Keegan Allen: James Franco wanted to 'blow up Twitter' with same-sex bed selfie

James Franco strategically got in bed with Keegan Allen in an attempt "blow up Twitter."

"I went to go say hey to him in his dressing room," the "Pretty Little Liars" star told E! News about the day they posted a "selfie in bed" together.

Allen, 24, recently attended Franco's Broadway show, "Of Mice and Men," and when visiting the "Spring Breakers" star backstage, things took an interesting turn.

"There were a lot of people there and I asked him, 'What's the way to do the best selfie in bed?' and he showed me," Allen recalled.

Franco didn't only demonstrate the ways of a bed selfie, he decided to join the 24-year-old actor.

"Then he climbed in really quickly and he was like, 'Let's blow up Twitter for a second,'" Allen said.

The men could be seen lying side-by-side in bed shirtless with a blanket covering them partially in the pic Franco posted Tuesday.

"Time to go nuts!!!!" he captioned the pic.

Later, Allen posted a similar pic, only they weren't so serious, indicating the whole thing was a joke they were having a lot of fun with.

"He is a trip," Allen said of his "Palo Alto" co-star. "He's a real trip. He's great to work with, an incredible director and a really fun guy to hang out with."

Franco upped the ante when he followed up the same-sex bed selfie with a nearly nude bathroom selfie on Friday.

The 35-year-old actor could be seen wearing only white underwear that was pulled down with his right hand covering his manhood. He quickly deleted the posting an hour later.

Former British No 1 dies after losing her fight with liver cancer
Baltacha, who was British number one for nearly three years, retired from the sport in 2013.
"We are heartbroken beyond words at the loss of our beautiful, talented and determined Bally," said husband Nino Severino.
Baltacha learned she had liver cancer in mid-January 2014, two months after retiring from professional tennis and only a few weeks after marrying.
Baltacha was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis, a chronic liver condition which compromises the immune system, aged 19.
Despite her illness and multiple injury problems, Baltacha went on to reach the Australian Open third round in 2005 and 2010 and reached a career-high world ranking of 49.
She won 11 singles titles, made the third round of Wimbledon in 2002 and was part of Great Britain's Fed Cup team for 11 years.

Exiting DOOL Star James Scott Admits To Taking Hallucinogenics & Calls Soap Fans Fucking Idiots!

James Scott has stunned his fans by quitting the show. The British leading man was one of the most popular stars in the daytime TV universe and his departure has an almost soap opera-like storyline. Earlier this spring, Scott went to Peru, smoked Ayahuasca and had an awakening.

“I spent six days in the jungles of Peru doing Ayahuasca with the shaman. It was the single most positive experience of my life. I sat in a tent in the jungle, on the amazons with three shaman blowing tobacco smoke into my crown, realigning my chakras and my energy, while I hallucinated for four to six hours. I mean, this is all hard to explain. It’s very spiritual. This is a medicine that the people of South America have been using for years to have a relationship with a higher consciousness. It sounds wacky when you say it, but it was truly the most important thing I have ever done. I came back a very different person,” Scott said.

The TODAY show recently did a piece on this LSD-like medicine (it’s legal in Brazil) after Lindsay Lohan talked about drinking Ayahuasca tea after a miscarriage.

James also defended co-star Kate Mansi: She is an actress on a television show. What are they being mean to her for? She gets up, she comes to work. That is what she does for a living. Those people are just fucking idiots … and you can quote me on that.”

In a statement, Scott said he wanted to thank the producers and NBC: “for graciously supporting me in my decision in leaving the show to take personal time.”

Victoria’s Secret: Failing to Sell Sport Bras Because No One Wants Them

$

If the excess boxes of sports bras are any indication, it would appear women may not be very focused on sporting their cleavage or padding their chests while working out.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Victoria's Secret is overinventoried in the category, after ordering more sports bras than it was able to sell.

"We bought enough to hit a home run, but we hit about a double or a triple," L Brands Chief Financial Officer Stuart Burgdoerfer said. He made the comments earlier this week at the Barclays Retail and Consumer Discretionary Conference. "We have grown that business very nicely, but we bought a lot of sports bras," he said.

