Kim's Assistant Messes up the Rolls Royce // Kimye Date Night

Kim Kardashian got something special in her mail box over the weekend ... clumps of paint from her $300,000 Rolls Royce.

Seems Kim's assistant isn't proficient at navigating the ostentatious whip ... she tried backing out of the driveway and tore into the mailbox. What's amazing ... she didn't stop when she heard metal-on-metal.

Kim is all too forgiving ... her assistant's job is secure and the repair costs -- which could approach $20K -- will not be deducted from her salary.

During a date night with hubby Kanye West Sunday, Kim Kardashian stepped out in a super-sexy outfit that showed off lots of cleavage and hot side boob!

The 33-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star showed off her curves in the very low-cut black dress while hitting up Craig's restaurant with her man yesterday. Kim paired her boob-baring ensemble with strappy tan heels and a gold clutch. Kim kept her hair and makeup simple and let her steamy, plunging dress do all the talking.

As for their date night, Kim and Kanye arrived to Craig's around 8 p.m., just the two of them. The lovebirds only spent about half an hour eating before they were escorted through the back by restaurant staff, a source tells E! News. The manager held the door for Kim and led her to their car in the private alley. Kim looked happy and glowing and Kanye seemed more calm than usual.

In addition to her latest sexy look, Kim also stepped out in Beverly Hills on Monday flashing her bra in a chic backless white top paired with a skin-tight white skirt that hugged her signature bum. She accessorized with the same strappy heels.

TRIPLE ZERO: The disturbing rise of the ultra-skinny dress size

0
0

For a while, it seemed the size zero phenomenon was over. ‘Strong is the new skinny’ said magazine headlines – a celebration, if you like, of a more balanced and healthy attitude to body shapes.

Social media is littered with phrases such as ‘strongandlean’ ‘fit fam’ and ‘fitnotthin’. A little smug, yes, but at least encouraging a healthier philosophy towards body shape.

But, according to Grazia, this attitude is being challenged by a new - and dangerous - obsession with extreme slimness. The magazine reports that, according to LA sources: ‘Right now it’s in to be thin in Hollywood.

'It’s not about size zero anymore. These days, double-zero sizes don’t cut it either. Size triple zero is the number-one goal here.'

So why the return? ‘Although there are thankfully curvier role models out there, from Kim Kardashian to Beyoncé, it’s a cut-throat industry and it’s no secret that stars can make headlines out of being scarily skinny,’ said the same unnamed source.

The latest badge of honour for the A-list sees them starving themselves to fit into a size that is FIVE sizes smaller than a UK 10, with a miniscule 23-inch-waist.

Models, It girls and actresses are all jumping on board this new bandwagon, with Nicole Ritchie, who first sparked concern over size zero in 2006, looking thinner than ever.

Alexa Chung and Mary Charteris and actresses Kate Bosworth and Modern Family's Julie Bowen are also among those sporting pencil-thin legs and sharp collarbones.

The 23-inch waist that size triple zero demands is a healthy waist measurement for a six-to-eight year old girl, and though most UK brands don’t carry adult clothes in such a tiny size, it is available from many American brands sold on our high streets.

'While stars might be following this potentially dangerous trend hoping to grab attention in the press, young women are in turn copying them, spurred on by the ultra-thin photos these celebrities share on social media.

A-list trainer James Duigan says: 'The selfie craze in particular has intensified this, and celebrities know that if they post a picture of themselves looking skinny, with ribs on show, they’ll get attention.

'but it isn’t always real – sometimes they’re breathing in and sometimes the angle makes them look thinner than they really are.

Their weight struggles become their story. When you lose weight too quickly or too severely, it just doesn’t work. The public may look at these and see thinness, but they don’t see the injury, pain and hunger.’

Grazia Editor-in-Chief Jane Bruton says: 'For a while it seemed the size zero phenomenon was over after the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna and Daisy Lowe became body role models.

