Music Legend Cher continues to show her disdain for the Queen of Pop Madonna. On Ellen, Cher was asked which three artists she’d like to collaborate with. She says, “Adele, Pink and uh...not Madonna.”

In a separate interview someone mentions to her a mash up of her ABBA cover of “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” and Madonna’s “Hung Up” (which samples Gimme) and if they’d ever do an original song together. Cher responds with, “probably not.”

Mariah Carey to debut new single at American Music Awards; would love to perform Super Bowl Halftime

Days after giving a live performance at the iHeartRADIO festival in front of over 25,000 people that has left fans shook, gifted singer-songerwriter Mariah Carey announced on Twitter she would be performing at the American Music Awards on October 9th. Carey is reported to debut the first official single of her upcoming 15th studio album, titled "With You."



This will be Carey's fifth time performing at the AMAs, her first in ten years:

- Someday (1991)
- Fantasy (1996)
- Thank God I Found You (2000)
- Don’t Forget About Us (2005)
- I Stay In Love (2008)

On September 23, Carey and her fit boyfriend Bryan Tanaka were spotted heading into the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California to see Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s On The Run II Tour. Carey looked entirely comfortable in a tight leather ensemble and ridiculously high platform heels, but what else would you expect from the woman who famously wore stilettos on the elliptical machine?

After the concert, Mariah and Bryan grabbed dinner at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood with some of their friends. She was asked by a reporter that night if she’d be open to doing a Super Bowl Halftime Show and she replied, “I would love to!” Carey previously performed the National Anthem before the 2002 Super Bowl in New Orleans.

YouTube Beauty Guru Laura Lee apologizes for her apology video

• After uploading a heavily criticized apology video where Laura Lee addressed her past racist tweets, the popular beauty guru took a month long break from YouTube and social media.

• Today she is back on YouTube with a new apology video and took down her original apology video off her page saying it didn’t “represent” her well.

• Isn’t trying to hide that video or act like it never happened. She knows it’s all over the Internet for anyone to find.

• She adds that the original apology video was more of a “reaction” to the backlash and that she came off as a victim, which she clarifies that she is not in this situation.

• Takes full responsibility for her racist tweets but says some of them were fake.

• Says she has learned a lot from this experience and knows she’s a “role model” and wants to “turn this whole community around.”

• This is Laura’s third attempt at apologizing.

'Almost Famous' Musical in the Works

  • Cameron Crowe's 2000 film Almost Famous is being turned into a musical.

  • Composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, Bring it On) will write the music, with lyrics by Kitt & Crowe.

  • Crowe will write the book based on his Oscar-winning screenplay, which is loosely based on his own life.

  • The film's plot summary: Set in 1973, it chronicles the funny and often poignant coming of age of 15-year-old William, an unabashed music fan who is inspired by the seminal bands of the time. When his love of music lands him an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine to interview the up-and-coming band Stillwater -- fronted by lead guitar Russell Hammond and lead singer Jeff Bebe William - embarks on an eye-opening journey with the band's tour, despite the objections of his protective mother.

  • Crowe posted a teaser of Kitt playing music on piano on Twitter earlier this week.

Ted Danson Doesn't Want a 'Cheers' Reboot

On NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, Danson said that he has no plans to participate in a Cheers reboot.

Meyers also asked him about a moment in two finale of NBC's The Good Place when Danson's character stood behind a bar, a shout-out to his Cheers character Sam Malone.

"Playing Sam Malone was an anathema to me for the longest time," he continued. "So going back was — all of a sudden I was full of insecurity and just felt horrible."

He added, "If you watch the scene, you'll notice that I would try to remember what I would do. 'I used to wash shot glasses, yeah.'"

EXO's Lay Announces First Solo U.S. Album!!!!

- Breakout Chinese artist Lay Zhang announced that he will be releasing his third solo project and first U.S. album "NAMANANA" on Oct. 19.
- Lay participated in the composition and arrangement of every track, and also worked with Rice n’ Peas, Bazzi, 153 Joombas Music Group, and MARZ Music.
- The album will consist of 22 tracks of varying genres. 11 of the tracks will be Chinese songs and the other 11 will be English versions.
- The title “NAMANANA” is said to refer to “an imaginary jungle where dreams never stop in which listeners can escape with the music from the stress of daily life to enjoy the moment and find their true self.”
- With so much excitement surrounding the album, demand is already high ahead of the release. “NAMANANA” is Amazon’s top best seller in the CDs & Vinyl category. The achievement follows the album having to be restocked after the initial batch of pre-orders were sold out soon after being released on Amazon.

Rap artist with 3 #1 hits Cardi B got Christy Carlson Romano's approval when giving a little throwback singing the tune "We Went to the Moon On 1969" from the musical episode of Even Stevens. We don't know if this is a good influence on the generation because Kubrick might have helped stage the moon landing, but this just shows miss Stevens' musical number has undeniable impact.

  • Circa 2003 after experiencing turbulence on a small plane she began experiencing claustrophobia which led to panic attacks

  • They began to increase in frequency to the point where she contemplated suicide

  • Admits to feeling guilty because she was extremely successful and had always thought of herself as a positive person so she didn't understand why she was having mental health problems

  • Her Drs originally prescribed xanax but she decided to try and beat her problems without the help of medication

  • Credits a change in diet, yoga, meditation and breaking up with Leonardo DiCaprio with helping

  • Also admits to having surgery on her breasts in 2015 after nursing her two children left her with one breast that was saggier than the other

  • The surgery made her feel worse about her body and she said she regretted it afterwards and spent a year wearing baggy clothes

  • Found it difficult to be a mother because she had always been very independent and she had to switch to always being available and caring for someone else

The overall mortality rate following diagnosis of anal cancer is 40% for men and 29% for women. Actress Farrah Fawcett died from the disease in 2009.

Gritty is an instant sensation on social media, gets compared to Ed Sheeran by Stephen Colbert

Ever since Gritty made his debut earlier this week, the Internet just can’t stop talking about him. But who is Gritty? 🤔 In case you missed it, he is the Philadelphia Flyers' new hockey mascot and he was an instant sensation with most. Even non-hockey fans all over social media are here for him. His controversial cracked out appearance has won the hearts of many around the world.

Even Stephen Colbert chimed in and may have taken things far comparing Gritty to Ed Sheeran if “he exploded.” Gritty took to social media to respond to that clip telling Sheeran, “Your move.” I stan.

Telltale Games Update: The Remaining Walking Dead Game Episodes Might Still Happen

In the most recent update a couple days ago before the release of the second episode, Telltale announced that multiple partners have expressed interest in completing the series but nothing yet has been set in stone. Meanwhile former employees still have yet to receive severance for being laid off a week ago.











A former employee decided to hit Telltale with a class-action lawsuit saying that they violated California's labor law. Telltale could technically defend itself since they didn't violate the WARN act but might have a hard time defend their actions to the California version of the law.



In another turn of events you can no longer purchase the full season of The Walking Dead: The Final Season from places like the Playstation Store, Steam, and GOG. According to the store Telltale personally requested this as they discuss new development plans for episodes three and four. Telltale is hoping to have a firm announcement by "the end of the week."
