People are mad at Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor for choosing to adopt her husband’s surname.

“I have been engaged for a long time. It took me a long time to decide. It’s a choice, at the end of the day. Nobody put a gun to my head. And if people don’t understand the concept of feminism, they need to go online and look at the description. And how do you know Anand has not changed his name? I have always said that I am a feminist. I have the choice to change my name to what I want to. Kapoor is also my father’s name. So it is a man’s name anyway. I chose to keep both. Anand has also changed his name but nobody wrote about that. I just decided to do it on social media because that’s my platform to say that I have made a choice. It is my personal choice.”

Billboard selects five (5) essential tracks from Maluma's 'F.A.M.E.'

Today marks the release of Maluma's long-anticipated new album 'F.A.M.E.' ('Fe, Alma Música, Esencia'), which finds the Colombian heartthrob experimenting with tropical, reggaeton and acoustic arrangements as he sings about complicated relationships in which man and woman both "give as much as they take."

The album is by-and-large produced by Édgar Barrera "Edge" and “Rude Boyz” Kevin ADG & Chan El Genio and includes collaborations with the likes of Timbaland and Jason Derulo. Billboard's Leila Cobo selected five (5) essential tracks from the album, available everywhere now.

1. "Mi Declaración" feat. Timbaland & Sid

"So you thought this was a declaration of love? Nah. A "you’re not the girl for me break-up song,""Mi Declaración" starts as an outright ballad, with Maluma singing simply over guitar - Marc Anthony style - then goes into a purely acoustic rumba/rap fusion, with help from Sid and Timbaland (who also produced) and a beautiful female-voice chorus in English. "Mi Declaración" defies description, yet still manages to fit into the album. And, kudos for handling the so-difficult bilingual element with nuance."

2. "La Ex" feat. Jason Derulo


3. "Cuenta a Saldo"

"Slow and sultry, with an almost Brazilian feel, it articulates everybody’s biggest fear: "The night you called me [...] You didn’t hang up your cellphone, and I heard you [...]" Oh well. Impossible not to relate."

New Kingdom Hearts 3 Demo is Showcased, Wreck-It Ralph Announced as a Summon, and Release Date news!

Over the past two days the Kingdom Hearts Premiere Event has been going on in Santa Monica, California where journalists and content creators were invited to try out Kingdom Hearts 3 for the first time in a demo that showcased a boss fight from Olympus (Hercules) against the Rock Titan and a sizable chunk of Toy Box (Toy Story) where you travel from Andy's Room to a new location called Galaxy Toys. Also revealed was a new "link" in the game where you can summon Wreck-It Ralph, which means he won't be getting his own world in KH3 but might very likely be the new world for the mobile game Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. Below the cut is the news from the event and overall gameplay impressions of the demo.

During the event Nomura has said that the release date will be announced "early next month" so keep your eyes out during the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra Concert (June 9th) and/or E3 (Square Enix's Presentation- June 11th).

Below are two gameplay impressions from journalists that explore a more in-depth look at the event and demo itself:







The main impression that were left with the people that had the chance to play the demo was that while the game felt familiar to its past predecessors, it is the new signature special attacks that makes KH3 feel unique and fresh. It allows you to mix up new combos and strategies with summons, attraction flows that are inspired from Disney parks, and new keyblade forms/finishers. Also new is the ability to rapidly switch between up to three keyblades just by using the d-pad. Of course there were some issues as well involving frame rates dropping and bad camera angles, especially during the rock titan fight.



  • There were other fun facts that were revealed as well during the event including:

  • There some easter eggs in the Toy Story world regarding Final Fantasy with Rex talking about how he is stuck on a Bahamut boss in a game he is currently playing.