'But while these women are still celebrated, there appears to be a disturbing return in Hollywood to the worryingly thin frames we saw eight years ago when Grazia first reported on Size 00. In fact, it's gone even further with the introduction of American Size 000
.'

Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes Joining Coen Brothers''Hail, Caesar!'

0
0

Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton are in negotiations to join George Clooney and Josh Brolin in Hail, Caesar!, the Hollywood-set period comedy being made by Joel and Ethan Coen.

The Coens are producing under their Mike Zoss Productions banner alongside Working Title Films' Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan. Universal is distributing the movie.

Caesar tells the comedic tale of Eddie Mannix, a fixer who worked for the Hollywood studios in the 1950s.

As befitting a Coen brothers movie, many colorful characters populate the script, with the roles hearkening back to Hollywood’s golden age.

Tatum’s role is described as a Gene Kelly-type star while Fiennes would play Laurence Lorenz, a studio director, and Swinton will portray a powerful Hollywood gossip columnist.

Tatum most recently starred in the hit comedy sequel 22 Jump Street. His upcoming films include the Wachowski’s sci-fi epic Jupiter Ascending and wrestling drama Foxcatcher. He’s repped by UTA and Management 360.

Swinton’s recent credits include Snowpiercer and The Grand Budapest Hotel. She’s repped by UTA, Hamilton Hodell in the U.K. and Peikoff Mahan.

Fiennes also starred in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel along with Swinton. His other recent credits include The Invisible Woman, which he also directed, and Skyfall. He's repped by CAA and Dalzell & Beresford.

CW's The Flash leaked today; Spoilers About the Pilot

0
0

Earlier today, the first episode of CW's The Flash leaked online and remained there for an hour, months ahead of the pilot's planned Fall 2014 release. While several fans are already covering the overall episode, let's focus on the bombshell within the very last scene.

At the very end of the episode, Harrison Wells -- previously mentioned in Arrow, a now-wheelchair bound physicist who helps Barry access his powers and is at the helm of The Flash project -- slinks into a hidden room within STAR labs, where a small podium-style projector sits in front of him. He then rises out of his wheelchair, steps forward, and turns on the projector to display the front page of a newspaper from 2024. The headline details: The Flash going missing during a crisis. Oh, also, creepy physicist, are you suddenly a bad guy?

For fans of the DCU, this points directly at the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline, more famously known by the name of it's 2005-2006 incarnate, Infinite Crisis.
With that in mind, could this mean something huge for the DC Cinematic Universe -- or will the Crisis storyline be regulated to TV?

What this could spell out is a wild ride for the cinematic universe, with The Flash already lined up for a team-up movie alongside Green Lantern, and the Justice League already on schedule for 2016. But with such an expansive storyline, this writer doesn't think DC will go the Crisis route right off the bat.

Still, it's incredible to imagine that plans are already this big for the DCCU. If they're preparing for Crisis, they're pulling out the big guns against Marvel, which -- almost ironically -- is currently unable to pull all of it's entities together between production studios for a movie adaptation of one of their most incredible multi-universe crossovers, Civil War.

Will We See Gorilla Grodd On THE FLASH?

The pilot for the CW's The Flash leaked today, but was quickly taken down. However, many were given the chance to view the episode, and noticed some great easter eggs hidden within that point toward future character appearances.

One such easter egg points to Gorilla Grodd, one of the Flash's primary foes. In the comics, Grodd is a hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla with the power to control the minds of others. Check out the easter egg here:

Fox's 'Gotham' May Feature Mr. Freeze

0
0

Fox's "Gotham" already has a huge cast of characters, focusing on the villains who will one day antagonize Batman, but according to the director of the show's pilot, there's at least one more bad guy in store.

Director Danny Cannon spoke with HitFix about "Gotham"'s sprawling ensemble, noting that while a young Bruce Wayne will feature prominently in the series, the show isn't really about Batman, but the corruption plaguing his hometown. Iconic Batman characters like the Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy are already set to get their spotlight on the small screen, but according to Cannon, there's one villain in particular he'd like to explore further.

