-Says it was once a pleasure to work with him (probably on 2006's Swagger Like Us), but now he is ashamed he ever had anything to do with him

Follow up to this post.
- Minh Thu, a contestant from The Bachelor Vietnam, declared her love for another contestant, Truc Nhu, during the rose ceremony.
- First time in over 100 seasons that something like this happens.
- Truc Nhu stayed for a couple of episodes after the declaration of love from Minh Thu (she went home).
- They gave each other time, but Truc Nhu asked to leave the show saying "She already found what she was looking for and it's waiting for her at home".
- “They left the show and have been together since. We delivered on our promise that two people would find love,” Executive Producer Anh Tran confirmed.
- Anh-Thu Nguyen, a producer for the show, says: "Especially in the context of Vietnamese culture, where family and saving face can often be prioritized over all else, including love, the fact these women made this declaration during the rose ceremony in front of everyone is even more awe-inspiring. It’s been a proud experience to see our clip resonate around the world and become an unexpected platform for discussing LGBTQI+ issues in Vietnam on a global scale."

• Writers Rob Harvilla and Shea Serrano came up with a list of what they consider to be 28 of the best fictional songs in movie history.

• In order to qualify for this list, the songs would have to be "original songs either written or performed (or both) on screen by that movie's fictional characters."



20. Seal, "Ashely Wednesday" from Popstar: Never Stop Stopping

This song from the criminally underrated Lonely Island movie was picked over the much superior flashier cuts from the film because Seal leverages his serious persona for this super silly song. I disagree but it's not my list.

13. Robbie Hart (Adam Sandler), "Grow Old With You" from The Wedding Singer


5. PoP! (Hugh Grant), "Pop! Goes My Heart" from Music and Lyrics

Andrew Wyatt (of Miike Snow fame), wrote this for Music and Lyrics before going on to co-write "Shallow" with Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, and Anthony Rossamando.

4. The Oneders, "That Thing You Do!" from That Thing You Do!

This beloved movie song was written by former Fountains of Wayne member Adam Schlesinger (he now writes and produces songs for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend)

Relationship began in May, got engaged a few weeks after going public, engagement is now called off.

Aren't ruling out a possible future together.

USA Gymnastics finds another horrible president, who gets dragged by Simone Biles

Where to even begin with this fuckery? After the news broke that USA Gymnastics has been covering for sexual predators working in the sport (Larry Nassar was just one of many), the longtime president of the organization, Steve Penny, resigned. They then hired Kerry Perry, a marketing executive for the position, perhaps hoping that her expertise would help them hold onto some of the sponsor dollars that were fleeing the group. She avoided survivors, made awful decisions and was forced to resign after 9 months. Now the USAG has hired Mary Bono (yes, the widow of Sonny Bono).

• Problem 1: She works for the law firm Faegre Baker Daniels, the same firm where a lawyer agreed to publicly lie to cover up the fact that Nassar was under investigation.
• Problem 2: Last month, Bono, who is a former Republican congresswoman, tried to come for Nike over the company's ad campaign with Colin Kaepernick.

Simone Biles, who is sponsored by Nike, had this to say:

In gymnastics news that's actually inspiring instead of depressing, less than 12 months after resuming elite training, Simone Biles nailed a never-before-competed vault in competition. It has a higher difficulty value than any vault current gymnasts have landed. If she lands it at the upcoming World Championships, it will be named after her:

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s 'A Star Is Born' soundtrack debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with 231K units. 162K were in traditional album sales.

It is the biggest week for a soundtrack in more than three-and-a-half years.

It is Lady Gaga's 5th #1 album this decade, beating Taylor Swift as having the most #1s in the 2010s.

21 Pilots''Trench' debuted at #2 with 175K units. Lil Wayne’s 'Tha Carter V' slips to #3 with 135K units. Lil Baby and Gunna’s collab album 'Drip Harder' debuts at #4 with 130,000 units. Eric Church’s 'Desperate Man' bows at #5 with 116K units.

Charmed showrunners talk...Charmed! in the modern era

-Charmed was originally going to be a prequel series about witches in the 70s but after Trump got elected they decided to bring it to the modern era and reboot it since everything they were doing with the prequel series was still very relevant to today.

-Wanted the Charmed Ones to represent todays world which is why they cast women of color. Will explore women issues, LGBTQ issues, race issues, all the issues.

-Writers room has 1 straight white guy and the rest are POC/LGBTQ.

-They regret not reaching out to any of the OG Charmed Ones and if they could do it differently, they would. They are big fans of the original series.

-Will of course have Book of Shadows, Whitelighters, and The Source of All Evil but want to make sure to focus on the love story between the 3 sisters.

-Premieres tonight at 9pm on TheCW

The Haunting of Hill House episode 3 has a scene where empath, Theo, relives a traumatic experience of somebody else's. The actress (Kate Siegel) talked a little about filming the scene as an abuse survivor and how the crew was really respectful and supportive.

“As a woman and a survivor, I found it to be a very terrifying day on set and I was open with everyone about that. I was like, ‘Hey, I’m really scared of this and I’d like to take some time to approach it.'”

She acknowledges the scene may be triggering to some people. "It’s this weird thing, but you have to have a responsibility to portray something that has happened to actual people that may trigger them, that will be difficult to watch. And so what I wanted to do was to ground it.”

The ten-episode first season of The Haunting of Hill House is streaming on Netflix now.

I keep thinking how we move through things so quickly these days (how could we not?); I know my personal capacity to absorb something new is often maxed out. For example, a movie opens, we are “obsessed” for a weekend, we move on. I do this too: even when I really love something, I get distracted by the next thing, don’t fully digest the experience and I quickly move on, like the world exists only to entertain me, like great art is unlimited, that my consumption of it as an everyday all-you-can eat buffet is acceptable.
We are so fortunate- a ton of worthy, excellent movies are going to come out between now and the end of the year, and our plates are going to become increasingly full. That said, I think A Star is Born is so special, so ambitious, so audacious and so brilliantly human that it shouldn’t just be a news story for one weekend.
Even being so excited about what’s coming out, I want to really luxuriate in appreciation for A Star is Born. I saw this film back in August at the Venice Film Festival and I still walk around feeling lucky I was in that audience.
This film surprised me in the best possible way; it even killed some cynicism that I didn’t know had snuck into my heart.
I loved it.
I hope you see it.

An Amy Winehouse biopic is in the works from Monumental Pictures, filming next year

Amy Winehouse’s family will have a hand in this biopic, as they will executive produce the movie about the late singer. Monumental Pictures will produce the movie, with “Kinky Boots” writer Geoff Deane penning the script. No director announced yet.

The movie begins filming next year, and no word yet on casting. One great thing is that the proceeds from the film will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which works to help prevent the effects of alcohol and drug misuse.

Mac Miller's death was tipping point for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement

Ariana was in a dark place after the death of her ex boyfriend Mac Miller but according to the source she doesn't blame herself because "she feels she did everything she could to get him sober."

After his death Ariana realized she couldn't be fully invested in her relationship with Davidson, and she was rushing into a looming marriage way too fast by getting engaged.

Source also says Ariana and Pete hadn't signaled any signs of a break up as he was still on her social media stories and on set with him during SNL tapings but something on Sunday must have made them "snap".

Neither have confirmed or denied their break up.

Yikes if they broke up on Sunday I definitely think this happened impulsively and they'll end up back together.
