Gossip Girl's Kelly Rutherford loses custody battle appeal
-Actress Kelly Rutherford (of GG fame), has lost an appeal in her 6+ year custody battle.
-A California judge denied her request to bring her two children back to America from France, where they are living with their father. Her kids live with her ex because had his visa revoked and is no longer allowed to enter the US.
-Rutherford is upset and says that her American born children "have rights" as US citizens but the judge says the kids haven't been deported and are free to come back to the US if they want when they are of legal age.
-Guest attorney commentator suggests taking her case to the State Department.

Synopsis:
A fire happens along the Parana River where a poor tobacco farming family lives. João (Chico Díaz) is the head of the family and suspects the fire is a result of land-grabbers who want to take his farm with his daughter, Vânia (Alice Braga), and her partner, Jara (Lautaro Vilo). Kaí (Gael García Bernal), a lonesome traveler who comes out of the jungle, arrives as help.