"I have a big pitch with [series creator] Bruno [Heller] about the Mr. Freeze character, whose origins are uncertain," Cannon told HitFix. "If I can win [DC comics exec] Geoff Johns over and if I can win Bruno over, then I look forward to the moment where that character can be realized."

That's good news for fans of the Mr. Freeze depicted in the comics, who almost literally became a cartoon on the big screen in 1997's "Batman and Robin" thanks to horrible, campy one-liners delivered by Arnold Schwarzenegger. "Gotham" seems like a much more serious affair, so we're eager to see what Cannon and co. have up their sleeves for the character this time around.

"Gotham" is set to debut sometime this fall on Fox.

Actress Kimberly McCullough will be returning to General Hospital later this summer. McCullough hinted at her own return via Twitter Monday, posting a picture of script pages with the caption, "A day in the life of a soap actor. Say 'soap-y' I dare you."

GH boss Frank Valentini confirmed that Robin will return to Port Charles, but declined to say whether she'll be reconciling with her husband Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson).

Soaps in Depth followed up McCullough’s annoucnement with a tweet of their own, confirming Robin will be returning: Yes, Robin is coming back. Do I think she's coming back to stay? No way. It'll be short-term. End marriage? Bring back Jason? Possibly.

Soaps in Depth's tweet also managed to fuel the rumor mill, as speculation over the return of character Jason Morgan escalates. It’s been rumored for weeks now, that the Young and the Restless’ Billy Miller has signed with the daytime drama as a possible Jason recast.

Soap Opera Digest shared the Kimberly McCullough return news on their Facebook page, and fans were definitely opinionated on this one.

Gary Oldman hates The Fifth Element and calls The Dark Knight movies "work"

The Dawn of The Planet of The Apes star burns some bridges in blistering interview with Playboy

If you live in the Los Angeles area and happened to hear a blood-curdling scream earlier this evening, it might well have been 20th Century Fox's investors for Dawn of The Planet of The Apes getting word that the July/August issue of Playboy Magazine includes an in-depth interview in which star Gary Oldman slams "political correctness," defends Mel Gibson's anti-semitic rants and mused about calling U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi "a f****** useless c***."

The famously private acting legend, whose stature as a rare conservative-leaning Hollywood presence has been long known, unloaded on these and a variety of topics toward the end of the lengthy interview when the subject turned to public controversies involving celebrities like Alec Baldwin and Gibson (whom Oldman describes as being "...in a town that's run by Jews and he said the wrong thing because he's actually bitten the hand that I guess has fed him") before segueing into a rant against Jon Stewart and Bill Maher being able to "hide behind comedy and satire." He also came to the defense of a Creationist schoolteacher being sued for discrimination by the parents of a Buddhist student.

Elsewhere in the interview (which is quite a fascinating if lengthy read), Oldman talks candidly about raising his sons, his battle with alcoholism and subsequent sobriety. He also offers negative appraisals of some of his most famous roles, some of which are guaranteed to shock many fans: Sid & Nancy? "I didn't want to make it in the first place." Immortal Beloved: "I was the wrong person to play Beethoven." The Fifth Element: "Oh no. I can't bear it." He also dismissed his fan-favorite roles in the Harry Potter and Dark Knight franchises with "It was work."

It wasn't all doom and gloom, though: Oldman did offer praise to the script of Apes, along with expressing admiration for conservative political commentator Charles Krauthammer, David Bowie and Demi Moore (who he credited with convincing him to get sober over a decade ago). After Apes, he will next be seen in Child 44.

Gary Oldman issues apology to Anti-Defamation League

0
0

Gary Oldman has apologized for offending the Jewish community in a controversial interview with Playboy. The actor, who gave the interview to promote Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, was accused by the Anti-Defamation League of spreading anti-Semitic stereotypes:

Dear Gentlemen of the ADL:

I am deeply remorseful that comments I recently made in the Playboy Interview were offensive to many Jewish people. Upon reading my comments in print - I see how insensitive they may be, and how they may indeed contribute to the furtherance of a false stereotype. Anything that contributes to this stereotype is unacceptable, including my own words on the matter.

