Late Friday night whilst we were busy observing the good traditions of the public holiday, something very suspicious was brought to our attention. It seems that the chaps of One Direction have taken it upon themselves to regurgitate our original concept, as seen in our award-winning clip for Clubfeet’s Everything You Wanted. Don’t get us wrong, we here at Oh Yeah Wow are big One Direction fans and are envious of their ability to maintain flawless hairdos.

    You can compare here:

(yes 1d fans, we are aware ours doesn’t have the creepy facial morph stuff, we’re specifically talking about the 3rd act)

Sadly, we’re actually kind of used to it now. This isn’t the first time that the concept for this video has been hijacked; we have experienced plagiarism from all over the globe, including bands from Japan, Turkey, Thailand and Poland, some of which have been taken down due to so much public backlash.

To be crystal clear, OYW has nothing against creative evolution. Artists constantly reinterpret other works that have inspired them and we’re fine with people taking a technique and using it to create something new- our clip for Gotye was loosely based on the genius short film Tango by Zbigniew Rybczynski, for example.

The wider problem is, that plagiarism and copycatting is becoming increasingly common and acceptable. When did we, society, become so complacent as to allow this kind of behaviour to become normal practice in the media industry? It is for this very reason we have decided (this time) to rally some support- for the last thing we want is a generation of kids labelling our Clubfeet video a One Direction rip off in years to come.

Considering the sleep deprivation one must endure to create an original piece with practically no budget, you can start to understand the annoyance we might feel when some affluent young bucks and a director devoid of creativity, decide to effectively steal (and subsequently dilute) our idea.

Any sharing and posting you can do for us would be much appreciated. Below are the twitter ID’s of band members and the Director/production Company. Be sure to use the hashtag #nodirection and link to this article.

She described her first Vogue cover as 'a dream come true,' despite a backlash from fashion fans and loyal readers.

And a month on, it seems Kim Kardashian still can't quite get enough of herself on the front of the style bible.

The 33-year-old reality star and sister Kendall Jenner hit a Los Angeles newsstand on Tuesday to buy souvenir stacks of the magazine.

And the Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras didn't miss a thing as the curvy star flicked through a slew of other glossy publications.

Luckily Kendall was on hand to help carry her haul, and chatted with Kim during the shopping trip.

Kim's Vogue cover surprised many in the fashion world, with a slew of readers threatening to cancel their subscriptions.

But editor Anna Wintour's decision appears to have paid off, with copies of the magazine flying off the shelves.

According to the New York Post, the controversial April issue is set to sell around 400,000 copies.

Blake Fielder-Civil has finally visited his ex-wife Amy Winehouse's grave - nearly three years after she died.

    article-2611308-1D48ED6100000578-711_634x369 (1)
The Back to Black hitmaker died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011 aged just 27, but Blake, who once described the late singer as the 'love of my live', hasn't been able to face visiting the cemetery until this month.
New images show the 31-year-old looking emotional as he kneels down by Amy's graveside, which she shares with her late grandmother, Cynthia Levy, at Edgwarebury Lane Cemetery in Edgware, North London.
He later put his sunglasses on as he walked away from Amy's grave and carried his suit jacket on his arm.
The former couple married in Florida in May 2007 – two years after they first met – but their relationship was often the subject of controversy, such as later that year when they were arrested in Norway for possession of marijuana before being released and fined.

lucky that there were daily mail reporters at the grave to capture this moment

Jennifer Aniston is trying to set Gwyneth Paltrow up with Orlando Bloom.

The former 'Friends' actress - who is engaged to Justin Theroux - wants to help the blonde beauty find love again, following her split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and thinks she and the 'Lord of the Rings' actor, who split from wife Miranda Kerr last year, might be a perfect fit.

Miranda Kerr, Actor Orlando Bloom And Actress Gwyneth Paltrow Attend
The Mamounia Hotel Inauguration On November 26, 2009 In Marrakech, Morocco

A source said: 'Now that she's found love, Jen wants the same sort of happiness for all her friends, so when Gwyn pointed out that Orlando was hot, she started to play matchmaker.'

Jennifer is hoping to host a dinner party which both singletons will be invited to, and they'll be joined by a number of couples too.

The source added to heat magazine: 'She's not a pushy person so she'd never do it without the go-ahead from Gwyneth - but if Gwyn says yes, Jen's planning to throw a little dinner party at her house.'

