The big three: Sony PlayStation, Microsoft XBox, Nintendo. It’s been two decades since SEGA left the console wars. For too long the major three have remained unchallenged, that is until 2 days ago when one hit wonder & rap sensation Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em entered the console wars with The SouljaGame Console and The SouljaGame Handheld. But Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, did not stop there. Oh no. He came after Apple and Dr. Dre’s market share too with his SouljaPhone HT70, SouljaWatch & SouljaHeadphones.

All quality bootleg products made in China that already exist, sold online and marked up in price with his name on it. The laughs, jokes, and criticism online was quick, since his gaming consoles are practically emulators playing ROM’s that legally belong to Nintendo, Sony, etc. Rolling Stone reached out to DeAndre for an interview in his latest and questionable business venture.

How and why he got into the bootleg gaming business:“So first I did a video game. I started off with a video game and I did two actual games. They were on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The first game was called Beef With Soulja and the second game was called Fighting Soulja – Draco Edition. It was like two mobile games I released. They did pretty well and after I made those two games I was like “Man, I want to make another game, but I want to make this game for PlayStation and Xbox and PC.” I was like “You know what? Forget making the video game for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. How about I make my own console?”

On the criticism that he’s selling identical console emulators marked up in price that you can already purchase for far less on Amazon or AliExpress:“Honestly, I just think that when you’re coming out with a new product you’re gonna be criticized. You have to deal with criticism, but I think that once people actually get this product in their hands and get to review it themselves, personally, I think it’ll be a different outcome.”

On if he’s worried about legal ramifications coming after him:“Honestly, I feel that everything is 100% legit and there will be no reason for any legal ramifications or anything like that. Honestly, I don’t have any worries at all, any concerns, because everything we’re doing is legit. It’s been researched. Everything has been basically confirmed that it’s a green light and we’re good. It’s partly the people from the outside looking in, that aren’t understanding the type of deals that were made behind the scenes that are worried.”

-Amy Adams and Nicole Kidman sat down for Vanity Fair 'ActorsonActors'. To start things off she welcomed Nicole to the DC Universe while revealing that she thinks that her days as Lois Lane is done as they are moving in a different direction.

-DC has put anything Superman related on the back burner and with Cavill no longer suiting up it is very unlikely that they'll bring Lois Lane in on any of the DCU movies.

For his friend's birthday, the owner of cosmetics company Too Faced Jarrod Blandino posted an IG Story which had a cake with the words "Rich Lives Matter" written on top of it.

He received immediate backlash for trivialising the BLM movement.

In his apology, he said: "I posted a pic of Jeremy and me at a surprise party a group of our friends had thrown for Jeremy's upcoming Birthday. There was a cake at the bottom of the photo that someone had brought to the party that has something insensitive & unacceptable written on it. I'm so sorry and I take complete responsibility for posting it." His full statement is here.

Of course, beautuber Jackie Aina had to be dragged into the mess.

Jackie had a collab w Too Faced to expand their shade range for their Born This Way foundation.

Some people started to call her out for not calling out Jerrod, bc she has to do everything I guess.

Actor Amandla Stenberg came out as gay this past June, and is currently dating singer King Princess/Mikaela Straus. She spoke to Us Weekly at the TrevorLIVE Gala 2018 on Dec. 2 about her life since coming out. She said she feels very accepted by the LGBTQ community. Stenberg adds: "I guess I would say I’m very lucky. I’ve never faced violence or harm for being who I am and I’ve always had the support of expressing myself as who I am."
She offered advice to those from different walks of life: "Being born the ways in which you’re persecuted is such a gift and a present. [It] gives you such a beautiful lens through which to look at life, because I’ve learned how to express love outside the confines that have been taught."

Because the Writers Guild of America just have weird ass rules (something about not adhering to their Minimum Basic Agreement), the following movies won't be eligible for the Writers Guild Awards nominations - usually a good indicator of the Oscars' adapted and original screenplay categories - for this season. Non-American productions are usually ineligible (but apparently 'Roma' is eligible?).

Ineligible for one reason or another:

- The Favourite
- Sorry to Bother You
- The Sisters Brothers
- Hereditary
- Incredibles 2
- Isle of Dogs
- Blindspotting
- The Death of Stalin
- The Rider
- Stan & Ollie
- Disobedience
- Leave No Trace

Should note that while most of the WGA nods do reflect the Oscars, ineligibility shouldn't matter for frontrunenrs like 'The Favourite'. Apparently 63 original screenplays and 60 adapted screenplays will be submitted for the final nominations, announced on January 7th.

Sony has revealed the first look at Spider-Man: Far from Home at CCXP in Brazil today. The image shows Peter in his stealth suit.
Sony also unveiled a trailer at CCXP but it will not be released for the public yet. You can read a short trailer description here.
Tom Holland, who was at the panel also revealed some plot details: the movie will follow Spider-Man and Mysterio as they team up to take on the Elementals.
