Talks about his name pronunciation. Joy said his last visit, he was stressed about news. But now he’s fine /sarcasm. Now he pretends he’s Republican just before he goes to sleep. Abby says he’s very vocal and active on twitter. Some are too old, too left, too white, too whatever. Apatow respects opinions on the ~issues, but he doesn’t want someone who lies 10K times. There’s a lot of people who put themselves in harm’s way and there’s a lot to be said for being truthful. He’s worried about a very old person. Talks about age. Joy disagrees. Discussion and some joking banter on ageism. Joy switches to his personal life, Page Six showed a photo of him and his wife (Leslie Mann) arguing. Euphoria. Abby says it’s a heavy show, sex-drugs-nudity, is that hard as a dad to watch. JA jokes she played the good girl but liked it and it was very creative. Just glad that she has a job. She went to college. He put away $10K a year for college, then when she quit, he made $130K. Talks about how to spend it. Whoopi says by the time her great-grandchild will be college age, she’ll be in another country [Idk but another example that she’s stingy with money lol].

Sunny feels the same way, her cousin was injured during his service, other relatives who have served. Joy shows photo of her father from WWII. Her husband was in Vietnam. Whoopi’s son in law is a veteran. You gotta get out and vote because people fought and died for you to be able to do that. Whoopi says she doesn’t have what it takes to do that, we should thank those who serve. A soldier takes an oath to the Constitution, not a political party.

Kelly claims he was giving support, and if she’s concerned, then she should’ve quit. [Tillerson was fired, literally, while using the toilet. Kelly and Haley both quit, at different times.] Meghan says rumors were NH was vying for VP, but she didn’t believe it because it seemed ridiculous. Now she has a different view, quotes David Frum
Atlantic op-ed, that NH is staying friendly with GOP and wants a run in 2024. Joy quotes Anonymous book, toddler running around WH with his pants off. Says Kelly and Tillerson were trying to control the toddler. Says T45 needs her for white women vote [except she’s woc?]. Pence has evangelicals but no women [lol]. Sunny quotes Tillerson from his book. Sunny said it sounded like they weren’t trying to undermine him, they were trying to save him from himself and not let him do illegal things. Legal notes, Tillerson declined to comment. Kelly said, if providing best legal and ethical advice = undermining, then guilty as charged [yikes!]. Abby says she’s super ambitious, she’s on board of Boeing. Doesn’t think these are Tell-All books, thinks they’re Set-Up books, prepping for a future in the party. Abby thinks NH is trying to say she’s working against the swamp. Meghan takes offense that Kelly would be considered swampy given his career and service. 2024 is a long time from now, something new and shiny will come along before then.
Sunny says in interview, NH was asked about impeachment and said No, the request wasn’t fulfilled, and the money wasn’t withheld. Uh, attempted bribery is a crime, and bribery is specifically listed in the Constitution. Attempting a crime is still a crime even if not successful. NH is doubling down. Meghan thinks it’s a VP play, between those in the room and millions watching. Abby thinks she’ll fall off the map sooner than she thinks. Sunny says NH claims she’s not running, but then why is she out there like this.

Joy said recent Gallop poll = 97% Dems willing to vote for a woman, only 83% willing to vote for gay person. Joy likes her, but when she sees her on tv, she comes off a little too careful. Compares to T45 always unhinged. Thinks the Dems should let go a little. Mayor Pete has thin resume except for vet. Sunny wonders if it’s fair to call into question his background given T45 [well that describes most adults in America]. Joy says No, it’s lack of experience. Meghan says he’s only got 10,991 votes in his whole life. Abby thinks using sexism or racism, it’s a last ditch effort.

. Study shows 87% of Americans are pressured to work while sick, they blame Joy who came back from London sick. Then she got some of the whole panel sick. Meghan says sometimes they’re not on the show because they’re sick. It’s not a conspiracy, nothing happened, not fired, not abducted by aliens, we’re just sick. Whoopi says people forget, this is their job, but sick is sick.