'She'll invite a few other couples so it's a party instead of a set-up. The last thing she wants to do is put them in an awkward situation.'

It happens sometimes, more often with actresses, that someone who we love seeing onscreen just one day disappears: Poof! They’ve made like Bridget Fonda and vanished. It often doesn’t occur to us that he or she left the industry until we’re reminiscing about an old movie like Drag Me to Hell, as we were on last night’s Station Agents, and we think: Oh sh*t. What happened to Alison Lohman? She hasn’t made anything memorable in a while…

    checks IMDB …

Actually, Alison Lohman hasn’t made anything since Drag Me to Hell and Gamer in 2009. She’s been gone for five years! Her last apparent public appearance was two years ago, at the premiere for Dark Shadows with her husband.

She still looks great. And at 35 (33 in the picture), she still looks every bit of 18 as she always did. So, what the hell happened to Lohman?

The answer is: I don’t know. Wikipedia suggests that she might have decided to quit to devote her time to raising her children, after she gave birth to her first child in 2010 (although, it wasn’t even announced publicly until 2011), and that makes sense. She’s actually married to Mark Neveldine (pictured, above), the co-writer/director behind Crank, Crank: High Voltage, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Jonah Hex. She does have a Twitter account, but it hasn’t been updated since 2009. Her fanpage on Facebook was last updated two months ago with this message: “Do you want to see Alison in new movie?”

    Uh, yes. Yes, I do.

But until she resurfaces at the age of 40, looking 25, we’ll have to settle with rewatching Drag Me to Hell and her fantastic performance in Matchstick Men. And wherever you are, Ms. Lohman, just know that we’re thinking fondly of you. Please come back, because there are plenty of roles that Amy Adams and Ellen Page can’t fill all by themselves.

The evil forces behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may have gotten their hands on one of America’s favorite late-night hosts.

Stephen Colbert has been a friend to Steve Rogers and Marvel for years, but he may not be the pure-hearted fan we've always known him to be.

Some super-savvy Marvel fans spotted a disturbing message displayed during the intro of The Colbert Report’s Monday night episode.

Colbert has made it into the pages of a Marvel comic and has even been depicted as the Hulk by Joe Quesada. And when Captain America “died” in the comics in 2007, he gave his iconic, indestructible shield to Colbert,“the only man he believed had the red, white, and blue balls to carry the mantle.”

Cap doesn’t seem too happy about Colbert’s proclamation of “Hail Hydra!”

With Colbert set to take over The Late Show sometime in 2015, he's about to get access to an even larger audience. Is this all part of an evil plot by Hydra? Or will Colbert's apparent allegiance to the evil sleeper organization die with his character? We'll just have to wait and see.

After years in various forms of development, an adaptation of John Layman and Rob Guillory's "Chew" is in production as an animated feature. The Hollywood Reporter has word that two performers familiar to fans of genre fiction -- Steven Yeun and Felicia Day -- are on board to voice lead characters Tony Chu and Amelia Mintz, respectively.

Yeun plays Glenn on AMC's "The Walking Dead," and Day is the creator and star of popular web series "The Guild." THR notes that both are professed fans of the Image Comics series.

Layman wrote the script for the feature, which will be directed by Jeff Krelitz, who picked up the rights to "Chew" last year, after work on a TV series adaptation stalled at Circle and Confusion and Showtime. Krelitz and partner David Boxenbaum were reported to have purchased "Heavy Metal" magazine earlier this year, and are also adapting another Image series, "Peter Panzerfaust." Krelitz and Boxenbaum will produce "Chew" under their Heavy Metal banner.

Based on Krelitz's Twitter account , voiceover work for "Chew" started last week. The "Chew" animated project is targeted for digital and home release.

"Chew," the story of a "Cibopath" detective who receives psychic impressions from what he eats, debuted at Image in 2009. The book won "Best New Series" at the Eisner Awards in 2010.

Katie Holmes liked playing a strong female lead in her film “Miss Meadows,” in which she plays a vigilante preschool teacher.

“I loved playing this character because she had great manners and an innocence to her, but she also took care of business,” Holmes told us at an after-party at No. 8 following the Tribeca Film Festival premiere.

