Pascal, J.Law, Pitt, Clooney, Hitler, Spielberg, Sandler, Apatow, Clinton, Murdoch, Murray, Drake, Snowden, Rudin, Fincher, Stone, and McCarthy all have something in common.Rundown:Pascal said that Sony needed to remove it's name from this horrible project, The Interview. They wanted to sell it as a Columbia Pictures release, so Sony directly won't get the heat. They were chickenshit of the consequences of making this movie (why was it even greenlit?) and want everyone to stay as hush-hush as possible, including getting Seth Rogen off of social media until everything is sorted out. They wanted to remove EVERY reference to Sony, including within the movie, and pinning it all on Columbia Pictures so Sony won't be too harmed/blamed.
Clooney likes to fuck a lot of people over with his antics, and continues to do so with his next directorial effort. Funnily enough, it's Hack Attack. It's an adaptation of the UK phone hacking surrounding Rupert Murdoch's empire.
"if we tell the truth in a compelling way…rupert won’t get time/warner…cnn won’t be fox….i'm so excited to do this film..and for those of you listening in…i'm the son of a news man…everything will be double sourced..so come on with your lawsuits…fuckers..."
They're forcing Bill Murray into the next Ghostbusters film. They didn't want the drama to get out...but here we are with it all in our hands. It's beautiful how the universe works.
Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, and Melissa McCarthy may be the stars of the new Ghostbusters film. Throw in Amy Schumer and Lizzy Kaplan, and we have just about everyone who is a possibility at this point.
Scott Rudin compares Fincher to Hitler. Basically, Jolie was recommending directors and said how Fincher "may be difficult", in which Rudin states, "'May be difficult’?!?!Like Hitler 'may be anti-Semitic'!!! Simmer down there, boy. Let's not waste all those nice little exclamation marks.
JLaw, GCloo, and Brad have great usernames. Lawrence's is peanutbutt, Clooney's is batmansenior, and Pitt's is whatever word he wants, followed by Phizz. He even goes to use the alias B P McWee. I guess you don't need a super serious email to be taken super seriously in Hollywood.
Sony flops yet again, with how their version of the Edward Snowden movie is a bummer. It hits a peak, and plateaus, and no one ever wants a movie to plateau so early in it. So they realized that they had no way of competing with others, they relinquished the film. Adios, muchaho!
The new Star Wars movie will revolve around Luke and Leia, and there's a possibility of Boba Fett to be getting their own episode. I mean, sure, why not?
Drake (yes, Drake) is going back to acting, and he will take on the lead role of "PE*NIS," and Kevin Hart will be playing "DAT NIGGA JIGGA." It's a Spike Lee film. It's about the conflict between traditional values and the hip hop culture in mainstream media.
Amy is back, y'all. She has a manifesto. The email reads, "Cameron never really changed anything… People don’t like people in movies who flirt with married people or married people who flirt." Followed by how Rudin never helped out on set or in editing or fixing the script. He is basically a giant ball of uselessness. She goes ham on Sorkin, saying how he is broke, wants to get paid, he had insane fees, and treats everyone like shit. Amy states, she doesn't "care if Aaron is sleeping with the girl or not" and can give zero fucks if it becomes a best seller. She is tired of the way he treats everyone like poop.
Judd Apatow and Sandler are friends. Apatow is upset because their movies were scheduled on the same date, July 24, 2015. Email reads:
"Why did you move your movie into my date? I never put my movies on Sandler's dates. Never. He hadn't either. We all respect each other. We don’t try to hurt each other. I am not pleased that you all did that to me. And the [Amy] Schumer movie is spectacular. It won't be the easy comedy weekend. You have miscalculated."
Spielberg wants to back up Clinton for the 2016 Presidential elections. Awesome! But apparently, he is backing people into corners in order to get donations from them. Keith Weaver, EVP of Worldwide Government Affairs for Sony apparently gave $32,000 and wants to check if they already took it from him so he could stop sending more money towards the campaign. I am all for getting money from the rich guys, but let it be their decision.
