Missy Elliott showed off her new figure when she performed at the Alexander Wang for H&M launch in NYC on Thursday, reportedly having lost 70 pounds.

"Just got off stage thanks @ALEXANDERWANGNY and @hmusa for having me perform I enjoyed," Elliott, 43, tweeted after the event with the above photo of her sporting a Mean Girls-inspired hat that read, "You Can't Workout With Us."
Missy is definitely feeling as good as she looks. In 2011, the "Lose Control" rapper revealed she was battling Graves' disease, an autoimmune illness that affects the thyroid.

"You live with it for the rest of your life," she told People. Elliott was diagnosed with the disease in 2008 after experiencing symptoms including dizzy spells, lumps in her throat, mood swings, hair loss, a fast heart rate, and bulging eyes. After radiation treatments and a year on medication, she felt better than ever.

"Under my doctor’s supervision, I’ve been off medication for about a year and I’m completely managing the condition thru diet and exercise."

Not to play favorites, but, well...It's happening.

Robin Lord Taylor is our favorite breakout star of the new TV season. As Oswald/The Penguin on Fox's Gotham, he owns every scene, giving a perfectly nuanced and multi-layered performance as the man who ultimately will become Bruce Wayne's greatest foe.

To the casual onlooker, it might seem as though Robin popped on the scene out of nowhere, but the truth is he's been auditioning—as he puts is "for anything and everything"—for quite some time, and was high on casting director Sherry Thomas and Sharon Bialy's radar for years after coming THISCLOSE to landing the role of Creepy Todd on Breaking Bad.

Yup. It was down to Taylor and Jesse Plemons, and although Plemons ultimately won out ther role (duh), I couldn't help but play a little "What If?!" with the Gotham star when he came in to our E! studios. With absolutely no forewarning (that's how we roll...sorry!), I asked Robin to do a scene as Todd from Breaking Bad and the results were astounding...

The popular prequel TV series centering on Hannibal Lecter has added another star to be the center of an arc in the third season of the NBC drama.

Deadline reported Friday that Wolverine co-star Tao Okamoto“is set for a major guest-starring arc on NBC drama series Hannibal. Okamoto will play the dark and mysterious Lady Murasaki, who possesses an alluring and classical beauty with a dark secret.”

Okamoto has a supporting role in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and according to ComicBook.com, their “sources” tell them that “Our source indicated that Japanese actress Tao Okamoto is playing Lex Luthor’s assistant, who is named ‘Mercy.’ In the comic books and Superman animated series, Mercy Graves is Lex’s personal assistant and body guard, where she is portrayed as highly intelligent and experienced in hand-to-hand combat.”

Mads Mikkelsen’s Dr. Lecter was seen leaving with Dr. Bedelia (played by Gillian Anderson). That is after he left Will Graham, Special Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), and Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) soaking in their own blood.

While nothing has been reported, it’s safe to assume the show will return in the Spring of 2015.

For two decades his insistence on wearing sunglasses, even when indoors, has been seen simply as part of his rockstar image.

But Bono, 54, has revealed that his trademark shades are instead there to alleviate difficulties caused by a chronic eye condition.

Speaking on BBC1’s Graham Norton show, the U2 frontman explained that for the past 20 years he has had glaucoma, a condition that can make eyes more sensitive to light.

Asked by Norton whether he ever removes his shades, Bono replied: “This is a good place to explain to people that I’ve had glaucoma for the last 20 years. I have good treatments and I am going to be fine.”

The singer added: “You’re not going to get this out of your head now and you will be saying, ‘Ah, poor old blind Bono.’”

Lady Gaga is now the owner of a gigantic Malibu mansion with a secret bowling alley.
Gaga bought the house for about $23 million, TMZ reports. The previous owner was Dan Romanelli, the founder of Warner Bros. Consumer Products Division, which owns TMZ.

The 10,270-square-foot home sits on six acres of beachfront property. It's got a great view, a stable for eight horses, a gorgeous pool, a gym, five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and plenty of space for Asia, Gaga's frequently Instagrammed French bulldog, to play. It also has a secret door that leads to a home theater, an 800-bottle wine cellar and a bowling alley with two lanes, Curbed LA reports.

All in all, this 'South of France' style mansion is considerably less wild than the house Jay Z and Beyonce were rumored to be looking at in Beverly Hills. That $85 million homestead is twice the size and has a wall of candy dispensers.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been cast in Game of Thrones.