  • Woody is very much out of his element when it comes to understand the classic Kingdom Hearts twists and turns (which we can all relate to)

  • Yosemite National Park influnced the overall feel and aesthetic of Olympus this time around

  • Wreck-It Ralph was originally going to be revealed next month but was decided to put him in the demo for this event

  • The theme for Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be "resolution"

  • The Toy Story keyblade is called "Infinity Badge", Tangled keyblade is "Ever After", and Monster's Inc. is "Smile Gear"

  • Earlier this week, a video of a man going on a racist rant in a Fresh Kitchen went viral. And the Internet went in. He was upset because workers at the restaurant were speaking Spanish to customers.
  • The Internet then quickly helped identify the man as Aaron Schlossberg, a 44-year old New York lawyer.
  • This happened before and it'll probably happen again: in 2016, Schlossberg verbally accosted a man from Massachusetts, Willie Morris, on the street after demanding where he was from ("You're an ugly f---ing foreigner. F--- you"). The video has since gone viral again.
  • In response to the Fresh Kitchen rant, two New York Democrats with the state court disciplinary system reported Aaron yesterday.
  • Schlossberg's law firm's Yelp page, after being inundated with negative reviews from those who saw his rants, now has a 1-star rating.
  • He's been kicked out of his office space, which he was renting from Corporate Suites.
  • A reporter confronted him in a Queens courthouse after the rant, but Schlossberg had no comment.

- Mel C aka Sporty Spice discussed how there has been on and off plans with the Spice Girls since their reunion tour in 2007/2008: "We get sick of each other and have to have a bit of space... we do love each other but we're like siblings."

- Clears up the rumors how some of the girls got an invitation to the royal wedding but not her. Victoria Beckham subtley confirmed her attendance to the wedding on the James Corden Show, while Mel B was stirring the pot about rumors if the girls were to attend and perform.

Mesut Özil and İlkay Gündoğan Under Fire for Posing with Turkish President

The German soccer federation (DFB) has strongly criticized German players Mesut Özil and İlkay Gündoğan for posing with Turkish president Erdoğan when he visited London on Sunday.

DFB chief Reinhard Grindel remarked: "The DFB of course respects the special situation for our players with migrant backgrounds, but football and the DFB stands for values that Mr Erdoğan does not sufficiently respect." He was likely referring to alleged human rights abuses occurring under the Erdoğan government and considered the photo support for his campaign for the upcoming election.

Oliver Biehroff, Germany's team coordinator said that "They were unaware of the symbolism of these pictures, but we cannot endorse it, and we will discuss the matter with the players" and reiterated Özil and Gündoğan's commitment to German values.

Amber Rose said that when she first saw Trump on the podium running for president she said it reminded her of "Kanye in a white man's body" and that they have the "same personality".

However she thinks there's a possibility that the Trump presidency could be leading to a greater good. Having heard that Trump was a Democrat for 30 years she considers whether it's a possibility he was using racist white people to get elected and then make change. She says that Kanye could appreciate that because he appreciates art. However she also thinks that Trump is a sexual predator and Melania should get a divorce.

She also praised her ex, 21 Savage for joining her at the annual slutwalk for holding a sign saying "I'm a hoe too". She said she considers that to be a sign of security in his manhood.

Mayo of the woods has canceled a string of shows: June 28 show in Birmingham, the July 2 gig in Manchester and the July 6 concert in Glasgow. A statement from Live Nation said: ”Justin Timberlake and Live Nation apologise for any inconvenience to fans.” Mayo who has suffered backlash from working with Woody Allen and scored the lowest rated SuperBowl halftime show in ten years, canceled the Uk shows due to poor sales. Meanwhile, other acts touring the UK this summer such as Britney Spears crashed ticketmaster when she released Uk dates for her tour. Fans were furious they couldn't get tickets to her show Spears was forced to add shows. Mr. Worldwide Pitbull will open for Spears. Meanwhile Timberlake continues to age like Mr Burns.

New She-Ra poster reveals new title

-She-Ra is comin to Netflix y'all! And the reboot will be titled 'She-Ra and the Princesses of Power'. The original was just Princess of Power.

-As half of you probably won't know, She-Ra originally was the Xena of her day, being a spin off of the popular He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He-Man helped bring She-Ra to power but it is unknown and unlikely that he will have anything to do in the spin off.

-She-Ra and the Princesses of Power follows an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra. She ends up joining the Rebellion and unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.