“I am such a fan of strong female characters so it was great to play this one.” Also at the party were designer Zac Posen and MSG chief James Dolan.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says the Mirakuru-injected Roy speaks harsh truths: "It's just all the things we don't normally say."

Roy Harper has reached maximum Mirakuru levels and he's about to go on a warpath on Arrow.
"Seeing Red," airing Wednesday, finds the infected Roy tearing Starling City apart in a fit of uncontrollable rage. At one point, he faces off against his former mentor Oliver Queen (as Arrow) and Sara Lance (as Black Canary) in a crackling battle. The cracks in Team Arrow start to deepen, as a divide begins to form over how to approach the Roy situation and bringing to question whether it's worth terminating or saving him. Roy, in the mean time, commits an irreversible crime during his rampage, and puts his ex-girlfriend Thea in danger at Moira's mayoral campaign event.

"That's been the hardest thing in the writers' room to manage -- [to figure out] what happens to you when you get Mirakuru'd," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. "Some people in the writers' room have tried to be like, 'Well, if it's two months, it's this level and three months, you're at this level. What's Slade at if you're at five years?' We tended to err on the side of what was right for the episode."

Kreisberg compared Roy's season-long Mirakuru arc to Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Angelus run. "When Angel became Angelus, all the things he was saying hurt Fred and Gunn and Wesley because he was telling them the truth. It's just all the things we don't normally say," he said. "Roy was right in episode 18, when he's like, 'You're all blindly following [Oliver] and doing what he says. Well, he's making all the wrong choices.'"

While the latest installment is a Roy-centric hour, there were several scenes left on the cutting-room floor over the run of episodes "where it might have felt like he disappeared," Kreisberg said.

One such example was a battle in episode 13, "Heir to the Demon.""He actually takes on Nyssa and her minion and that was where we discovered the pit-viper venom that she darts him after they fight and he passes out," he shared. "She says, 'Wow, you're strong. Most people would be dead from that.'" There was another scene where Roy was integrated into the group, but ultimately cut for time.

"We were going to have him disappear for a couple of episodes and really feel his absence and have this Magnificent Seven [moment] -- have everybody show up at the end," Kreisberg said of the original plan. In last week's episode, "The Man Under the Hood," Roy was discovered in Slade's machine, but Kreisberg indicated that that wasn't always the case. "We were going to have Slade in the machine and have Ravager step out and she was going to save him."

Jay Z and Beyonce have reportedly turned down an invite to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.

The 99 Problems hitmaker and the Pretty Hurts star are said to have rejected the chance to attend the nuptials, which are expected to take place in France, because they don't want to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: 'Jay Z would be there if it wasn’t going to be such a public event.'

While Jay and Beyonce are not expected to attend the wedding alongside the rest of the Kardashian clan, the rapper is going to make it up to the couple by splashing out £100,000 on a rented yacht for their honeymoon.

Jay is also said to be preparing a lavish stag do for Kanye at his New York club 40/40.
The insider added to the publication: 'Instead he’s making it up to his mate by throwing him the most extravagant stag do known to man.

It will cost a small fortune – and to top it all off, he’s chucked a £100,000 yacht rental in there as a wedding gift as well.'

Jay and Kanye have been good friends for years, and their partners Beyonce and Kim – who has 10-month-old daughter North West - both recently enjoyed a catch up at their favourite dermatology clinic.

A source told MailOnline: 'Beyonce and Kim did speak at the clinic. They had a friendly chat and then went about their days.'

It had previously been reported that Beyonce – who has two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with Jay – wasn't as keen to chat to Kim.

An eyewitness to the reported awkward encounter told RadarOnline: 'Kim seemed so excited to see Beyoncé and was really eagerly going over to her.
'But Beyoncé looked like she wanted nothing to do with Kim and was really trying to stay away from her.

'Kim was basically fawning all over her. The two women did have a brief chat, with Beyonce asking about Kardashian’s daughter North West.'
MailOnline has contacted a representative of Jay Z for comment.

You can tell from her many outlandish outfits that she is fearless when it comes to the world of fashion.

But Rita Ora took her love for couture one step further when she sang on stage while artist Thierry Guetta pelted her spotless white dress with paint during a performance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.