If, during the interview, I had been asked to elaborate on this point I would have pointed out that I had just finished reading Neal Gabler's superb book about the Jews and Hollywood, An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews invented Hollywood. The fact is that our business, and my own career specifically, owes an enormous debt to that contribution.

I hope you will know that this apology is heartfelt, genuine, and that I have an enormous personal affinity for the Jewish people in general, and those specifically in my life. The Jewish People, persecuted thorough the ages, are the first to hear God's voice, and surely are the chosen people.

I would like to sign off with "Shalom Aleichem"—but under the circumstances, perhaps today I lose the right to use that phrase, so I will wish you all peace - Gary Oldman.

Studio shortage threatens $100m Artemis Fowl film

0
0

Ireland's attempts to capture the $100m-budget Hollywood production Artemis Fowl, based on the fantasy novels of Wexford author Eoin Colfer, may be hit by delays in developing new studio space.

It is understood that senior Hollywood executives have visited Ireland in recent weeks to view potential locations and infrastructure. Disney and the Weinstein company are developing the movie, which has been given the green light to film. Industry insiders believe that the Artemis Fowl books could be turned into a major Hollywood franchise – becoming "the Irish Harry Potter". Filming movies of the eight books in Ireland could see investment well over €1bn from the Hollywood backers, generating thousands of high-quality jobs.

"This shortage of space is a serious issue and we would say that Ireland is losing business as a result. Whilst internationally, reaction to our new tax credit is very positive, there are genuine concerns about the lack of available studio space in Ireland to match the new business potential," according to Ardmore Studios boss Siun Ni Raghallaigh.

Ashford Studio founder Joe O'Connell has submitted a major planning application to expand his Wicklow Studio. However, his plans hinge on a change in government policy in relation to studios. Mr O'Connell has met with Taoiseach Enda Kenny and key officials from the Department of Arts and Department of Finance.

He is seeking to have treatment of studios changed from being classed as commercial buildings to being classed as strategic infrastructure. This would enable the studio to pay less in planning and development fees and business rates. Mr O'Connell estimates that he could pay business rates of up to €3m based on the size of his planned sound stages. This would render the project uneconomic.

Mr O'Connell believes that attracting Artemis Fowl to his studio would be an enormous coup and has pencilled in plans for a dedicated visitor centre as the jewel in the crown of his expansion project. He cites the experience of New Zealand, where 10 per cent of tourists visit the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit sets.

Last week, the Irish Film Board sought expressions of interest from key industry players about what they could commit to building if the State stepped in with an incentive package. "We believe that the changes to the Section 481 tax incentive have been very helpful and if there's something that can be done with the studios that would be helpful too," according to Irish Film Board chief executive James Hickey.

It is believed that high-level departmental meetings have discussed a government scheme to promote new movie infrastructure such as sound stages.

The shortage of film studio space has led to a number of movie projects being made elsewhere. Ashford Studios recently turned away a Chinese delegation as it did not have the space as it is hosting the $35m Vikings series.

Northern Ireland's film industry is becoming increasingly competitive, fuelled by tax breaks and direct grants. Northern Ireland Screen – the state film agency – has a £43m fund to attract productions. Northern Ireland has just snagged the Brad Pitt project The Lost City of Z, which may star Sherlock pin-up Benedict Cumberbatch.

It is understood that a number of international studios and movie infrastructure groups have considered building new facilities in Ireland.

Two industry sources told the Sunday Independent that Pinewood Studios, the home of the James Bond movie franchise, was interested in partnering with an Irish group about creating new studio space or facilities here.

A spokesman for Pinewood dismissed this, saying that the studio was concentrating on its expansion plans in the UK, after receiving the green light for a major redevelopment of its campus last week.

