Ellen DeGeneres surprises McDonald’s pranksters pushing for Asian representation

• Two students who attend the University of Houston pulled off an epic prank at a Pearland McDonald’s and appeared on Ellen.

• Jehv Maravilla and Christian Toledo posted a video on YouTube documenting themselves creating and hanging up a poster of themselves enjoying the fast food on a blank wall inside their local McD’s.

• McDonald’s employees were unaware for 2 months until the video went viral.

• “‘Crazy Rich Asians’ was a really a big influence on me. It really pushed me over. So we wanted to be like crazy middle class...or maybe lower middle class,” Toledo said jokingly.

• Ellen surprised them and told the two that McDonald's will be using them for an official marketing campaign and will each receive $25,000.

• The original poster they made was signed by both Maravilla and Toledo and will be auctioned off to support Ronald McDonald House in Houston.

New Line is rebooting Grumpy Old Men. Starring Eddie Murphy

Murphy would play one of the feuding seniors originally by Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau in the 1993 comedy about a decades-long battle between neighbors that gets worse when a new female neighbor moves across the street.

The original movie was followed two years later by a sequel; Grumpier Old Men, which earned $72 million domestically, about as much as the first one.

Warner Bros. reportedly has been eager to remake some films from its archives, given the success Ocean's 8 ($263 million), and a black-led reinvention of a comedy classic would fall within that. Insiders say the project could possibly get a new title.

Sony announces the PlayStation Classic, its own mini retro console for $99

• Following Nintendo and their own successful NES/SNES mini retro game consoles, Sony just announced its own.

• The PlayStation Classic will come pre-loaded with 20 games including Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms and 17 other “legendary” titles.

• The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation.

• Each unit will come with an HDMI cable, a USB cable, and two controllers.

• The PlayStation Classic will retail for $99.99 USD (MSRP) / $129.99 CAN (MSRP) and will be released just in time for Christmas on December 3rd 2018 (the day the original launched in Japan back in 1994).

this list better include Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk etc.

Kylie Jenner shocked redes sociales when she tweeted that last night she had tried milk with her cereal for the first time. How and why you ask? You see Kylie always ate her cereal dry. No leche, nada. Like Craig in Friday with no milk (no Mr. and Mrs. Jones I will not put some water in my cereal thank you very much).

What kind of cereal and milk? Cinnamon Toast Crunch with regular milk. Jenner did not specify if this regular milk was whole milk, 2%, 1% or fat free milk. She first poured her cereal and then the milk.

“Wait till you try peanut butter and jam,” Tweeted Seth Rogan. Others suggested regular food combinations like “french fries with ketchup.”

It is unclear if Kendall offered her sister Kylie a Pepsi instead of milk but we hope she didn’t.

Great British Bake Off Series 9 Episode 4 - Dessert Week!

This week the bakers had to make desserts. For the Signature Bake, they had to do a Meringue Roulade, the Technical was a Raspberry Blancmange, and the Showstopper was a very difficult Melting Chocolate Ball Dessert.

Kim-Joy made this amazing galaxy Melting Ball!



And Rahul revealed his sneaky sense of dry humour under all that self-doubt with a joke about a glass of milk.

Dan made a Floria-themed roulade, and a peach-themed chocolate melt ball.

No one!



Since Terry couldn't compete this week as he was unwell, they thought it was unfair to send someone home. However, that means they might send two people home next week.

Maroon 5 to play the superbowl half-time show

  • In 2015 lead singer Adam Levine said the band had been actively persuing the gig for years and had come close to being on stage several times

  • A source now says that the deal for Maroon 5 to perform is pretty much accepted

  • The superbowl will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 3

  • Fun fact: Maroon 5 is actually a misnomer. While the band started out with 5 performers there are now 7 active members

- Updated ratings taking the live telecast into account have the audience at 10.21 million viewers, an all-time low and down about 10 percent from a year ago. Among adults 18-49, the show averaged a 2.4 rating, off slightly from 2.5 in 2017 and also a low.

- Since NBC last aired the Emmys in 2014, the total audience for the show has fallen by 35 percent, and 18-49 ratings have declined by 43 percent.

Spotify Being Sued For Gender Discrimination

-A female sales executive is suing the company for gender discrimination.

-Says the head of sales took his staff on a "drug-fueled boy's trip" to the Sundance Film Festival.

-Alleges that a male executive was promoted even after facing complaints of sexual harassment.

-She also quotes the company’s CFO as saying at a town hall that “he does not care about diversity at the company,” and that an HR executive told staffers that his favorite curse word was “cunt.”

-Also alleges that men were being paid more than women for equal roles.

-She is also suing for defamation after she was blamed and fired for violations that she alleges the head of sales, Brian Berner, was actually directly responsible for.

Elon Musk Being Sued by Thai Cave Rescuer

This is a couple days old but I didn't see it posted and thought ONTD could use a laugh at Elon's expense!



If you'll recall, during the Thai cave rescue operation, Elon Musk had offered to help by building a submarine to reach the children (lol). One of the men responsible for assisting in the Thai cave rescue dismissed Elon's plans as being inefficient and unhelpful. Elon responded in a completely measured and sane way by calling the man a pedophile on twitter.

Elon claimed that the rescuer, Vernon Unsworth, moved to Thailand to be with a 12 year old bride. Unsworth is in a relationship with a 40-year-old Thai woman and initially moved to Thailand to explore and map caves, which is why he was called on by officials to assist in the rescue operation as he had extensive knowledge of the cave system.

Well, Elon is finally being sued for these comments.

The suit was filed by Vernon Unsworth in Los Angeles and is seeking damages of $75,000.00 and an order to stop Elon from making any more comments about him.

The couple and their three children, North, Saint, and Chicago moving to Illinois pretty soon, with publications claiming that they’ve already located a potential property where they want to set up home.

- her colleague saw a clinic bank statement with charges for Taylor Swift concert tickets,

- she also bought other things,

- the clinic is struggling financially and threatened with eviction.
