Nicki Minaj Has Writer Fired For Critiquing Her Music

Nicki Minaj continues to Nicki Minaj. Yesterday, the 35 year old hopped in the DM's of a music reviewer who suggested that her music should be more personal and progress with age. After her legion of fans began attacking the writer, threatening to release her address, their leader Onika joined in and DM'ed the writer, accusing her of being jealous because she's so rich and pretty. She then allegedly made a phone call to the writer's boss, Karen Civil (Nicki's ex-BF, Meek Mill once claimed Karen was on Nicki's pay roll) and had the writer fired.

At 1pm EST today, Tavares tweeted that he was becoming a Leaf, to live out his childhood dream. After all, he had Leafs bedsheets as a kid.

Mike WiLL Made-It originally fueled rumors of a collab by liking a tweet that said that a Miley Cyrus x Lady Gaga collaboration would be on Miley's next album. Both Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga notably took a country direction for their latest albums, but Mike WiLL Made-It is a hip-hop/R&B/pop producer, and worked with Miley Cyrus for We Can't Stop

ONTD Original:
Homoerotic Moments by Hetero Actors

🌈 warning: nsfw post ✨

Pride month may be over but you know what? It's still a year-round thing for some of us. Let's unearth the first possible times we saw homoerotic moments in mainstream media via famous actors, and when we were curious using the internet to search up gay things on Youtube as a youngin (don't @ me).

And to reiterate what we already know:
Is it tacky when hets get booked and receive the credit and praise for gay roles

But in the meantime, are we gonna make it worthwhile as it is entertainment

Is this post remotely diverse

Sadly, no. But we need ONTDers to educate a sis when gay poc pop culture was in art now, suddenly the koons is OP.

This post was inspired by deformschool and some DELECTABLE Christopher Meloni gifs.
Whether it's an actual gay scene, provocative interactions, or just a clip of the male physique, here's 7 homoerotic moments by hets.

7. Ashton Kutcher (Dude, Where's My Car?)
Premise: Guys wake up after a drunk night of partying and have to find their car.
Scene: Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott run at a stop light with a couple (cameo by Fabio) in the other lane and, by male nature, the drivers try to one-up another.

Looking back this was kinda tame, but a trigger nonethelessT.

6. William Fichtner (Go)
Premise: Journey of a drug deal from the perspective of three characters.
Scene: William Fichtner is a police detective working to lure in the drug dealer. In the meantime, he pitches the idea of a Amway-type business to actors in the suggestive manner above.

I caught this movie on tv once and was just confused about the whole thing. That's a million dollar ass shot though 👀.

5. Bill Paxton (Weird Science)
Premise: One genius teen and his friend build the perfect woman via #weird#science.
Scene: Again, another curious scene where Bill Paxton takes off his towel when he finds Wyatt in Kelly LeBrock's underwear.

This scene was a little random, but hey it's another million dollar ass shot. RIP Bill Paxton.

4. Ian Somerhalder (The Rules of Attraction)
Premise: A love triangle between college students.
Scene: Ian Somerhalder has a crush on James van der Beek's character and imagines himself making a move on him.

Okay... I didn't know how pretty Ian was back in the day.

**Also interesting notes in the description of the source from the director.

3. Jude Law (Wilde)
Premise: Tells the autobiography of Oscar Wilde and his imprisonment for 'gross indecency' (homosexuality).
Scene: Jude Law's character (and irl Wilde love interest) Bosie teases Stephen Fry (Wilde) in a get together of fellow rentboys.

Good godT
Also, RIP Jude's hairline.

2. Charlie Hunnam (Queer As Folk UK)
Premise: The change and growth between two 29 year old gay friends and a 15 year old gay student.
Scene: Charlie Hunnam gets into the bathroom for a quickie which happens a little too quick.

Waiting on that possible reunion project.
Also wanna mention that Vince is precious and wholesome.

bless

1. Christopher Meloni (Oz)
Premise: Cliques of inmates of a correctional facility try to survive prison life.
Scene: D*ddy Christopher Meloni falls in love with one of the inmates.