Fans of "Survivor" feel very close to the contestants of the show after getting to know them. On Tuesday, reports started to come out that Caleb Bankston (on right) passed away after a railroad accident. So far none of the big media outlets have picked up on this story but it is spreading like wildfire among the "Survivor" fans. Survivor Oz went to his Facebook page to share the news. He simply said, "Unconfirmed reports Caleb Bankston has passed away. Our thoughts are with Colton (left) right now at this difficult time."

The Republic shared a report about an accident that did kill someone. They do not share a name but it is being passed away that this is the cause of Caleb's death. It simply says a man died after an Alabama Warrior Railway in Birmingham accident.

If you don't remember Caleb, he played in "Survivor: Blood vs. Water." He was the loved one of Colton Cumbie. This was his fiance and the two were obviously very close. Watching them play you could see that he was Colton's rock and what kept him strong. These two had plans to get married and this has to be heartbreaking for Colton to go through. Nobody has ever had anything bad to say about Caleb at all.

The contestants from his season of "Survivor" have started to change their profile pictures to a picture of him. Several of them now have pictures of themselves with Caleb up on their page. Ciera changed her Facebook picture two hours ago. Jonathan Penner went to Twitter to try to find out if the news is true. At this time, the answers he has been receiving are just fan asking if it is true or not.

There is no information about exactly what happened or when the accident occurred. More information should continue to come out about this story.

Source - States as unconfirmed but several castaways from Survivor and other CBS reality shows have confirmed it.

I wasn't a fan of Colton but Caleb was awesome and you could see during BvW how much they cared for each other. Their wedding was set for this coming October. So sad :(

Barack Obama England World Cup mugs are selling fast

Unofficial England World Cup mugs, with the image of US president Barack Obama mistakenly used instead of defender Chris Smalling, are proving popular after being put on sale online.

They are now being sold off as novelty items.

A quarter of the consignment of 2,000 mugs were bought by people in the US.

Wholesale Clearance UK based in Poole, Dorset, bought the mugs as factory seconds after a mix-up by an employee at the manufacturers.

Andy White of Wholesale Clearance UK, which specialises in buying end-of-line stock and factory seconds, said it had knowingly bought the mugs when they were offloaded by a merchandising company.

He said a new employee had been tasked with sourcing images for a range of "unofficial market-stall type mugs", but the incorrect image was missed when the designs were checked.

Mr White said there were "not that many left", with 500 being sold to US buyers.

He admitted to having kept one for himself.

"Every now and again something strange crops up and, with the interest in social media, it goes crazy.

"They are a real novelty value. Once they are gone, they're gone."

The Dorset company in question (whose blushes we shall protect for now....maybe!) was given the seemingly easy job of sourcing royalty free pictures of each England squad player to use on the England mugs – along with other accompanying items such as England coasters, England mouse mats etc.

They passed this onto to their young, bright eyed and bushy tailed new apprentice. The designs were proofed and signed off by the Boss, who had clearly had a heavy night with the lads playing poker and before he’d had his first vat of coffee the following morning.

Due to our ongoing commitment to help local companies get their products noticed, last Wednesday 2,000 of each of the England items came into the warehouse. We eagerly unpacked them and on close inspection it turned out that the Chris Smalling cup had Barack Obama’s head on instead of Chris's.

The apprentice claims that he used that well known search engine, Google, to source the pictures. The thing is he’s more of a rugby fan and not very clued up on football. Suffice to say that when he Google image searched ‘Chris Smalling’ he copied the first picture he liked the look of and the result was that the President of the United States has ended up on an England cup instead of the English defender.

Justin Bieber was in a car accident in Bev Hills Tuesday at 2 PM PDT ... after a car driven by a paparazzo was chasing the Escalade in which Bieber was a passenger -- eyewitnesses tell TMZ.

We're told the Escalade was going down Canon Drive at a fast clip, trying to lose the photog, when a BMW was pulling out of a parking structure near Bouchon restaurant. An eyewitness tells us ... the BMW misjudged the speed of the Escalade and smashed into it.

We're told Bieber almost immediately got out of the SUV and into another car and sped off.

Law enforcement tells us no one was injured.