The L Brands-owned lingerie purveyor said it expects to be able to sell the sports bras without bringing markdowns into play. Its sport offerings including workout apparel have been performing well, with the company listing sport, lingerie and beauty as three of its strong categories during the fourth quarter.

Real Housewives of Melbourne: post-reunion Gina interview

$

TONIGHT’S Real Housewives of Melbourne reunion promises to be explosive — in the 30-second promo alone, viewers are treated to one walkout and Gina Liano calling another of the Housewives an “insignificant arse hair” (we’re going to hazard a guess she’s not talking to Chyka there).

The past few months have been a whirlwind for 47-year-old South Yarra barrister Liano, as on-screen attacks from fellow Housewives Andrea and Lydia have been countered by a groundswell of public support.

We spoke to the woman herself to find out the truth. Was the bullying on the show as bad as it seemed? Will she return for a second season? And who has she refused to work with again?

Q. We won’t see the reunion episodes before they go to air, and we understand you won’t either. What was filming like?
A. Can I tell you, it was pretty much just another 16 hours of the behaviour I experienced at Mission Beach [sighs]. Hopefully the audience find it entertaining and it doesn’t create another uproar like every other episode has, but I suspect it might.

Q. The viewers have really rallied behind you throughout the season.
A. The support has really made it all worthwhile. It’s renewed my faith in the Australian audience to see that they’re so aware of what’s going on. I’ve virtually had to say nothing on social media — they’ve fought my case all the way.

What seems to have happened with the audience is they’ve seen that I’ve copped enough, and if anyone wants to give me any more, they’ve got no tolerance — they tell people to leave me alone. And among the thousands of positive messages after each episode, I’ll get maybe one bad one a month — and it’ll be something about my breasts being fake [laughs].
More: Gina jets off to LA for surprising catch-ups.

Q. As Andrea and Lydia’s attacks on you wore on, it seemed as though they assumed the viewers would take their side.
A. I think so. Look, it was a character assassination and they were trying desperately. It’s hard to know what they were thinking — it seems they lacked a bit of foresight, not ‘forsyth’ as Andrea would say [laughs].

I don’t know how they’d think for one minute that their behaviour would be endearing in any way, but I think they put that aside with the mission to persuade the audience of who they think I am. I guess they thought if they kept banging on about it, eventually the audience would be persuaded.

Q. Your reactions to some of their behaviour have been very funny to watch, from doing your make-up mid-argument to telling Andrea to get her testosterone levels checked. Are you playing up to the camera or are you really this camp?
A. That’s me in real life. I tend to not engage when someone’s being aggressive — it takes a lot to get me to respond. The producers are waiting for trainwreck moments, but that’s not me.

I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve been harassed or bullied like that, so it was all new to me. I think the attitude behind it was: I was looking at them like they were freaks. I thought, if they want to communicate with me, they can step up to the mark — I’m not going to go down to their level to get my point across. Of course, they didn’t want to do that, they stayed right down where they were!

Q. Many of the problems seemed to arise because some of the other Housewives just couldn’t move past the fact you’d used the ‘C’ word.
A. Well, I said it to Janet because I was angry, and it was in the context of having been called that myself.

Q. So it was getting thrown around left and right anyway?
A. Exactly! No one should really care. At the end of the day, if I’d walked up to one of them and said ‘You’re a blank’, like Jackie did to me, I think that’s much more offensive than to have a private, upset conversation with a girlfriend in the bathroom. I might swear to be colourful or punctuate or be humorous, but I’d never swear at someone.

Q. Back in episode eight, some of Lydia’s harsher comments about you were edited out of the broadcast at the eleventh hour. Were you disappointed the viewers didn’t get to see exactly what she was saying about you?
A. Yes and no. Being spoken about like that on camera is really embarrassing, so you carry the burden and stigma of that. But at the same time, I think the [editing] took away from Lydia’s character evolving, because she was truly revealing herself. The motivation for taking it out was not to protect me; it was to protect her, because she was receiving such a serious reaction from the audience that the [producers] really had to step in and exercise their duty of care.

