Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was a big hit this summer, loved by both movies critics and goers, on yeah and that grossing $700 million worldwide. Fox dated the follow up months before the release of 'Dawn' setting its date for July 29,2016. Matt Reeves will be back to direct and, of course, the Oscar worthy Andy Serkis will return as Caesar.

While promoting the Blu-ray release of the recent film, Reeves and Serkis both dropped a few teases about the third film. Reeves described Caesar on a trajectory towards Moses-like reverence and Serkis said there’s war. Read more about the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes sequel.

Reeves said

[We want] the story to be able to connect from the human to the ape world. So first one, [Rise of the Planet of the Apes] is this sort of how [Caesar] goes from humble beginnings to becoming a revolutionary. In Dawn, he rose to the occasion of becoming a leader, a great leader in really challenging difficult times. The notion of what we’re after in the third is continue that trajectory to how he becomes the seminal figure in ape history and almost becomes sort of like an ape Moses of sorts, a kind of mythic ascension. We’re trying to play out those themes and try to explore it in this universe of exploring human nature under the guise of apes.

We are outlining the story right now, and it’s pretty exciting. I’m pretty excited about it. I think for me the idea is that—somebody called this the ‘Caesar cycle’ of these films and I loved that. I thought, ‘That’s exactly right.’ He is this unique character in that he sort of was raised as human but he’s an ape, and he wasn’t part of either.

This situation is exactly what he was trying to avoid. The oncoming war is what Dawn was all about avoiding and it wasn’t avoided, so what does that mean to him as a character and how will he lead his people through this—or his apes through this?

Serkis said

The ape community has fallen apart. There’s potential war. He’s going to have to lead the apes in darker times. I think it’s going to be very powerful.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes hits Blu-ray December 2. The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes sequel hits theaters July 29, 2016.

Michael Adam Hamilton appeared on last week's episode of ''How To Get Away With Murder'' in which he played a young gay lawyer named Julian who hooks up with the show's resident cockslut Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) in a courthouse bathroom stall.

It turns out the two had hooked up before after meeting on Humpr but Julian did not remember the details about their sexual encounter right away.

'I give him flack for that but it turns out we're both a little bit whorey,' Hamilton tells Gay Star News. 'Later we try and recreate the situation to try and remember. He wants to remind me because he's so offended.'

Hamilton says of sharing scenes with Falahee:'My favorite thing about working with him in this role is I have no idea if he's gay or straight in real life and I don't care. He did a great job - it was two actors doing a story and both committing to it. If you commit to it and not take yourself too seriously, we are doing the most simple thing in the world - it's fun.'

Hamilton is straight in real life and is married with three children - but has played several gay characters, including the lead in the film ''The 10 Year Plan'' earlier this year.

Jack Falahee who plays gay lawyer Connor Walsh on the show said in an interview last week that all of the steamy sex scenes involving Connor have been 'plot driven.'

Niecy Nash is the author of the relationship book It's Hard To Fight Naked, and the star of TVLand's "Soul Man", and ALSO the star of HBO's "Getting On," gets down and offers relationship advice with Playboy



"What I say in the book is, "A BJ a day keeps the divorce attorney away" and I say that because I feel like men are profoundly simplistic, which is the reason I wanted to call my book what I used as the title of chapter three, which is, "Stomach Full, Penis Empty: A Woman's Guide to a Happy Marriage." Keeping him fed and drained, you have no problem. We are really more complicated than they are and I think that women are more generous with oral sex because we nurture by nature. We want to be pleasing by nature, that's in our DNA, so I think that a lot of the behavior we're looking for sexually, you might have to educate your partner. Sometimes, men just assume they're going to get it and you need to be like, 'Give me mine. Ladies first.'"

She continues with a woman's inability to communicate with her male partner:

“What’s so interesting is that [women are] more willing to have conversations about ‘Do you want to get married? Where do you see this relationship going? Do you want to have children?’ than we are to ask, ‘What kind of sex do you like? What are you into there?’ You know what I mean? And that’s a conversation that a lot of people dive into but if you’re going to be with someone for the rest of your life and they’re failing to meet your sexual needs is like doing a slow dance with death. We need to make sure we can meet right there in the middle. The best thing that could have ever happened to me, and I was so fearful when I did it, was I got my tubes tied and had a hysterectomy. It gives me and my husband a different liberty — we can do what we do anytime, anywhere, at a moment’s notice. So that’s a sidebar into my situation, but I can get the party started.”



She offers advice for men on how to approach women:

“I feel like, in a perfect world, honesty would be the new monogamy so when you are meeting someone you kind of just put out there what you’re looking for. There is always somebody who wants to do it the way you want to do it, ‘I don’t want to settle down, I’m just looking to have fun.’ Oh okay, show that to five girls at least one of them is going to be like, ‘Okay, let me give you my number.’ As opposed to acting like you want something else just for them to entertain you and then you’re truth being revealed later.”

A documentary by an Oscar-nominated filmmaker who looked at pedophilia in the Catholic Church is going to shine some light on the pedobears of the entertainment industry and will name names, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The documentary paints a broad brush of sexual exploitation in the entertainment industry, and includes the allegations against Bryan Singer, but many more as well. It will cover talent manager Marty Weiss, who pleaded no contest in 2012 to two counts of committing lewd acts on a child, Bob Villard, a talent manager who at one time represented a young Leonardo DiCaprio and who pleaded no contest to a similar felony charge in 2005, and Michael Harrah, a talent manager who sat on SAG-AFTRA's Young Performers Committee, had young boys stay with him in his home and tried to take at least one of them to bed.

Hopefully it takes aim at Dan Schneider as well. He has it coming as much as Singer.