The Thor: The Dark World actor has also signed on for the Dalton Trumbo biopic Trumbo, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins the HBO series as a character called Malko, who does not appear in George RR Martin's novels. No further details have been revealed of the role.

Fall Anime season started almost two weeks ago(?). Here are 5 NEW Anime to watch:



Amagi Brilliant ParkMAL
Like, the main character's name is literally Kanye West (in Japanese). Will he have an arrogant personality and make good music too? Too bad the female-lead is not called Kim, since it is a romcom series.

The names "Aisu Kyuubu" and "Kurisu Takaya" also show up. Can you guess what/who they are?
Hint: Ice Cube, Chris Tucker

PLOT: Seiya Kanie was forced into the most boring amusement park of Japan by a mysterious girl and hired by ~~real princess~~ Latifah to save the park from closing down.


Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works MAL
Are you still recovering from the end of Fate/Zero? Because I am... (weeps)

I feel like this one's pretty self-explanatory. If you like Battle Royale-type plots, Fate/Zero, and Urobuchi's writing, then watch this! Do NOT watch the other Fate/Stay Night anime, which I heard is pretty shitty, since it was made by another animation company. Saber 4ever~
If you haven't watched Fate/Zero (the prequel) and Fate/Stay Night yet, I don't think it will matter which one you watch first because both spoil some parts and twists of each other. It's all based on a visual novel that you can probably read online.

PLOT: Shirou Emiya joins the deadly competition Holy Grail War where seven mages and their holy spirit summons Servants fight til the death.


Shirobako MAL
Who doesn't love cute animated girls? Shirobako is an anime about cute girls making anime (animeception?), made by PA Works, which is known for flawless series such as Hanasaku Iroha and The Eccentric Family yet also failures like Glasslip from last season. At least PA Works' animation is always beautiful. Plus, there are street racing and donut scenes in the first episode ʕ̡̢̡*✪௰✪ૢʔ̢̡̢

PLOT: Five moe girls who try to find success in the anime indusry.


Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis MAL
Best premiere? Anime of the season? The anime version of Pirates of the Caribbean?
These are phrases brought up after the first episode aired. The official pic is a lot better but I couldn't find a cropped pic. The anime so far is a good combination of fantasy, action, and comedy with western elements. It's based on a card game but don't let that fool you!

PLOT: In a magical world, gods, demons, and humans worked together to seal away an evil the power of an evil being. The key was split into two, given to the gods and the demons. Two thousand years later, a human woman steals the gods' half of the key.


ParasyteMAL
This is a 24 episode modernized adaption of the manga of the same name, hyped up to be what Tokyo Ghoul had the potential to be last season. Great animation (with little censorship so far). Great soundtrack and interesting voice acting. If you like horror and action and maybe psychological anime, you should watch this! The team/studio working on this is actually the one that made Death Note.

PLOT: When worm-like aliens Parasytes invade earth and take over human minds, one climbs into Izumi Shinichi's body but fails and only takes over his right hand instead. Shinichi and the Parasyte work together to fight other Parasytes who attack them and devour other humans.

After a few months of rumors — fueled largely by some hand-holding backstage at the VMAs in August— Ariana Grande finally confirmed her relationship with Big Sean earlier this week, calling him “one of the most amazing men in the whole world.” On Friday (October 17), Sean sang similar praises of his now-confirmed significant other.

“She’s amazing, too,” the Detroit rapper told Angie Martinez on Power 105, responding to the singer’s quote about him. “She’s great, man. We just enjoy other. We’re happy; everything’s good.”

Hollywood actress Tippi Hedren has revealed her embarrassment and regret that she let a fully grown lion live with her family in the 1970s, saying they were ‘stupid beyond belief’ to let the beast play with her daughter Melanie Griffth, then aged just 13.

In pictures taken for LIFE magazine, the Lion – named Neil – can be seen relaxing by the family’s pool, lounging in Melanie’s bed and becoming a distraction in the office.

But Hedren has revealed that looking back she finds the pictures humiliating and admits she ‘should never have taken those risks’.

Although she stresses now that his trainer, Ron Oxley was always shadowing his animal, Hedren writes in her memoirs of how their ‘first live-in lion’ had ‘no room off limits to him’.

He loved to sleep on Melanie’s bed, she writes, and ‘one night I went down to find them both asleep, side by side’. Neil’s mouth was no more than two feet from her daughter’s body, she recalled, adding: ‘It was a sight some mothers might not relish.’