In a way, the editing highlighted it all the more — it became a story and a topic of conversation in itself. They also took out Chyka saying, ‘If this is the way the girls are going to talk about Gina, I can’t be friends with them,’ which was a shame.

Q. You mention the backlash Lydia received and it’s true that, among all the #teamgina support, there have been people out there threatening and harassing Andrea and Lydia to show their support for you. How do you feel about that?
A. I interact as much as possible with my followers, and if there’s something inflammatory or offensive, I ignore it. I really steer clear of nasty comments, because I don’t want to condone or encourage it.

But I did say to the production company that showing me calling Lydia the ‘c’ word in the bathroom really just gives the audience a license to call her that. I’ve said it, they’re following, and how surprised can we get when it’s what we’ve delivered to their lounge rooms? It’s a fine line, and it’s difficult to judge people who are reacting harshly, because the content really sets the standard, in a way.

Q. Given you’ve had such a bumpy ride with the show, why did you initially decide to sign on?

A. I’ve got a spirit of adventure and I know I’ve got a lot to give. I wouldn’t have signed the contract if I didn’t think I could deliver what they wanted. I think I can be really hilarious, I thought the experiences I’ve had in life could be compelling — cancer, my profession, being a mother, my fashion, the fact that I’ve got a bit of Kath & Kim going on. I just thought, why not?

Q. There are a lot of rumours swirling about who’ll stay and who’ll go for a second season. Given you’re the most popular cast member, it seems you have the upper hand at the moment ...
A. I haven’t had discussions with the production company yet. It hasn’t been confirmed to us that there will be a second season yet, but I suspect strongly that there will be. You can hazard a guess though, can’t you? If something’s rating well, Foxtel will continue to do it.

Insofar as cast members, I’ve spoken to the production company and said there are certain cast members I don’t want to work with again. I probably put it a bit stronger than that, actually, because I think signing them for a second season gives them a license to continue their bad behaviour. I don’t want to be subjected to it and I don’t think the audience want to watch it either. I want to entertain the audience; I don’t want to put them in a situation where they’re not having fun and they turn off.

Come & Get It! Selena Gomez puts her sprawling Tarzana property up for sale for a cool $3.5 million!

So many mansions so little time, what is a girl to do?
Selena Gomez has just listed her Tanzana, California, home for sale but she will hardly be out on the street, as it is just her spare estate.
The 21-year-old also has a mega mansion in the nearby area of Calabasas, so has decided to offload the six bedroom home and make herself a little money while she does it.

The Come & Get It songstress first purchased the house for $2.75 million but now the star has the 6,630 square-feet ranch style property on the market for $3.495 million.
The home certainly offers the right buyer a lot of bang for their buck, as the property is like a number of mini houses in one, featuring multiple designer appointed wings perfect for guests or extended entourages.
According to realtor Craig Knizek's listing, the home is 'one of the most beautiful homes in the Valley'.
Despite the house being subject to a stalker scares, including the most recent in January when a family member caught an 19-year-old man allegedly lurking near the property, the Agency's lists new security measures put in place by the star as one of the assets of the property.
According to the listing, the house has 'secure private gates surround the entire one acre flat property'.
But the new owners will certainly not feel like they are imprisoned, as the giant block also boasts designer landscaped outdoor spaces.
They will also have plenty to do, with Selena's palatial mansion also featuring a stunning free form pool with spa as well as a basketball court with lights, a professional grade gym, and for the more retiring types, a bocce ball court.
While the singer never got around to it, there is also space for a full size tennis court.
Leaving no detail over looked, the former girlfriend of Justin Bieber also had her own fruit orchard and three separate dog kennels.
Clearly the home of a pop star the house is also a perfect party pad.
As the realtor explains: 'The newly built downstairs Media room has a bar which opens to the outdoor BBQ and fire pit lounge area.  What amazing parties you can have!'
That is if you don't get lost first as you make your way around the home, which has six bedrooms - including a guest suite with its own separate entrance and kitchen - eight bathrooms, a formal dining area, living room and butler's pantry and chef's kitchen.
Clearly having a designer work on every aspect of the home, Selena has chosen a neutral colour scheme of whites, greys and tans.
The home also makes sure to incorporate the stunning grounds thanks to extensive windows and French doors.
While many would find it hard to give such a property up, Selena can sleep easy knowing her Calabasas property is even more impressive.
Just last month the star bought the $3.69 million property, which is in a gated alcove in the exclusive area.
While the home only has, shock horror, five bedrooms, it its larger at 7,200 square-feet.

