Dr. Dre’s TV drama for Apple Music has been shelved due to its rather graphic content.
Apple CEO Tim Cook personally dumped the six-episode series, titled Vital Signs.
It starred Ian McShane, Sam Rockwell, and Michael K. Williams.
The problem? Characters doing cocaine, gun violence and a rather explicit orgy scene.
Apple doesn’t want such material mixing with its brand.

Set against the backdrop of 18th century Georgian London, Harlots follows the Wells family, led by matriarch Margaret (Samantha Morton), as they continue to run a brothel. Morton recently joined the cast of The Walking Dead as a series regular, but she'll still return to Harlots in some capacity.
Season three will consist of another cycle of eight episodes.

Then, they ironically go sight-seeing at the Empire State Building, to have a "meta" interview.He takes his dog everywhere, including art galleries.Refuses to wear shorts.Used to wear fake Gucci t-shirts ironically.Once pretended to be in a fake biker gang called Die Fast.Rides a gold bicycle.On paparazzi: “It’s like weather. Sometimes it blows in hard and wet, sometimes it’s just gray.”On Chinatown in NYC: “It is kind of like a great Britney Spears song, where you put on your headphones, and there’s so much overproduced, bubble-gum, sweet poppy goo, but in a good way. There are these little robotic things clanking, and then there’s a big tub of turtles, the weird little lucky cats with their paws moving back and forth. Former DC boss Diane Nelson has deleted her Twitter account after coming under fire from fans of director Zack Snyder.
She tweeted her praise of the upcoming Joker movie :
"“LOVE IT! Great story, great actor, specific and strong vision from talented director. What DC should have been doing since Nolan. Even if die hard fans struggle with his vision.#goodmoviesaregoodmovies”
DC fans took it as a snub of the films made under Snyder’s purview of the franchise.
The backlash was strong, with one fan accusing her for being a “snake in the grass,” and not supporting Snyder’s vision.
Before deleting her twitter, she tweeted :
“I happen to count Zack Snyder among those things, if you are insinuating otherwise. No snake here.”

After telling Elle Magazine earlier this summer she no longer used social media and only kept a brain app on her phone, Selena Gomez returned to Instagram this weekend to do an hour long live session. Well, her return went as fast as it came, as the former Disney actress announced today she's taking yet another break.
Under the caption of her latest photo, she wrote: "Taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit!"
She also reminded fans, "Negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings."

- The term "Debbie Downer" originated from (edit: or was widely popularized by) a 2004 SNL sketch of the same name, where Rachel Dratch plays a woman who can't help but insert negativity into an ongoing conversation during a family reunion at Disney World. After each negative remark, a sad trombone sound effect is played, and the camera zooms in on Dratch's face.
- The guest for the episode where it debuted was Lindsay Lohan, and the sketch caused her, Dratch and the rest of the cast (Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Horatio Sanz and Jimmy Fallon) to break character and laugh throughout - at one point, Sanz dries his eyes with a waffle. The audience loved it.
- The character recurred, and within a short time, people were using the phrase outside of its original SNL context.
- Merriam-Webster is keeping an eye on this word as a future addition to the dictionary, because the sketch hasn't aired in ten years and people still use the phrase routinely.
- Merriam-Webster's thoughts: It's a useful term for the persistent pessimists in our lives, those charming folks who always have a depressing factoid to lob into the conversation, or a negative aspect to helpfully point out where none had been apparent. Debbie Downer, as a term, has a lot going for it: obvious and abundant referents, euphonious alliteration, and a comedic history.