The 23-year-old singer looked like she wanted to recreate the iconic catwalk finale of the McQueen spring/summer 1999 show, when model Shalom Harlow’s simple frock was spray painted by two robots as she stood on a rotating platform.

Sony Pictures and Mattel have teamed up for a live-action comedy based on the Barbie toyline. Sex and the City writer, Jenny Bicks, has been brought on board to pen the script.

Sony Pictures and Mattel are collaborating on a new live-action venture that will bring the popular Barbie toyline to the big screen. According to Deadline, Sony co-chairman Amy Pascal supervised the deal, and production will begin be the end of this year. Jenny Bick, who was a writer on HBO's Sex and the City and is a showrunner for Showtime's The Big C, has been hired to write the screenplay.

Barbie has been part of merchandise packages that span over 150 careers and Bicks and Parkes and MacDonald won the rights from Mattel when they plugged into that with their pitch for a contemporary tale. It allows the character Barbie to use her personal and professional skills to step into the lives of others and improve them, almost like a modern day Mary Poppins. That storyline allows for the discovery of a young actress to play the title character, and young cast to play Ken and Barbie’s best friend, putting stars around them that can change in subsequent movies.

Is Kanye West cheating on Kim Kardashian with Pia Mia? The 17-year-old rising star posted a photo to her Instagram saying that ‘The Other Woman’ trailer is the ‘story of [her] life.’ Pretty fishy!

Ever since Kanye West, 36, took Pia Mia under his wing, Kim Kardashian, 33, has reportedly been jealous of how closely he’s mentoring the young star. On April 24, Pia took to Instagram to claim that the trailer for The Other Woman is the “story of [her] life.” Could Kim’s reported concerns over Pia’s and Kanye’s relationship be valid?

“Kanye is producing some tracks for her and he’s quite involved. He believes she could be the next Rihanna,” a source told RadarOnline in March 2014. That’s all fine and well, and while “Kanye has made it clear to everyone that their relationship is strictly creative,” Radar’s source continued, their relationship has some people in their circles raising questions.

“Kanye called her and the conversation sounded kind of flirty and romantic. It could be that they are just good friends but it was definitely more than just a professional call.”

However, their source added that “Kanye thinks [Pia is] young, fresh and hip — totally his target audience. He’s been consulting her on a lot of his creative projects, including the Kanye x APC collection.” It makes sense that he’d want someone young and fresh to consult, but Kim is reportedly jealous that he doesn’t ask her to consult.

So, with all this gossip flying around, Pia must have known what she was doing when she posted the Instagram photo below with the caption “@TheOtherWomanMovie trailer…story of my life. Guna be so hilarious! #OtherWoman #sp”.

A sun-dappled backdrop against which intrigue, murder and romance play out sounds right up our alley, and certainly, the associated names with "The Two Faces of January" are impressive. It's based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith ("The Talented Mr. Ripley"), is written and directed by Hossein Amini (the guy who penned "Drive") and it features three excellent leads: Oscar Isaac, Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen. And certainly, this first clip from the film shows some promise.

The 1962-set story follows an elegant and beautiful American couple, vacationing in Greece, who get mixed up in a murder and must rely on the assistance of a shady young tour guide. The film has a great premise to work from, but does it all come together? According to our Jessica Kiang, it doesn't, writing in her review from the Berlin Film Festival that ultimately, the movie is "a slack, minor entry in the Highsmith canon." Bummer.

But as always, see for yourself when it opens later this year. Below you'll find the clip, plus a new TV spot, pics and posters. "The Two Faces of January" opens in the U.K. on May 16th. No domestic date has been set just yet.

Here for Oscar and Viggo. Kirsten can gtfo

Bullying and mocking peoples' looks unfortunately isn't just an activity of young kids.

Jahmel Binion of Madison Heights has discovered that. He has a rare disorder ectodermal dysplasia, a condition characterized by a reduced ability to sweat, missing teeth and abnormal hair growth, Fox 2's Randy Wimbley reports.

Binion posted a selfie on social media, Wimbley reports that, and Shaquille O'Neal, former University of Michigan athlete Trey Burke and rapper Waka Flocka Flame made fun it.

Binion told Fox 2 that he's a big fan of Shaq and was hurt by the mocking, saying he should be a role model.

The upside: Binion tells Fox 2 he has been inspired him to start an anti-bullying campaign called "Hug, Don't Judge."