Jordin Sparks on weight: "This is how much I weigh, and I'm ok with it..anywhere from 155 to 161lbs"

Not many women would be brave enough to declare on television how much they weigh.

But that's exactly what American Idol star Jordin Sparks did as she talked to the Today show on Friday.

During the segment Love Your Selfie, Reclaiming Beauty the 24-year-old star opened up to anchor Jenna Bush Hager about her amazing transformation and losing 50lbs.

Revealing what she weighs now, the No Air singer explained: 'I fluctuate a bit. I go anywhere from 155 to 161lbs.'

'That it is how much I weigh, and I'm okay with it. It feels really good,' she added.

At 6ft tall, the One Step at a Time star has always been stunning. However, there have been times when she felt less than beautiful.

Sparks said: 'I had gotten really sick. And I was about to celebrate my birthday and I was like: " should be in the prime of my life right now. I shouldn't be feeling like this. I really need to make my health a priority."

She explained: 'I was comfortable with how I looked before, but it was about really focusing on become healthier,

'And then my body changed, which was awesome. But it wasn't about being a size zero, or anything like that.' Jordin said.

Earlier this month, the star proudly displayed her trim figure at a Las Vegas pool party.

The singer wore a lime green bikini with orange, white and black stripes with a mini coordinated wrap, showing off her shapely legs.

The pop diva was at the Venetian Casino to support her boyfriend Jason Derulo, 24, who was hosting the pool party. She and Jason have been dating for over three years.

Later on Friday, Jordin attended the 21st Annual Race to Erase MS Gala at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles.

Looking striking in an electric blue halter-neck jump suit the star glowed, smiling from ear-to-ear.

The event featured live performances from CeeLo Green, Natalie Cole and Steven Tyler.

J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan Deliver a Star Wars Day Message

$

I hope you had a happy Star Wars Day. This multi-billion dollar franchise that has defined generations never really gets the attention it deserves, but thankfully, “May the 4th” sounds like “May the Force”, and the rest is history. Before 2012, this “holiday” could only look back at the main films, but now it can look forward as the Star Wars sequels are underway. Although the main cast was announced last Friday, Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J Abrams and co-writer Lawrence Kasdan did have a brief message for the fans. Kasdan mentions that they’re still working on the script (don’t freak out; these are probably the kind of tweaks that happen for most major productions), and Abrams adds, “as casting announcements continue…” so it looks like we weren’t done with the casting news on this movie after all. Excuse me while I cut off my head with a lightsaber.

“Star Wars: Episode VII” has a good shot at joining “Avatar” and “Titanic” in hitting $2 billion at the worldwide box office, industry analysts say. “The casting for this new film is perfect from a commercial standpoint,” BoxOffice.com Vice President and Senior Analyst Phil Contrino told TheWrap. “Bringing back the original cast is brilliant, because it cements the link with the franchise's incredible legacy, and so is going without A-list actors in the new roles, because it keeps the focus on the brand,” Contrino said.

Even if hardcore fans of the franchise aren't totally happy with the casting picks, the excitement surrounding them could help build momentum — which is already at fever pitch. “It's a time-honored tradition for fans of that series to complain about George Lucas and any number of other things surrounding the franchise — and then they go to see the movies five times,” Contrino said.

