Priyanka Chopra has signed on as the female lead of the film adaptation of the graphic novel "Cowboy Viking Ninja" opposite Chris Pratt, shutting down all pregnancy rumors. The rumors started stirring after her quickie engagement to Nick Jonas and her dropping out of a Bollywood film titled Bharat opposite Salman Khan. She has been replaced by Katrina Kaif.

The novel revolves around an assassin who manifests the toughest skills of three different personas: a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking.

The role was one of the most sought out in town and Queen Priyanka beat out a slew of talent after a chemistry test with Pratt went extremely well.

The now much awaited film, thanks to PeeCee, will be releases on June 29, 2019.

CEO Mitch Lowe said today in an all-hands meeting that upcoming movies "The Meg" and "Christopher Robin" won't be available on the app and may be a regular practice for more major upcoming releases.

The news comes following another outage today where no showings were available to check-in.

Moviepass subscribers were ~~raising hell~~ complaining over the weekend on all forms of social media and Reddit, that they couldn't watch "Mission: Impossible Fallout", couldn't check-in to other movies, and surge pricing for all showings... even in empty theaters.

Because MP pays full-price for tickets, this new practice would help them pay millions less. Shares have to be at $1 or more for trading 10+ days to not be at risk for being delisted on the stock market. Today, it fell below $1 again.

"Us," Jordan Peele's follow up to his Oscar-winning debut "Get Out," has rounded out its cast. Young actors Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon, and Noelle Sheldon join the previously announced cast of Lupita Nyong'o, Elisabeth Moss, Winston Duke and Tim Heidecker.

The film has begun production with Peele writing and directing for the first project in his deal with Universal Studios, set for a March 2019 release. Jason Blum also returns as producer.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has stepped down as the lead writer of Killing Eve, handing over the duties writer-actor Emerald Fennell. Waller-Bridge will still remain involved with the show as executive producer.
Waller-Bridge is presumably stepping down to work on season 2 of Fleabag which will air next year, and her new HBO pilot.
Two new female directors, Lisa Bruhlmann (Blue My Mind) and Francesca Gregorini (Electric Dreams), have also joined the show.

-Demi has had fevers and signs of infection and is being treated for issues that are common after an OD. “She will need to stay in the hospital for a few more days, but is expected to make a full recovery.”

In 'Batman vs Superman' we learn that Joker had apparently killed Batman's sidekick Robin. Many had assumed the dead Robin was Jason Todd per the comic but Snyder revealed recently that the plan was for it to be none other than Dick Grayson.

He also implied that he would have introduced Carrie Kelley as Robin in the DCEU; Carrie is the first female Robin who debuted in 'The Dark Knight Returns'.

1.1k Highest grossing movies from 2007 to 2017;

Female characters who talked - 30.6% of the 48,757 characters in the films surveyed

29.3% of these characters were from underrepresented racial/ethnic groups,

2.5% had disabilities

< 1% of were members of the LGBT community.

Last year:

43 films lacked any black or African American ladies.

65 were missing Asian or Asian-American ladies.

64 did not depict even one Latina character.

Seventy eight films didn’t offer up a female character with a disability.

94 were devoid of a LGBQ female character.

Across 400 films from 2014 to 2017, there was only one trans character. (What film was that? Danish Girl? Dallas Buyers Club? The movie with Matt Bomer and the conversation?)
