together EP era, and that makes me sad.
sources: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 + my words because I watched the whole thing