I think I need to get into this show

ummmmmmm... a MAN

Bonus: Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them)
Premise: Newt Scamander has to find magical creatures that escaped from his suitcase, while there's tension between wizard and muggle relations.
Scene: "Percival Graves (Gellert Grindelwald in disguise) gives Credence Barebone a Deathly Hallows symbol necklace - his symbol."

This isn't even supposed to be sexual tbh I don't know what to really think of this scene but it did #trigger somethin strange, and I think other people experienced the same

Gay ONTD, what were gaykening (gay awakening) moments for you?

This week's creepy post explores what's new in paranormal pop culture and more! Brought to you by hjalmartazar and me!

BOOKS

This week we have paranormal romances with 50 (5) best werewolf romances to read. If you’re looking to discover new indigenous voices, we have 5 (2) authors and their books to check out. We share some of this year’s Locus Awards winners, including best sci-fi; fantasy; and horror novel. Find out what iconic author stephen king recommends you to watch on the horror network Shudder! And lastly, the sci-fi literature world lost an author this week when Harlan Ellison, 84, passed away.

50 (5) werewolf romances to read
pFFuEJ.png

BABY, I’M HOWLING FOR YOU by CHRISTINE WARREN
“Renny Landry is a wolf on the run. Pursued by a shapeshifting stalker and his slobbering pack of killer coyotes, she is forced to flee her job as a librarian to find sanctuary in the wooded hills of Alpha, Washington. A well-secluded safe space for troubled shifters, Alpha is Renny’s last hope. But the first person she meets there is a gorgeous alpha male with fiery eyes, fierce tattoos, and one ferocious appetite—for her…”

BEAST by HOLLEY TRENT
“Christina Stilton has waited all her life to become a wolf’s bride. Becoming mate to a stranger in a faraway pack is the only chance she has to escape her Appalachian life of poverty and abuse. She wants safety, but trusts The Fates to steer her toward love, too.”

THE WEREWOLF PRINCE AND I by MARIAN TEE
“Broke, nerdy, and self-confessed wimp Misty Wall leads a ho-hum life as a Grammar Nazi intern, which of course earns her feelings of hate-at-first-sight from her colleagues at Ze Morgue, aka Moretti Inc.’s Administration Department. Misty has always wished for something exciting to spice up her boring-with-a-capital-B existence, but she never thought it would come in the form of a gorgeous six-foot-plus billionaire. The world knows him as Domenico Moretti, the ruthless, cunning, and aloof CEO of Moretti, Inc, a.k.a. her boss. Gifts of (mis)fortune come in threes, they say, and it’s certainly the case with Misty, whose life is turned upside-down by Domenico Moretti’s three shocking revelations. One, he’s a werewolf (who’s also a prince). Two, he wants her in his bed—him, the guy who actually had to file a TRO against an obsessive supermodel. And three, he has a proposition she never—and she means never—ever sees coming.”

KISS OF SNOW by NALINI SINGH
“Alpha and dangerous, he lost the woman who would’ve been his mate long ago. Now he walks alone. But Sienna stirs his primal heart, even as he tells himself she is far too young to handle the wild fury of the wolf.”

MOON AWAKENING by LUCY MONROE
“Emily Hamilton volunteers to marry a Scottish laird in order to save her younger sister. But she can’t save herself from being kidnapped by a werewolf clan—and its wild-hearted leader.”

Because it’s #SciFiSunday, we have to acknowledge and respect the new genre films, Sorry To Bother You as well as another indie feature, Hover. Lastly, two new horror trailers for Summer of ‘84 and Blood Fest.

Summer of ‘84 trailer

Blood Fest trailer

Critters is an 80s cult-classic in the horror genre featuring small, violent creatures from outer space. The source article details the real-life UFO encounter called the Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter as the inspiration behind the film. Kelly and Hopkinsville are two towns in Kentucky, and the incident occurred at a family’s farm house, where many witnesses claim to have been attacked by extraterrestrials over the coures of one evening. The Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter is so famous that even Spielberg was inspired, and he of course went on to make the classic film “E.T.”