James Cameron's “Titanic” and “Avatar” are the highest-grossing movies ever at the worldwide box office. The romantic sea disaster epic brought in $2.1 billion in 1997, a record that stood until the futuristic 3D sci-fi saga rolled up a staggering $2.7 billion in 2009. Disney, which was radio silent on Tuesday, will want to manage expectations for “Episode VII.” And it's worth noting that forecasting box-office returns on a movie more than a year-and-a-half-ahead of its release involves more speculation than data analysis.

Wall Street analysts at this point aren't as bullish; last summer, Credit Suisse's Michael Senn predicted $1.2 billion in box office for “Episode VII. This week, Cowan & Co. projected $1.2 billion and FBR Capital Markets said it would take in $700 million domestically — and net $1 billion overseas.

Nonetheless, industry analysts are convinced that the sequel will be one for the record books. Keeping the focus on the brand is just what Disney needs to do if they want “Star Wars: Episode VII” to hit record heights, agreed Rentrak Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian. “We're talking about what, for many people, is the biggest movie brand in their lifetimes, one that evokes all sorts of memories, imagery — and box-office expectations,” he said.

Since “A New Hope” opened in 1977, the six previous “Star Wars” movies and their re-releases have brought in more than $4.5 billion — but no film in the series has hit the $1 billion mark. That's not surprising; “Titanic” is the only movie released before 2009 on the Top 10 list. The highest-grossing entry in the “Star Wars” series remains “Episode I: The Phantom Menace,” which took in $983 million globally in 1999.

“It clearly has a built-in audience, but how the movie is received will make a difference,” Contrino said. “If it's really good, some people are going to go see it several times. If it's not, that won't happen.” The box office is a high-profile piece of the franchise's overall value, but it's far from being the only factor. With returns from DVDs, books and toy sales factored in, the series has generated more than $27 billion in revenue, according to the research institute Statistic Brain.

Even by “Star Wars” standards, the anticipation around “Episode VII” is unprecedented, Dergarabedian said. “A few years ago, people thought they'd never see a new ‘Star Wars’ movie, much less a full-fledged franchise,” he said. Disney chairman Robert Iger has said the studio is planning on several more “Stars Wars” movies in the coming years.

The North American release date for “Episode VII” — Dec. 18, 2015 — is the same date that “Avatar” opened on five years ago. “That's significant, and ideal,” Contrino said. “It will surely have a huge opening, but it will also have the whole month of January to keep on playing. I can't imagine a lot of other studios are going to get in its way.”

That's a formula “Avatar” followed to its record haul, establishing new standards for the highest-grossing third-through-seventh weekends domestically. And after just 41 days in release, “Avatar” had established new records in 24 foreign markets. “With the incredible growth of the foreign markets, I think the sky is the limit this time around,” said Contrino.

“Phantom Menace” is the biggest earning film of franchise overseas with $552 million, which represented roughly 56 percent of its worldwide haul. Largely due to the explosive growth of the foreign markets, today's biggest blockbusters typically bring in roughly 70 percent of their grosses from overseas.

Sex Sent Me To The ER: Couple’s sex toy use in the supermarket lands woman in the emergency room

Things didn’t go as planned for a couple who took their sexcapades to the supermarket.

Dennis and Ashley decided to try out their remote-control vibrator while grocery shopping.

As Ashley perused the aisles, Dennis activated the device from a different spot in the store.

“I had no idea when my pants were going to start buzzing next,” Ashley recalls in a new clip for TLC’s “Sex Sent Me to the ER.” The show uses actors to reenact and recreate the scene.

“I’m watching her, and I’m having the best time,” her boyfriend adds in the video.

As luck would have it, Ashley ran into a chatty friend near the produce. Dennis seized his chance and turned on the adult toy again.

Ashley said she started “stuttering and mumbling” and tried to check out of the conversation. But her friend wasn’t having it.

“She’s just going on and on,” Ashley said. “Little does she know that I’m, like...getting close to this point.”

Ashley finally got away, but it wasn’t long before her boyfriend switched on the vibrator yet another time.

