In other clandestine news, Shakira's house was robbed this past Tuesday. Shakira was in Germany, touring after 7 years of absence, and her partner Gerard Piqué was attending her concert, when thieves entered the couples's house, located in the Esplugues de Llobregat district in Barcelona. According to the police, the criminals stole Piqué's watches and Shakira's jewelry.

Songbird supreme Mariah Carey was on Kimmel to promote her second Las Vegas residency. She talked about returning to the studio for the next album, her kids and American Idol. The best quote was when she was asked if she had warned Lionel Richie not to join Idol:

Is it just me, or does she sound more normal than I've ever heard her in an interview? Her extra diva-ness is iconic, but it was quite refreshing to hear her sounding like a normal person speaking about her kids and her life, and being funny simply because of her quick wit.
