iHeartRadio published an article about Kelly Clarkson“doing it all.” She’s performing this weekend in Vegas for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival, has a new daytime talk show coming (The Kelly Clarkson Show), and is a coach on NBC’sThe Voice. She also hosted the 2018 Billboard Music Awards with an epic opening performance but I digress...

Clarkson acknowledges the article but writes, “....except for getting my songs played on your stations. I guess I’m cool enough to invite but not cool enough to play my record.”

On Monday's episode of The Real, the ladies debated whether or not having a gay couple is apropriate on a children's show. Check out the video or read the transcript below from Madamenoir:


Tamera: I know that when I was watching Sesame Street as a kid, it was one of my favorite shows. I wasn’t really thinking about the genitalia and what they were doing sexually as a kid. They’re puppets. But as a parent, I’m like, what are you teaching my child? Are you teaching my children how to love one another? Are you teaching my children how to be friendly and create amazing friendships? That’s what really matters. I don’t care if they’re brown, yellow, orange — whatever. What is the message?

Jeannie: I hear what you’re saying, but I disagree because they do care. And your kids are learning -

Tamera: At five years old and at three years old, my daughter isn’t thinking —

Jeannie: Let me finish.

Tamera: …Oh ok!

Jeannie: Let me finish really quick. All I’m saying is, I was that girl. I learned how to speak English —

Tamera: I’m speaking for my kids and my experience, so you can speak from yours.

Jeanie: I’m just saying, Tam. For me, I had to learn from them, too. I learned watching Sesame Street how to speak English, and Bert and Ernie were my best friends. I believed in them and I learned from them, how to have a healthy and happy relationship. I learned how that relationship works. So when Sesame Street says they’re not gay, it says to me that being gay is not OK. That’s the problem. That’s the problem with this situation.

Just days after defending her Fox News husband, claiming he is not racist, former actress Tamera Mowry seemed to still not be done sharing her ignorant views on today's The Real episode.

After being rude to panel member Jeannie Mai and spewing her ignorant opinion on the Bert and Ernie being gay story that has been in the press recently on today's episode (See previous post for more info), she recieved a lot of criticism for the way she treated Jeannie as well as what she said about the two characters allegedly being gay.

In case you missed it, Tamera rudely interrupted Jeannie twice and made faces while Jeannie was speaking her view on the topic, and seemed to be generally annoyed with Jeannie who appeared visibly upset after being cut off and ignored by Mowry.

This now resulted in her turning off commenting on her instagram page, blocking people who criticized her, and posting a photo with Jeannie Mai to say they're cool, as fans began to speculate the two were not on good terms.

Jeannie Mai posted a photo of the two of them as well, with a loving caption, to send a message that the two are cool.

- MBC is currently airing drama "Hide and Seek" starring Lee Yoo Ri.
- Latest episode had a scene where Lee Yoo Ri's character walks through the male area of a public bathhouse. She goes into the sauna looking for a man who betrayed her company and who goes to hide into the sauna because he knows she can't enter. She does anyway. The naked men run away when they see her. Their bodies are blured.

• Italian brand Golden Goose and Nordstrom are under fire on social media for selling “distressed” and “taped” sneakers for $530.

• The Superstar Taped shoes are described on Nordstrom’s website as “crumply, hold-it-all-together tape details a distressed leather sneaker in a retro low profile with a signature sidewall star and a grungy rubber cupsole.”

• But several people on social media are not here for the “distressed” trend, calling these shoes “distasteful,” “shameful,” “offensive” and making light of poverty.

• This isn’t the first time the company has went under fire, in 2016 the company defended itself for a similar pair of shoes stating, “The duct-tape reinforcements appearing on the [Distressed Superstar Sneakers] style pay homage to the West Coast’s skater culture — professional skaters, who inspired the brand’s shoe collections from the beginning, use to repair their shoes with the same kind of tape.”

- Suge Knight was accused of purposely running over Terry Carter and Cle “Bone” Sloan in a parking lot due to a dispute on the set of Straight Outta Compton. Terry Carter died from his injuries.

- Suge Knight claimed his actions were self defense and that he was trying to get away from the two men

- He was facing a life sentence, but instead he pled no contest to voluntary manslaughter.  He was sentenced to 28 years in prison

- Suge Knight will receive credit for the three and half years he's already served

- He will also be placed on three years of probation following his prison release

- Suge Knight is currently 53 years old