“I’m staring obviously way too long at this one apple. I’m like, wow, this is getting really intense.”

She then fell to the ground, hitting her head on the way down.

“I kind of was still in a funny mood because I’m still thinking that I was the one that made her fall down,” Dennis said. “So, when I approached her, I was like, ‘Wow, was it good?’”

It wasn’t long before the panic set in, and Ashley was eventually taken to the emergency room.

'Supernatural' star Misha Collins: 'TSA America: Level Orange' web series

"Supernatural" fans know Misha Collins as the angel Castiel, but the actor has been busy with another project recently. "TSA America: Level Orange" is a web series coming from Collins -- he wrote and produced it along with wife Vicki Vantoch and Phillip Schneider.

The "funny and absurd" comedy takes place at one of the most horrifying places on Earth: a TSA checkpoint. Along with Collins, the series stars Danneel Ackles (wife of Collins' "Supernatural" co-star, Jensen Ackles) as a rather pregnant character. Apparently Ackles truly was pregnant at the time, but she had to wear a fake belly to make it more obvious.

Collins hosted the premiere during a webcast on Saturday (May 3) from the "Supernatural" convention in Washington, DC.

While the full video of the premiere episode is still coming to the Internet at large, two trailers for the comedy give a feel for what's coming.

Without Mariah Carey, there would be no Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy

Where do I start with Mariah Carey?

Musically, Mariah Carey's had a tough run of late. Her long-delayed upcoming album, now titled Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse, was slated to come out last spring before being pushed back several times. With one exception, its would-be lead singles failed to make a significant dent on the charts. Just a few weeks ago it sounded like Carey might pull a "Beyonce", and spring the album on us unawares, judging from a confusing interview she gave to Billboard.

Then last week, the album's release date, May 27, was finally confirmed by a teaser that is as strange and rambling as the album's title. The announcement has been called "weird", "insane", "bizarre", and "ridiculous", descriptors that are rarely far away when Carey comes up these days. If you're not a long-time fan, or are only familiar with Carey's current public persona, it's easy to see how such an awkward promotional move would elicit little more than an eye roll.

And we should chuckle at her weirdness, to be sure. But Carey deserves to be taken seriously as an artist as well, and, unfortunately, she hasn't always gotten her due in that regard. Carey's popular accomplishments - she has the second-most No. 1 songs of any pop artist, for instance, behind only the Beatles (and possibly tied with Elvis, depending whom you ask)- are often downplayed by critics who don't take her influence on the music world seriously, as Jody Rosen pointed out in Slate several years ago. She's long been credited - or blamed - for spawning a breed of "over singers". (Rosen called her "the most influential vocal stylist of the last two decades".) Her vocal acrobatics are frequently dismissed as "passionless", her songs scorned as fluff.

But don't blame Mimi for the diminishing returns represented by her impersonators. She's better than all of them. Not only has she co-written the overwhelming majority of her hits since her career began almost 25 years ago, she's also proven capable of switching up musical styles effortlessly. After taking creative control of her career, she went from a pop singer with a big voice to sultry diva who sang with Ol' Dirty Bastard (on the excellent, Puff Daddy-produced "Fantasy (Remix)"), Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony (the slow-jam deep cut "Breakdown"), and Jermaine Dupri (her smash hit "We Belong Together", among several others). Her label assumed this would be career suicide. But she was a pioneer for the hip hop-pop hybrid that is now inescapable, paving the way for Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry and others to embrace a more hip-hop sound.

But back, for a minute, to her weirdness. One of the things that makes Carey so endearing to fans is that she wholeheartedly embraces her idiosyncracies. She's not afraid to get goofy with her lyrics ("If we were two Lego blocks even the Harvard University graduating class of 2010 couldn't put us back together again") or her music videos, signaling to everyone that while she may take her work seriously, she's not afraid to poke fun of herself.

There's much more to Carey than her feuds with rap stars and her heavily Instagrammed marriage to Nick Cannon. In fact, a remarkable number of her songs hold up beautifully.
